I found what was my problem when my site work very slowly. This all happened because of the new version of Fusion Core. After installing the new version of Fusion Core, I deleted two files fusion-core.php and fuison-slider.php and downloaded the same files from the previous version. Everything worked !!

Yes, i already updated to Avada 3.8.2. But my site worked slowly after. But when after updated Fusion Core I deleted two files fusion-core.php and fuison-slider.php and downloaded the same files from the previous version of Fusion Core. Everything worked !! Problem were in Fusion Core newest version which in you Avada 3.8.2. I replace newest files of Fusion Core to previous version.
Thank you for your report. Unfortunately, we have not been able to replicate this on any other user site or locally. I tested around on your site, trying to debug what was going on and saw that a simple do_shortcode is EXTREMLY slow on your site but 99% of the users are fine with it.
We’ll keep checking and as soon as we have a fix, we’ll release an update.

Has the huge CSS block come back in Avada 3.8.2?
Yesterday I noticed that 3.8.1 had removed it.
Or have I done something wrong?
I am testing 3.8.2 in a local install without child theme.

Wellthis depends. We needed to add the block back for limited server environments. You have a new option to turn on the less compiler, which will get rid of all that code. But your server environment needs to have enough resources for this to work. Please be careful, if you are unsure.

OK, thanks, found it. I had to manually create a file avada-dynamic.css in the /wp-less-cache/ folder. I saw that this file was needed in tools.pingdom.com.
Anyway, when the ‘Activate LESS Compiler’ option is activated, all pages go 100% fullscreen (header, content and footer). In fact, the avada-dynamic.css file remains empty.
Is there a reason?

For us to check the issue, please post a support query at http://theme-fusion.com/support/ with your wp-admin and FTP info. The LESS compiler should automatically generated CSS in the less file and this could be for a couple of reasons. Did you try activating WP_DEBUG which would show an error if the LESS compiler is crashing.

Hello, it’s a local site. Debug is on and no error is indicated.
In this site uploads are stored in /photos (root folder).
I have put…
/wp-less-cache/avada-dynamic.css /wp-less-cache/avada-dynamic-IE.css
...either in /photos and in /uploads but nothing changes.

CSS are normally filled in with code in my root folder:
/photos/wp-less/cache/...
It works although it is not in /wp-content/uploads/.
Good to hear that. Maybe the CSS just needed to be regenerated.

Is the code simpler and cleaner than before now with this new version? I have read a lot about the bloat and code being really in need of cleaning up. Has this been done with this new release? How long to debug thins version? I am afraid to do it!

We have devoted a lot of time to clean up code, especially for this update. So yes, a lot has improved. With the latest build, v3.8.2, we don’t expect a lot of problems. We had one with 3.8.1, for weaker server environments, but this is fixed now.

I have the same problem. Updating to 3.82, my site doesn’t works properly. the backend fusion builder panel, continues to be the old one. The columns doesn’t work. I can’t duplicate the full width container.

i have 1.6.1 … i notice the latest is 1.7.1 ...but there isn’t an update from plugins panel … and the button from new panel of 3.8.2 not work. if i check the plugin fusion core and make the update from plugin panel…after the procedure of update… the plugin update info say i have the latest 1.6.1

Just uninstall fusion core and you will be prompted to install latest version, which ships with the theme. Go to the Avada main menu and there to “Install Plugins”. On that page hit install for the fusion core plugin.

ok. i got it. deactivate and delete the fusioncore 1.6.1 and install from new panel the new 1.7.1 . Now all is ok . thanks

We had a major update in v3.8, then we had to fix a critical bug as well. The current version is v3.8.2, however you only need to update if you are having issues with your version. Only a small fraction of customers showed the issue but it has been resolved.

The contact page is actually only a page template that pulls the contact map/form info from theme options so we do not include it in the prebuilt files. In Avada 3.7.4 every page open fast

As I was stating before though this is the only case that has reported this. The other cases were a different issue so I did not expect 3.8.2 to help your situation because it sounds like PHP configs.

About all problems. After try other solutions besides the fix… revert to old AVADA theme 3.7.4 . All seem to work again as usual. the sites load the pages so fast and the layout is ok. Waiting for update without problems. thanks.

I dont understand why … in my case … for example … the syntax for the Column Shortcodes after upgrading to 3.8.1 do not work anymore.. ...this is a small problem among many

We woudl need more information and an example of what is going on. Columns are all working for us on our end. Are you referring to custom CSS? If so there were class changes and that is expected.

i have update to 3.8.2. the layout of colums shortcode not working . example … if i revert to 3.7.4 …the short code [one_half last=”no” etc etc] test [/one_half] [one_half last=”yes” etc etc] test[/one_half] ...produce a page with “test | test” in 3.8.2 produce a page “test ..under …test” ... this is a problem for layout.

Yes that is the first we have heard of this, Are you sure you also updared fusion core plugin? http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/plugin-installation/
It is required when you update the theme, Nothing has changed with columns in that regard.
Please verify you have updated fusion core. And for us to check this or hep further, we have to have you submit a ticket.

As stated before, your issue sound completely different! You have mentioned several times that it only happens once you turn on WooCommerce. This has everything to do with PHP settings.
Avada 3.8.2 fixed an issue that some users were having but it is not the issue that you are describing.
Please do as I have asked and open a support ticket with our system. http://theme-fusion.com/support-ticket/ If you do not do that there is no possible way for us to look at your issue and confirm it.
