I got this code off an eirier post you put up to someone else to remove the magnifying glass from the portfolio. Can you make this work on gallery as well somehow? it’s only working on portfolio currently.

that worked! Thanks;) now we need to figure out what the issue is with /#prettybox showing up in the url after the pretty box has been closed. makes the site a little strange to navigate when you try to go back a step while using the site. Have you looked into that?

I don’t have a option for different headers besides the three that are in there already. I could see about getting something like that added, there are just so many sliders be hard to include them all.

I have purchased your theme and have a couple issues please advise. When I create a new page section it doesn’t publish nor allow me to preview a draft even after it has been saved and published. Also I am feeling frustrated as simple customization seems to be rather cumbersome even for my friend who is a developer!

I don’t see a site at that url , not sure if you’re in maintenance mode, or url is wrong.
This is really simple set up, you just create a page section, go to your menu page and add it to your menu and it displays on the front of the site. Then when you preview it from the editor page it takes you to that section on the front page.
Not sure if you found the documentation, this is located inside the file you downloaded from Themeforest. It has all kinds of details on setting up and importing sample data which would give you the layout of my preview and you can edit from there. This is a great starting point for most.

Hi, two more questions about the blog part: 1) is it possible to show only the latest 2 or 3 blog post, and make a link underneath to go to the full blog on a new page? 2) is it possible to hide the right side bar? normally there’s an option on the right side when you edit a page, can’t find it. thanks again! wouter

Hi! Thanks for the great theme. One small question, which I can’t figure out from the last comment pages (there should be a better way to search through comments i suppose…):
The social network buttons do not align correctly on the site I’m building. They align to the right and the Contact Info is displaying through the icon. Is it btw possible to open the link in a new page? (can i put target=”_blank” in the link?)

Are you talking about the header? If so you just add the links in the link field of the flexslider header option for each slide you want linked.

No, everything will be the same except for the extra features get added.
The link field was made active in 2.2 for both flext slider header and full screen slider header.

I just put those together in photoshop. There are tons of great icons available on the web. You can also check out iconfinder.com which has a big selection.

Question… how do I add a page section to the menu? in the documentation there appears to be a ‘box’ allowing a user to select which page section to add to the menu. I only see the usual Pages / Custom / Categories boxes.

On your menu page in the far top right corner, click the “Screen Options” and put a check next to “Page Sections” and it will show up.

I have purchased this theme and really am enjoying it, now that I have cleared the learning curve, however, I am a bit confused as to why the parallax images are split in the middle, instead of as they should be. Furthermore, when I click on the “logo home” the page loads fine but when you enter the url it loads all goofy with the images (using chrome). I load it in IE and the images appear tiled. Ideas? Work arounds? Trouble shoot?

The file that you downloaded from Themeforest, you need to unzip that file. Inside that file upload the file called ninezeroseven_v2.2.zip to your Wordpress.

If you are on version 2.1+ of the theme it has that option in the Theme Options. Go to Theme Options > Portfolio Options and select to display 3 rows, then save theme options.
If you’re on a earlier version you can do the below.
1- Go the Theme Options > General Settings In the “Tracking Code” box, paste the below code.

Hello, Sure there are plugins for the music files, like if you want soundcloud or something.
It comes with translation files, so you can translate into your desired language.
Not sure what you mean by download files from the web.

When you say that it comes with a translation files, does it means that I can have in the menu the option to have it in English – Spanish – Italian; or just that the page would be translated.
