Have questions, before I purchase the theme:
1. Can the user submit a topic and attach pictures / videos on it without going to the wordpress admin panel?
2. If they can, are there any set limits on the number of attachments and their sizes?
3. Is there a built-in photo gallery plugin to view those pictures?

1) Not by default. You’ll need to use the BuddyPress and Sitewide Activity Plus plugins which allows users to posts comment/status updates and attach media. This is not full front-end posting though, you’ll need to use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-user-frontend/ for that.
2) It depends on the plugin, but I don’t know the answer to that.
3) The theme comes with a lightbox gallery feature and supports the standard [gallery] shortcode.
Hello, love the theme, but can’t seem to get the slider to scroll automatically from slide to slide. Can’t find any settings to control this either. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Yes the theme is SEO friendly.
No you do not need to bug any plugins. The theme obviously uses the BuddyPress plugin for the social features but this is free.

If you use the BuddyPress plugin that allows members to send messages to each other and they can upload videos via their status updates using the BuddyPress Activity Plus plugin but there’s no admin approval as far as I know.

I’m wanting users to be able to search for other users based on their profile information etc

1) Buddy is not a WooCommerce theme, so it doesn’t have custom WooCommerce styling however it definitely works with the theme.
2) You can have a full width page, left or right sidebar page or two sidebar page. You cannot have two sidebars on the same side though such as two right sidebars.
upgrade to the latest version, click on the permanent link of single activity , lead to profile page, not opening the single post of activity..

Only when he group admin posts an update it is submitted. The member has the permission to post updates. I also dectivated all plugins but this ha d ni success, too..

Thanks for the prompt response. Another question: Can the right sidebar and left sidebar be customized for specific Buddypress tabs? In other words, can I make one set of widgets appear when the ‘Activity’ tab is selected and a different set of widgets appear when the ‘Members’ tab is selected?
There’s no option for this in the theme – you may be able to do this with a plugin such as http://wordpress.org/plugins/display-widgets/.
i am thinking of buying this theme.. is it possible to turn off the slider (so it does not load at all, not just hiding it with css)?
I want to use revolution slider, layer slider or master slider instead as they offer more advanced configurations (i already own the plugins).

Yes, the slider is inserted into any page using a shortcode. Simply remove the [slider] shortcode if you’re using the demo content or do not insert it in the first place.
Any of the those sliders should work with the theme.

Sorry for the delay in my reply, I have been on holiday from April 10th to April April 20th.
The search widget is a native WordPress widget and does not search groups. You will need to use a search script or plugin to do with. You will also need to use a plugin to login via FaceBook or Twitter e.g. https://wordpress.org/plugins/oa-social-login/
