Hi,
For some reason, icons (socila media, buttons, ....) do not seem to show on Chrome and Firefox, though they show on Safari. Is that an issue from my settings or a some kind of bug with these two browsers? I looked into the Icon Fonts Manager section but I can’t find a setting panel.

No, there is no bug related with those 2 browsers (chrome, mozilla). To figure it out better please send me a link of your website.
P.S. it can be caused with old versions of those browsers, but they should be very old if they don’t work. In the newer updates they are working just fine.

When I use the visual composer on the intro page to the neptune theme (the page with the animation of the portfolio images in the background, and the discover button) all of the imagery disappears and I can only see the bounding boxes for the various elements? I am able to edit this page in the backend view. The composer seems to be working on the other pages though. any thoughts?

I am attempting to upload the cufo.zip into wordpress using the appearance panel and I get an error that says. “are you sure you want to do this? please try again”
I am using wordpress 4.1.1 and wamp 2.5
please advise.
I do have filezilla and could try doing this as ftp but I’m unsure if this is possible developing the site locally.

Is there a way to change the dimensions of the tiles in the ‘The Sun’ setup? Now they are pretty much square, but is it possible to change the ratio to 3:2 for instance?

1. Yes you can change Aspect Ratio of those images. Just go to Theme Customizer -> Portfolio Page (section) -> General (tabs) and there you will see aspect ratio options. If you want to get 3:2 ratio, you need to set 300:200 or 600:400 and so on. Thats how the logic works. Then you should Rebuild Thumbnails from Dashboard -> Tools ->
2. Yes it is possible. Just go to Theme Customizer -> Menu & Filters -> Menu Items (tabs) and customize it from the “Styling Options” window.

Thanks Duke. I did not rebuild the thumbs so that is why I struggled to get it done.
As for the menu, I do not see how I can change the menu other than the colors and such. What I actually want is to have a whole different menu. Something like in this screenshot for instance: http://www.roemwebshops.nl/likethis.jpg Something more button like that plain text.

There’s just one thing that’s bothering me and was wondering if it’s possible to change.
When you click on a portfolio image and go into the portfolio single page – it seems to automatically resize the images. (in this case they are scaled up) Is there any way of not having this so that I determine the image size myself?

To do that you will need to make one trick, You should remove Featured Images on the single page via option(checkbox): “Exclude Featured Image” and after that insert image with custom sizes in the post content.

Sorry for that, but you can not customizer gallery image size. I don’t add option for that because it will broke on some browsers/OS/responsive and so on..

Hi! I’ve installed the theme but when I go to customize, I get the same error of some folks here. I tried to change memory limits to 256MB as you guide in the image http://goo.gl/9VXLhZ, but keep the same error.

If you follow up guidlines and still can’t fix it, it means your server does not allow 256MB to be increased by that way, that means you should contact with them and ask to change memory limito from their control panel, not yourth.
Actually it is happening because your server is bad configured and your memory limit appears low in that case.

On some servers customiser displays that php notice, but actually it is not a problem for you. Customizer will work fine. Its your server issue but again it will not affect on your theme.

I’ve tried to search for answers to lightbox options for embedded video but am not sure what the latest option is. My portfolio is for video and it seems it would be so much easier if the videos popped up in a lightbox instead of going to a single post page. All I’ve managed to be able to do is have the picture show up in a lightbox. Ive tried a few plugins but are there are any you recommend? Am I overlooking a way to do this without an additional plugin? Thank you for your help!

And within each category, several products in the portfolio with the possibility of filters them.

Portfolio Pages: “Work 1” and “Work 2” both with different filters. So if you can create 2 Portfolio pages that means you can create 3, 4, 5 … etc as well.

If something is shown in preview it means you can make it too when you buy theme. So YES you can create those sub categories in portfolio, which means you can create multiple portfolio pages.

Sure, thats what we call “Multiple Portfolio”. You will have ‘portfolio’ in the header meanu and under (as sub menu) it you will have those 3 categories.

FTP is an always better way, but you can do it via wordpres installer aswell, cheers

If you are looking for “media hover” and lightbox – you can find it in customizer > portfolio page section > media.

Titles on lightbox will appear depending on Image Alt text. If image has all text it will appear on lightbox popup.
To see changes after update – you should always clear browser cache.

Hi Duke! Absolutely love the theme and all the hard work you continue to put in it. I’m having trouble embedding videos in my portfolio pages though. I select the video post type and then paste the code into the embed field but nothing shows up for some reason?

There should be 2 problems which may cause that:
1. You are not inserting Embed code correctly (that should be an Embed/Iframe Code not a Sharing Link)
2. You don’t set Featured Image on that post (if it is portfolio post ofc)
So check those issues and if you still can’t solve it please provide a link of that page.

Sorry to bother you again, but i have another question. I love the gallery that the theme uses, but would like to be able to change the target url. for example, clicking on a still image in the gallery would open up an animated gif. i know you can do this with the included shortcodes plugin and probably with the included revolution slider, but i would like to use the theme gallery to do this. is this possible????

I’ve made some quick researches and figured out that it could NOT be done with default gallery, because wordpress does NOT allow custom urls on the images inside galleries. It will need to be accomplished via hiring some developer who is familiar with wordpress/php.

Hi it very simple, just create new page name it ’’BLOG”’ and set “Default Template” in page attributes and save page, then go to settings reading and set post page to “BLOG” page. That’s all

I want to increase the logo size to a full width and after using some CSS I can see some progress however it is still forcing the setting when I view as it is restricting to 350px in-line, how can I turn this setting off or adjust it? The setting is under logo and tagline and only allows for 350px wide. I need to disable please.

1. you can edit all those navigation options from the Theme Customizer -> Pagination (section)
2. this depends on what you call footer:
2.1 if your footer contains footer widgets go to Theme Customizer -> Widgets (panel) -> Top & Footer Widgets (section).
2.2 if your footer containes only copyright and socias, in this case go to Theme Customizer -> Copyright & Socials (section)
Background options will be in the first tab -> Styling options (window)
