There are 2 review areas on product pages.
http://meetyourtrainers.com/product/trainer-membership/I see 1 only – http://www.imagebam.com/image/6fe23f409530263
Theme does not work with WooCommerce. See at http://meetyourtrainers.com/product/trainer-membership/
I don’t see any problem on the live demo – http://www.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com/1/product/aenean-at-ligula-in-augue-iaculis/
You have corrupted something in code. There is also special page template “WooCommerce” for the Shop pages.
Thanks!
Hi
Is it possible for users to upload images etc?
Hi,
Install RTMedia plugin and check this topic – http://support.diaboliquedesign.com/forums/topic/rtmedia-plugin-how-to-make-it-work/
HI, i just bought your awesome theme, and was wondering, is it possible to make profile tags, that can lead people with the same interest to your profile? 2. when installing the theme, what is the diference between adding a theme file and just choose from the themes?
hope you understand my questions, thx!
Hi,
1. When you go to profile you can click on the any field and you will see the list of other members with the same interest – http://www.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com/1/members/admin/profile/
2. I don’t understand.
Hello, how to insert a picture or an avatar in the profile
Hello,
There is a special page where user can change avatar. Theme works with RTMedia plugin too.
All group URLs have /forum at the end of the urls and go to page not found. If I switch theme all is good.
http://meetyourtrainers.com/groups/You have to enable forum for each group.
What does that mean?
Go to specific group -> Manage -> Forum -> check Yes. I want this group to have a forum.
There is no option for that. See video at http://recordit.co/rXyFonwR91
Install bbpress plugin.
So you have to have forums in order for groups page to work with this theme?
If don’t want this redirection then check this tutorial – http://themeforest.net/item/communityjunction-buddypress-theme/7298510/faqs/21521
Thanks!
Hi, few questions please. Can i change colors also can the header be a slide?
Hi,
There is a chapter in the documentation about how to change colors of theme. Here is a tutorial how to add slider http://support.diaboliquedesign.com/forums/topic/add-revolution-slider/
I installed RTMedia so users can upload images but when you click on the “Media” tab it goes to the “Hello World” blog post with the profile and everything is appearing below the “Blog” page title.
Please check it out – http://support.diaboliquedesign.com/forums/topic/rtmedia-plugin-how-to-make-it-work/
Is there any plugin you recommend that works with this theme to allow Facebook user registration/login?
For example this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/oa-social-login/
How do I change “BuddyPress lets users sign-up and start creating profiles, posting messages, making connections, creating groups, and much more. A social network in a box, BuddyPress lets you easily build a community for your company, school, sports team, or other niche community.” on the homepage? I already opened up the CommunityJunction.pot language file and changed the ../frontpage1.php:20 section of that file with the new message but it’s not showing up.
Ok I figured it out. It’s not using the language file, you need to edit the header and footer php files to change the text on the homepage.
You have to generate new language files .po and .mo using Poedit, don’t edit .pot file, check in documentation of theme the how to translate theme chapter.
Is it possible to change the fields on the registration page?
Go to Users -> Profile fields
Thanks
Is it possible to create a private community with this theme? So that only registered members can view the content?
Yes, here is a long thread about it – http://support.diaboliquedesign.com/forums/topic/how-to-make-website-visible-for-logged-users-only/
Thanks
I am having an issue, the blog section of my site is not showing properly. Somehow, it only shows the first page of the blog list and second page of the blog list, even though i have three lists. Scroll to the bottom to see the number of pages.
Here’s my site: http://ellohello.com/blog/
It can be caused by some plugin, I have hame many posts on my test site and no problems here.
Hi I’m interested in your template. I want to know about SEO of your template. Is it compatible or not? If so, what would be the best SEO plugins choices to use with your template, If not, what would you suggest to adapt your template for page ranking improvements. Thanks for you help!
Hi,
Well, I think it’s compatible.
Ok, do you have suggestions to improve the SEO in your template?
It seems like there should be blog posts wrapped by H1 tags only.
When I Import Dummy Content with WP Clone WP Academy I get locked out of my site because it replaces all the users… how can I get back in after installing dummy content?
You should go to your database -> Users table, change e-mail address of admin user and then reset your password. I’m just fixing this issue.
Thank you! Beautiful work by the way
My download only contained the child theme… ???
Theme is in the CommunityJunction folder.
please, my wordpress 3.4.1 not compatible… help me (no upgrade, this is a community) thanks
You must upgrade to 4.1.1, there is no other way.
There is a very few documentation on how to modify the theme. For example: How can I modify the Frontpage texts like “BuddyPress lets users sign-up and start creating profiles, posting messages, making connections, creating groups, and much more.” ? Also How can I modify the background image for the slider in the Frontpage? Colors of the theme? I cannot have total control of this theme.
All text strings you can change in the language file -> IV. How to translate theme? chapter
Slider -> http://themeforest.net/item/communityjunction-buddypress-theme/7298510/faqs/20126
Hi,
Does this theme have an option for changing the default colors of the theme?
If not, do you offer initial help with color customization?
Hi,
There is a chapter in documentation called “VI. Style customisation” where is explained how to change all not grey colors.
Why am I not able to find where to change the texts on the homepage in WP dashboard?
“BuddyPress lets users sign-up and start….”
Pls, don’t tell me I have to edit core files to change a simple text on frontpage. I have been trying to do this via the dashboard for ages.
NVM, I changed it via theme editor.
But is it possible to copy the frontpage1.php and footer.php files to the Child theme so I don’t lose the changes if updating theme?
You should change it via language file, check in documentation – IV. How to translate theme?
Will look the language file.
BTW, for future release I would like to suggest you implement in the theme settings, a common function that lets us set custom style/colors or use predefined color schemes. This would save us lots of hassles; like trying to change the blue header on every page which I can’t seem to find yet.
It’s on the very top of the VI. Style customisation chapter Where I can change general blue color of header?
It’s on the very top of the VI. Style customisation chapter Where I can change general blue color of header?
I read the documentation from beginning to end, so I saw that chapter and made the changes smoothly. However, i’m a bit disappointed that it only changed the color of the frontpage blue header, and not every page.
Every other page/directory including Groups, Forums, Blogs, Pages, etc., still has the blue header intact. What css codes can I place inside child theme css file to change all this? Thanks
Paste it in myStyle.css:
#header-title { background:#3277d4; }
Thanks!
Hi,
Can you pls tell me which font type you used for creating the “A Social Network” logo in homepage?
Thanks again
Hi,
Is this a theme issue or a Buddypress issue?
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="640"]
Enter photo caption here[/caption]
• When a photo is inserted in a group post, the above code is displayed around the photo. Pls, how can I fix this caption issue?
• Secondly, how can I prevent blog posts from showing the full texts but only excerpts? Currently, full texts are showing in blog directory.
• Important Issue: Members avatars is not showing in homepage when logged in on mobile device. The only thing that shows is for example: “13 members and counting….” How can I fix this?

Check a default WP theme.
Secondly, how can I prevent blog posts from showing the full texts but only excerpts? Currently, full texts are showing in blog directory.
Press the more button, it’s between post title and text editor.
Important Issue: Members avatars is not showing in homepage when logged in on mobile device. The only thing that shows is for example: “13 members and counting….” How can I fix this?.
It happens when you have very low amount of members. Open css/responsive.css and remove it:
.frontpage-members-loop a:nth-last-of-type(1), .frontpage-members-loop a:nth-last-of-type(2), .frontpage-members-loop a:nth-last-of-type(3) { display:none; }

• When a photo is inserted in a group post, the above code is displayed around the photo. Pls, how can I fix this caption issue?
- Confirmed, it’s a theme issue. No problem with default theme Twenty Fifteen. Do you have a fix for this yet?
Important Issue: Members avatars is not showing in homepage when logged in on mobile device. The only thing that shows is for example: “13 members and counting….” How can I fix this?.
- Fixed. Also commented out the same issue with Popular Groups on Homepage not showing. Also commented out another line of code that didn’t show all members. You should apply this fixes to next updates too.
Another issue is the responsiveness, in which I see other buyers have also complained about. I notice the theme’s responsiveness does not fully adapt in mobile devices, and does not lock-in to screen size. This is why the theme’s layout is dragging to the left and showing white space to the right. I have confirmed this issue on iOS and Android. Any fix for this?
Finally, BuddyPress recently released a new update. Is it safe to update without causing an issue with the theme? I would think each time BuddyPress is updated, your theme would also be updated to be compatible with any new changes.

Where did you generated this code and where are you trying to insert it? Into the Groups activity or forum post?

This is not a bug, there are hidden some last groups and members because I want to display it in regular rows.

Can you post a link to the those clients because I can’t find it. This is how it looks on most mobile defices – http://www.responsinator.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com%2F1%2F

I didn’t check it yet.

Forum post, not group activity.
Version 2.2 is a major BuddyPress feature release.
For Version 2.2, the database version (_bp_db_version in wp_options) was 9181, and the Trac revision was 9441. Read the full ticket log here here: https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/milestone/2.2
Source: https://codex.buddypress.org/releases/version-2-2/
I believe this upgrade may break the theme since it’s a major feature release. So pls, check it out and let us know if its safe to upgrade installation or wait for theme update.
I will update theme tomorrow.
Theme is compatible with the latest version of Buddypress and doesn’t need any update.
Hi,
I don’t think I complete understand your last comments. Did you recently update the theme or not?
I received a notice that theme was updated, but the changelog is still of v1.1.8 - can you clarify on this?
Last update contains one-click demo content installation only.
Ok thanks, I did not bother updating the theme based on this information.
What can I expect from today’s latest update?
With v1.1.9, how to update?
Upload modified files and delete the two obsolete files?
Hi,
I need timely answers with results. I just updated to 1.1.9 but the welcome text is not showing; I urgently need to fix this asap so I can make site live again.
Nevermind I figured it out.
For a commercial theme, one area where CommunityJunction theme loses many points is not having any ad placement integration; so the possibilities of monetizing our community website is very limited. For this reason alone, the theme should not cost this much; and that’s just one of the issues.
So far, I have not been able to find any ad or adsense plugin for a BuddyPress site.
Pls consider adding advertisement option for this buddypress theme of yours. You should also improve the title structure (and meta data) for forum topics, groups, etc. These are some of the basic things that qualifies an item as a BuddyPress Theme—you have to optimize it, not leave it as default.
I commend you on the 1.1.9 release by simplifying things. However, the welcome text area in the Customizer does not work. I had to upload the text image using file manager to the appropriate directory.

Tell me where do you want to place these ads then I will tell you where to paste code with your ads. You have full widget ready sidebars so I think this place is the best for ads.

http://www.metatags.org/google_ignores_meta_tags_in_rankingIn SEO the most important are links to your website from other websites. I think the title tag is already fine.

Thank you for your concern and support. I was able to locate most of the pages I needed to place ad codes. But I haven’t been able to find the following pages to edit:- http://www.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com/1/groups/music/forum/ ( I would like to place an ad after the blue header)
- http://www.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com/1/blog/ (I would also like to place an ad after the blue header in blog index page)
- http://www.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com/1/members/nicole/activity/40/ (I would also like to place an ad after the blue header in member’s activity post)
<?php bbp_get_template_part( 'form', 'reply' ); ?>
[TheChamp-FB-Comments]
<?php endif; ?>
Just so you know, the shortcode works on the default twenty fifteen theme, but not on CommunityJunction. What’s the fix for this?
1. groups\single\plugins.php before:
<?php do_action( 'bp_before_group_body' ); ?>
2. blog.php after div id=”content”
3. activity\single\home.php after
<?php do_action( 'template_notices' ); ?>
You can’t paste shortcodes directly in php files, https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode
paste it
<?php echo do_shortcode( '[TheChamp-FB-Comments]' ); ?>
Can you pls confirm that in your most recent update (June 1st), all I have to do is replace the modified file: header.php – right?
BTW, one of your previous solutions (#3) regarding ad placement did not work.
3. activity\single\home.php after
<?php do_action( 'template_notices' ); ?>
Hi, Diabolique
Few questions:
1. How can I show related posts in forum topics (bbpress/content-single-topic.php) similar to how it’s displayed in blog posts ?
2. How can I limit the number of related posts in blog, and also in forum topics?
Thanks
Can you pls confirm that in your most recent update (June 1st), all I have to do is replace the modified file: header.php – right?
Yes, header.php only.
, one of your previous solutions (#3) regarding ad placement did not work.
Paste it in members/single/activity/permalink.php
1. How can I show related posts in forum topics (bbpress/content-single-topic.php) similar to how it’s displayed in blog posts ?
Not possible.
2. How can I limit the number of related posts in blog, and also in forum topics?
Blog: open single.php and decrease posts_per_page’=>15 Number of forum topics you can change under forum settings on wp dashboard.
Thank you for your support; I was able to make the needed changes.
Regarding showing related posts (or topic) in forum topics; I’m surprised to hear it’s not possible. There has to be a way to accomplish this, even if it means using a plugin. But thanks anyway.
I’d like to bring a bug to your attention. It has to do with the activity page on both mobile and desktop site. When members try to comment on an activity (e.g: http://www.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com/1/members/colin/activity/66/); the comment box shifts all the way to the right and is not visible nor possible to write a comment.
Are you aware of this?
Another issue is that, some members are having problems with their password. Even after requesting password reset, the problem still persists.
I checked via WP admin – one of the users account having password problem; and I noticed that there is some type of password in the password field. I cleared the password and hit save, but the hidden password (...............) dotted sign is still there no matter what I do.
I hope I explained the issues properly. Looking forward to your correspondence. Thanks

It was fixed within the last varsion of theme. You can open css/responsive.css file, remove everything and paste it http://www.demo2.diaboliquedesign.com/1/wp-content/themes/CommunityJunction/css/responsive.css

Do you have the same problem with other themes? It doesn’t look like a theme issue.
Hi,
I’m getting errors in forum post. Is this a theme issue or BuddyPress?
Forum topic links are saying: “Programming Error – Missing Title” when shared to facebook.
Hi,
Check it under default WP theme.
It’s the same with default theme.
I did a Google search for the error message, and see other WP sites experiencing the same: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=programming+error+missing+title
It’s like many are yet to experience the issue, as there’s no solutions yet to be published online on fixing it.
I can’t publish or share any more post due to this. Pls do you have any idea on how to fix this?
What plugin for sharing posts on facebook do you use?
If you mean autoposting on facebook; I don’t use any WP plugin for that. I use twitterfeed – http://twitterfeed.com/
If you mean WP plugin for facebook share buttons, I use Super Socializer: https://wordpress.org/plugins/super-socializer/
Thank for your assistance on this.
There can be a bug of Super Socializer plugin.
I doubt it’s Super Socializer plugin because blog posts have social sharing buttons too and no issues like “PROGRAMMING ERROR – MISSING TITLE”.
I think the issue is with BBPress or BuddyPress. BBPress appears to be the real culprit of this bug.
AddThis plugin is not the same like Super Socializer. If you are saying the same problem is with other themes then it’s a bug of Super Socializer.
But how can you say it’s a bug of Super Socializer when I’ve disabled the plugin and the bug is still there?
I think its a bug with BB Press or Facebook itself. I disabled every plugin except BB Press and BuddyPress, and the bug is still there. I don’t know what else to do at this time.
Also, users are complaining to me that they are receiving email notice that they requested a password change, but that they didn’t request such. What is going on lately?
Also, you released a new update, but the changelog is still the same. What is the update about?
I just realized that each time I make changes to user accounts such as upgrading or downgrading their roles; wordpress automatically modifies their password and sends out “Notice of Password Change” to the user’s email address.
Are you aware of this bug? I don’t think I will ever use wordpress to build a community ever again.

E-mails are not send my theme so it’s not a theme issue.

I think it’s for security reasons, probably you will find a plugin which will disable this function.

I answered this earlier, when I told you:

I never say it’s a theme issue, but maybe BB Press, BuddyPress or WP issue. I was hoping you have experience with this sort of bug and can suggest a fix.
You didn’t answer this my other question:
Also, you released a new update, but the changelog is still the same. What is the update about?
I just tested Super Socializer on my test site with few pages and there is no problem.

There was a tiny improvement of rtmedia, bp docs and buddydrive style.

Hi,
I’m trying to place ad code immediately after the end of blog post and before the share buttons, but I can’t seem to get it. Can you tell me what line to place the ad code after? Thanks
Hi,
Paste code before: AddThis Button BEGIN
Hi, your theme is great, CONGRATS!
One question: the automatic emails that the theme sends come from the main email associated with the hosting account (for instance, when a person signs up, they get an email to verify that they indeed want to sign up; and then the admin gets an email with a new user registration). How can I change that email address so that the emails come from the email associated with the domain of the website and not the hosting account? Thanks!
Hi,
Fo to WP dashboard -> Settings -> General and E-mail Address
