something is wrong with this theme. i’m changing the menu, the colors and other areas, but nothing is changing. nothing is changing!

i followed the install instructions to the letter. something is wrong with this theme. i was really hoping to get some help. installing a theme is not complicated.
i asked a question back on feb 19, 2015 and i’m still waiting for support to give me a detailed answer for removing the header image from each page.
how do i remove or hide the blog header image and remove the hear image from the home page.

GGoasis, I just bought the theme and having a terrible time getting it working. I’m about 4 hours in and still only have just a splash page running with the video background.
One word of Caution - There is no simple drag and drop page builder feature if thats what you're looking for.You are going to need to look all over the place, use short code, and have some level of comftor getting your hands dirty.
IF thats not what youre looking for - keep looking.IM not giving up yet, but I must admit … it’s very overwhelming.

Dear United Themes: Great job with Brooklyn! Over 14k sold is a wonderful stat. I am considering purchasing the theme but am new to WP and was wondering if the theme and related plugins are upgraded to keep pace with every WP upgrade? I am concerned to purchase a theme then have something break when WP is upgraded. I checked with my hosting provider and they keep the latest versions of WP on the server. Also will someone who has basic coding knowledge and no WP experience be able to work with this theme? Thanks for your help.

Since theme and plugins are not coming straight out of the WordPress repository there is no direct updater included. But with the help of this plugin here, you can keep the theme up to date: http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-update-themeforest-themes-with-the-envato-wordpress-toolkit/ It’s an official plugin from envato ( themeforest ).

Well, our demo importer makes easy to setup your theme quickly but we do not have a visual builder, means you ahve to deal with shortcode inside the content. For everything else we have option ( like colors etc. ).

Hello. I wonder if I there is a way to link the portfolio item to target=’‘blank’’ (new tab) when ’’on a separate portolio page’’ or ’’external URL’’ is chosen in the portfolio details option. I guess it has to be done manually modifying the code right?

I am unable to register for your support system. I follow the registration link (http://helpdesk.unitedthemes.com/index.php/Register) but after submitting the form, I get an error: Access denied. You’re not authorized to view this page.
I tried logging in with the username and password I specified during the registration process, but it says not found. I’m pretty sure there is a problem with the registration process. I have no trouble finding my purchase code, etc.

1. Can I use custom fonts with it? If I want to upload and use a font that’s not available on the theme how can I?
2. Can I change the navigation menu to have items and design of my choice? If it is not inbuilt in the theme to change the navigation bar how easy would it be to change it with minimum amount of code.
3. I really like the smooth scroll on the theme. Parallax can be improved a little.
4. Can I have a different home page when the website is opened on the mobile? if yes, how can that be achieved.
I would love to use this theme. Please respond asap so I can make the purchase.

You need to manually create a CSS call for these files, since the theme only support google fonts out of the box.

Well you can make use of a child theme and place your customized header inside. Keep in mind, that this is a modification and our after sale support does not cover these kind of questions.
3. I really like the smooth scroll on the theme. Parallax can be improved a little.
In this case you need to touch the theme JavaScript and play with the parallax values.
4. Can I have a different home page when the website is opened on the mobile? if yes, how can that be achieved.
No that’s not possible. The theme uses media queries do adjust the front page for mobile view.

Well there are no other tables included than the pricing tables we have on our live demos. In this case we can only recommend to go with a table grid plugin which can offer you more freedom when presenting data tables.

no the theme is basically intended to display the front page first, which means you can of course use the blog as your desired front page but once you need to use the sections as we have on the front pages you need to set a front and blog page. In this case only a URL redirect where you set the blog permalink as your start page can help.

Hi,
I have created a Work Gallery section. When I click on any of the image thumbnail, the image expands. But the next and previous arrows ’<’ ’>’ are not working. The close ‘X’ is working. The over all loading of the image takes way too long.

visual composer does not play well with our theme. There might be visual issues especially when using the portfolio plugin since our theme as well as VC are using similar classes and libraries which might interfere.

My theme looks good, except at the top there is a dancing wire frame that I can’t get rid of. If I change the top page, it changes the entire one page set up I have.

I have the video as the background for my entire website, and I also have the poster image enabled.
