What happened to the Wordpress Porto theme? I hope when you launch it there will be an easy upgrade path?
It was removed permanently due to lack customer service.

Yeah, we’re planning to include corporative home versions in the near future, but its difficult to update your current Porto theme with new one. Requires to replace it.
Ah ok thanks. This is bad news, there are 1000s of customers – I could see you (unfairly) getting a lot of complaints as people paid for the theme and it was pulled and then launched again. Also you have 1000s of people who have a theme they can’t upgrade…

I have just installed the theme on my dev server and I am getting the following errors as soon as I activate the porto theme

Why is this ? Is there a special install process outside of a normal WP theme install ?

quick question…. when I upload a product image 800×800 it displays not like the other images you had, it seems to display just a section of it, is there a way to show the new images with the same dimensions as the sample images? thx!
Please change the image sizes in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display section. We recommend the following sizes: catalog images: 300 X 400 Sing product image : 500 X 666 Product thumbnails : 90 X 90 After save changes, you should regenerate all the thumbnails in Tools > Regen.Thumbnails.

You should select the blog page in Settings -> Reading on admin sidebar.

Thanks for the nice theme. I’m an author of six WP books and going to write a book again about how to build a shopping cart with a premium theme. Your theme is one of the best candidates. I have an issue. The importing is perfect and takes little time in a remote dedicated server but I have a problem importing the demo site at the localhost. I tried several times until I thought it was unusual as I’ve been using tens of premium themes.
The messages after the importing stopped is something like following…
Media “Plane” already exists. Media “Runner money” already exists. Media “brand_01” already exists. Media “brand_02” already exists. Media “brand_03” already exists. Media “brand_04” already exists. Media “brand_05” already exists. Media “brand_06” already exists. Media “holder” already exists. Media “team-1” already exists. Media “team-2” already exists. Media “team-9” already exists. Media “parallax-transparent” already exists. Media “dark” already exists.
As you can see this is incomplete importing. I wonder if there is any idea to fix this. My computer is Win 8, memory 16g, i5 cpu. I tested two amp servers but same issues. I already increased the php performance possible in php.ini. The demo importing in localhost is very important while following the book.
Any idea will be helpful.

Hi, You should extend max_execution_time to 30000 in php,ini and restart apache server. Please add the following code below define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); in wp-config.php. define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128M’); Regards.
You should click “Reset All” after change the demo version. You should regenerate Theme CSS and Plugins CSS. You should click “Theme CSS” and “Plugins CSS” in Theme Options > Skin on admin sidebar.
I’m thinking it’s almost impossible to do the theme to be equal to the DEMO by the panel, make sure that the configuration is made only by the panel?

Porto Shortcodes and Porto Widgets need to be updated… how do i update them?
You should deactivate and delete this plugins in Plugins on admin sidebar. You should install and activate again in Appearance > Install Plugins.

I find the theme really slow to load pages. As soon as switch the theme off and put a different theme on it runs just fine. But with the theme on it can take up to 24seconds to load a page!
There’s no speed issue on Porto it self, we tested it on other customers’ sites and all of them are working well. Hope you to contact the server administrator. Also, it would be great if you can gather all of your questions into a single comment. Thanks for your understand.

You don’t need to activate. You can use only this plugin. We will embed again this plugin in porto theme if update. You can activate again after update porto theme.
Hi, I have a problem with the main menu. It displays none. I can add the created pages to the applied main menu, but it does not save the Position in the theme and therefore shows no main menu. Tried it several times, but unfortunately its always the same result. Can any one help me? I find nothing in the documentation about how to create the menu.

Hi, Could you create a new menu and assign the menu location to Main Menu? Please configure “Show Menu in Sidebar” to “No” in Theme Options > Main Menu > “If header type is 1 or 4”. Regards, SW
Well, thats exactly my problem. I am not able to assign the menu location to main menu. It does not save the setting. I have made the configuration in the theme options, but nothing has changed. It does not matter what header type i choose, it does not shows me the menu. Any other idea? Or should i install the theme again?
