That is true, we also hold ourselves accountable for things and do everything we can to prevent issues.
I migrated my website from a test environment to a live environment. The revolution slider works on the home page, but a second revolution slider I have created does not load up properly. It loads perfectly fine on the computer in which I have created the website from however it does not load on any other computer on the internal OR external network. Please help.
Also, my home page slider doesn’t transition – at the end of the first slide it is just stuck ‘thinking’. Again, it is fine on my computer but not for any others.

The rev slider issue sounds like it is missing images or graphics. Edit the slider and look for each layer to verify there are no missing images.

It’s not missing images. Everything is there, linked properly and In the media section. When you view the slider it is a grey background and doesn’t load anything whatsoever. Two of the three revolution sliders have all the content however this particular one fails to load. Ill post a ticket like you said
Yes please post a ticket, it maybe something on the page that is causing it. Also check widgets if there is a sidebar on those pages.

When is the stable version of the new update Avada coming up…3.8.1 and .2 with all of these people are complaining about issues and problems..I would request avada to let their customers know when a final and stable version without any issues is released so that we dont waste our time in updating and solving issues again and again..Please respond

For all who are posting bad reviews about this update. I can say only that it is IMPERATIVE to follow a backup protocol to keep you from being “stuck” with a bad update. There are numerous backup plugins that offer virtually one or two click restoration of a previous version of your site – just so that this type of thing does not happen. UpdraftsPlus (not affiliated with them in any way) is just such a plugin. We did a full and complete backup of our site – upgraded to the latest Avada – noticed a couple issues, and immediately went back to our previous version with NO ISSUES.
Plan people. Plan. Do not blindly upgrade and complain when bad things happen. Be kind to the author, give them constructive input to fix issues, and then wait for the corrections. Avada is a MASSIVELY powerful theme that has served us all very well. And for a VERY cheap price for what you receive.
Being a CTO, I NEVER rely on anyone but myself to make certain my data is fully protected. Issues happen. And it’s upon us to protect ourselves from them. Plan ahead and these things will not adversely affect you or your sites. Further.. NEVER update a production site. Only update an alpha or beta.. then test before going to the production upgrade.

Any new update for any theme will come with some issues, and a lot of comments about things totally breaking are not from theme issues but from cache or missing files during upload, etc.
A good example is someone who updated to 3.8.2 but only chose to update some files, not all. I’ve seen many cases like that over the past few days.

So true. Typically those who are “happy” don’t come back to comment. I can sympathize with people who feel things are broken. Yet with a little pre-planning, things like these can be completely avoided.
For the record, I have updated two alpha sites, and have had ZERO issues with the update. I will, of course, go the SUPPORT AREA if I have trouble. I will not post to the ‘comment’ section for that type of help.
Thanks for an awesome product! It’s not 100% perfect – nothing is. Nothing I’ve ever written has been. Yet this is one of the most powerful, flexible and useful themes I’ve ever seen… period. After 20+ years in the business, I’ve learned to do my homework – and this time it served me well.

how can you say this is working read forum people are crying over the update and you release patch evry hour and i am sure a 3.8.3 soon This should never happened you have have taken 75 installation of avada with different server and multisite and domain mapping and 100 of plugin install and test update see what results comes you should otherwise offer a upgrade service that we pay to do it your self we have no time to change all the custom code and the child and more and more we do not want to replace any plugin that use to work properly what is strange is out of the 75 beta tester none after upgrade had any issue? for me i get a white screen then i can not save post

First off, you never even described the issue, you simply said “save post logo”. I have no idea what that means except for the logo width/height setting which many users have not set correctly.
Second of all, what you are viewing in the forum is the community forum, not our support area. In addition, what you are failing to understand is that the vast majority of issues reported are not from the theme but are from things like not clearing cache, not updating all files, not updating fusion core and more. The list goes on and on.
Yes there have been some valid bugs that were missed in beta testing. We had 75+ users testing it for 6 weeks. Things can be missed. Of course none of our beta testers ran into these issues, if they did we would of fixed it before release. You have to understand all the various factors that can lead to update issues, many of which we have no control over. All we can do is test in various environments and ensure it is good for us, which is exactly what we are doing.
And this is why we are also working like crazy to help fix anything that was missed. Would you rather us not try to fix them?

All of those are in the last 12 hours and I could post 100 more from the last 24. I hope this sheds light on the reality of it, you cannot only judge things based on what you see in a forum.
My point is you are only seeing comments from a very small portion of our customer base. If you have an issue, open a ticket and we can look. If you are unsure then simply wait and allow us to keep doing what we know to do.

sorry did not mean to be offensive at All I believe and really trylly believe that AVADA is the best theme ever and i bought more than 10 to envato and never use them except avada due to their lack of flexibility i am just maybe concern on updating live because of all this issue i see keep the good work would love to see a way in avada to add a nice color next to a caegory instead of using a plugin for it

Thank you and I apologize if I took offense. There was one main critical issue and that was fixed in 3.8.2. A big part of the problem is many customers from over a year ago received the update email and were on like v2 or v3.1 which is a significant difference from the new 3.8. So we’ve been super busy answering all their questions, while at the same time collecting any bugs that were missed and issuing a new update for it.
Our team of 15 is working around the clock to get all tickets answered and to issue the next 3.8.3 version.

Those are included as the font icon in the theme, there is not an option to change that but it can be done via customizations.
You would need to inspect it and get the correct class to target, then insert your own icon or image there.

I have applied some widgets in sidebar and following is the website.

Why do I get a Memory Limit error when I installed the the theme. I have never had this error before. I have checked my phpinfo.php on host site and it is 296M which I am sure is way more than adequate. The error reported seeing 40M. Given I have 1024 to play with I dont really want to adjust higher.

Are you installing 3.8 or3.8.1? Please use 3.8.2 and that should go away.
The issue was with the new LESS compiler which simply requires a few more resources, but in 3.8.2 it was made into an option that is disabled by default.

This occurred only with latest 3.8.2 but everything appears OK I was just surprised to get warning when I had already set a much higher limit

Yes it is a false positive that we have narrowed down and fixe in upcoming version.
By chance do you have a ticket open? We can verify it for you, but so far its been verified on about 5 user sites that reported it also.

Yes for sure you can add it to the main or top menu. Look in the WPML settings for language switcher, you can assign it to the top menu.

There can only be one sliding bar, however you can put up to 6 columns inside of it.
Hmm you could add text to have it open instead of the + icon, but that would take some code adjustments and also testing to verify it fits and works on all screens sizes. It is recommended to keep it as an icon.

Issue -> Fusion Slider (FULL SCREEN) & Transparent Header not fullscreen! It was possible to reproduce this on several platforms. The combination of Fusion Slider FULL SCREEN with Transparent Header results in a Slider that is not fullscreen. In fact it cuts the 85px height of the header section off my slider (at the bottom). I need this working fullscreen with the transparent header. Can you help me with this isue and implement it to the next update!? Thank you so much for this awesome template, lets make it even more awesome.
Fusion Slider calculates the content height not the browser height! This needs to be changed, please give me Infos on how to have full height for Fusion Slider with transparent Header!
