I just got this Theme and everything looks great but is there any way that to have a full width masonry Photo Gallery.
I would like to display extra images at the bottom of each portfolio page but I need a photo gallery. Also have a Photo Album that I can display it in masonry style in one page.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!

Hey – as of now you can only use a masonry display when using the portfolio element, the image gallery element can use any of the portfolio styles except that option unfortunately
How do I setup a more practical paginng navigation when viewing categories that have a few pages worth of content?
Right now there is just a forward/back button but what I really need is the more universal Pagwe 1, 2, 3 etc with the forwards back buttons either side.

Because there’s no known bug where the pagination page numbers won’t display when the option for them is active I would need to log in to your setup to check on things. Please let me know your ticket ID if you have one open

AMAZING theme. This is my second purchase (now working on a client’s website) and I couldn’t be happier!
I have a few questions. I’ve been troubleshooting on my own (the comments thread is super helpful!), but can’t quite figure out these issues.
1. Linking to project category: I have icons on the home page that each link to their project category (http://URL/project-type/category-name). The issue I’m having is that one of the categories has 18 portfolio items. It’s displaying on two pages, and not on one. In the Portfolio settings, I have number of items per page set to 24, and have disabled pagination. I’m not having any issues on the portfolio page that displays all items, just when I link to a category item. Also, how can I change the header of the separate categories (I want it to be #ffffff instead of #f1f1f1).
2. Is there a way to add a drop shadow when hovering over the image links on the home page?
3. Nectar Slider: I’m having issues with the slider height — the left and right side of the image is getting cut off when the browser window size is reduced. When I set the slider height to the actual height of the image (844px), the sides are cut off. With a bit of trial and error, inputing 600px rather than the actual slider height seems to work ok (but not exact). The bigger issue is when I resize the browser window, the slider gets cut off on each side. Am I missing something here? I’ve experimented with all the different settings and can’t quite seem to figure this out. And I’m scratching my head as to why the image doesn’t fit perfectly when I input 844 height. Full width seems to work ok, but that’s not the look I’m going for…

1. Can you verify that you have a higher number of posts set in settings > reading?
2. Add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:

3. Have you tried setting the flexible height option on as well?

Yes, I have tried to check and uncheck the flexible height option. I’m still having an issue with this… Whenever the browser window is resized, or I’m on a responsive device, the slider gets cut off, rather than resizes. And as I said in my previous post, inputing the actual height of the image results in the sides of the image being cut off. Any ideas?
Also, is there a way to change the background colour of the header in the separate portfolio categories from #f1f1f1 to #ffffff?

Sharing (social) accent color broken – it inherits the page bg color rendering the icons nearly invisible. confirmed on 3 separate instals
i’ve fixed this on one install by overriding the color but that same trick is not working on other installs…

I made my banner in photoshop with the text included (and arranged the way I want), but when I upload it to the nectar slider, the text is cut off or misplaced (depending on which monitor I view it on). Is there anyway the banner can be viewed the same way it was designed in photoshop? I want it to look the same on all monitors.

You’ll need to use the flexible height option in your slider in order to keep the slider the same aspect ratio regardless of the monitor size

How do I make just the Home page header transparent?
When I turn on “Use Transparent Header When Applicable?” under Header settings it turns transparency on for all pages. I see that I can turn it off for individual pages in the “Page Header Settings” section of each page, but I don’t want to have to turn it off for all our pages except the home page.
Is there an easier way to do this?

Unfortunately it would require modding to the functions.php in regards – essentially you’d have to stop the transparent check from occurring on any page but the home

Hi guys, I just updated the Theme to the new version that have the VisualComposer plugin but everytime I Activate it, everything crash untill I manually delete it from my Wp Plugin Folder. I’m on a WIN server

Hey – that’s a function used in the default version of VC as well and should be enabled on your server in regular setups. Try reaching out to them in regards and ask them to ensure this is active: http://php.net/manual/en/mbstring.installation.php

Loving the theme, very flexible! I was wondering maybe you can point to the correct direction – is there any way to show portfolio items in 1 column? Currently, the options are 3, 4 and “full-width”. The use case would be a page layout that has 3 columns and one of those columns would about 10 portfolio items.

I’m using a custom font that is very small so I’m needing to make the font size greater than 110px which is the most the admin panel allows. Is there a way I can increase the options that the admin panel shows?
Also, I have made the header transparent, but I’m wondering if there is a way I can make the sub menu transparent?

Hi, I set nectar slider height to 80% in the css and then I created a text row that fill the remaining 20% of the viewport. But it remains a black empty space between them. How can I remove it? If you want to take a look this is the link http://test.bocanegrastudio.com/. I’d like to use the percentage value and not pixels because it is the only way to have the maximum control in all devices. Is there a way to force it? Thanks a lot

Hey – sorry for the invalid snippet based on your setup but in order for this to work you’d need to turn off the parallax effect on your slider. If you want to keep it on I’d suggest removing the snippet altogether and using the flexible height option which would yield a similar result

1. The last ecommerce based update added a bunch of functionality – but thanks for the requests, it will still continue to grow as times goes on
2. That’s an option available in your WooCommerce tab within the Salient options panel – if you don’t see it you most likely are running an older version of the theme
3. That’s “Lato” in the heaviest weight

1.) I’ve noticed abug in Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.17728. It is installed on a Lenovo Laptop. The Fade Animation of my Gallery (Flexslider option on top of the Portfolio Page) does not work. Fade in works, but then it’s like on mobiles without any animation. The Nectar Slider instead (Home) works fine.

1.) it’s Windows 8.1 (64bit) on a Lenovo Z70. IE 10 on other Windows 7 64bit machines is working well. And also Nectar Slider doesn’t have any fade problems (IE 10 + IE 11)

Quick question – when clicking on the buttons on the home page (the 3 in the boxes) they just redirect back to home page regardless of what page i set in the options. Is that a permalink issue or? Can’t seem to figure it out.

Hello, this is looking like a theme we can ‘trust’ for our project but having never used any themes with the Visual Composer I have some questions and concerns…
We will be creating a custom post type with custom taxonomies and custom fields using the ACF plugin, so we are wondering how this will work with your theme and the Visual Composer?
Will it be able to ‘read’ these custom types, tags and fields?
Or is the VC only for pages and not posts?

VC by default allows you to define what post types it’s enabled for within its options – you could indeed activate it for a custom one you may create
