Is it possible to use a tall image, say 1920×6000 as a background image, and have the blog and/or other pages in a boxed layout atop the image? Ideally this would also have a parallax effect.

By using Visual Composer (the bundled page builder) you can easily achieve any look you see in our demo – including the parallax effect you can see. However, this can be set only for the pages the user creates. Blog listing page is a template page that you cannot edit manually.

Hey, super amazing theme!!!
I have a minor customization issue… I am trying to get my header menu to be transparent on all sliders. I have read the earlier threads and nothing is working for me so far.
I have gone into the setting of each slide and modified the header style from light to dark… I have also modified (in “Select Option/Header Footer” section) the transparency setting from 0 to 1 and vice versa, I did it for: Initial, Scrolled, and Sticky Sections….still not getting the result I need.
The menu is transparent in your demo, so I know it is possible, how do I achieve this?

Set this value to 600 to have your slider 600px.
If you leave this property empty, your slider will be full-screen.

These are all Google fonts located at http://www.google.com/fonts. So, at the moment what you can do is cross-reference the fonts located in your dropdown menus with how they appear on the URL above. Unfortunately, there’s not a native option to showcase these fonts in the site’s back-end.

Hi there. I have a pre-sales question. I very much like ALL the themes from your studio. I was wondering if you happen to use Bootstrap or Foundation as an HTML framework as a basis for them?
I’m just thinking about extending one of these themes in a child theme, and if a parent theme is done in one of those two frameworks, I find that it tends to be easier to extend with a child theme.

This is probably happening because you are trying to install Visual Composer with the child theme activated. Please activate the main Nouveau theme and try installing Visual Composer, and then switch back to you child theme after you install it and everything should work fine.

I am getting an error after uploading theme via theme uploader saying this for the layerslider WP – destination theme folder already exist. How do I fix this?

Please go to your wp-content folder/plugins (via FTP software) delete LayerSlider folder. Then you will get a notification that you are required to install the plugin to run our theme. Just click to install/activate and that is all there is to it. If somehow you don’t get this notifications, then go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload – Find this plugins in theme folder/plugins, select one by one and click import/install.

And the comments are displayed below the post – to have this comment number displayed on the top of the post some theme template modification needs to be done by the end user.

This built-in Like feature is only available for single blog posts. You could try using our built-in Social Share functionality (set in WP Admin -> Select Options -> Social Share) to achieve a somewhat similar effect or try to find a plugin to help you with this. But please have in mind that we’ve not tested any plugin of the sort with our theme and therefore cannot guarantee full compatibility. Thanks for understanding.
