Category List view Single Column – I just upgraded my captiva and now I can’t assign my default list view for woocommerce categories to only 1 column. Before the update 1 was an option, now it starts with 2. Is there any way to override that?

I’m not sure what specific theme feature you’re referring to. Nothing in relation to Category views has changed in the theme in several years.

Now map on contact page is not working anymore.

Hi guys. I am really enjoying using your theme on my online store. If you don’t mind I just want to make a suggestion for future releases/versions of the theme. Can you please consider adding a TECH SPECS pdf download on the product page for each product? Much like your SIZE GUIDE link but obviously different for each product.

Thanks for the feedback. Rather than adding that to the theme, there are probably third part WooCommerce extensions that can do something like that.

It would be worth getting in touch with the Woo guys directly and they’ll point you in the right direction.

Hi, can it be that woocommerce does not work properly in the latest version? For example, you can not remove items in your shopping cart. Is this a known problem?

WooCommerce works perfectly fine with the latest version of Captiva – no known issues.

If you’ve any caching plugins active or have any host based caching active try deactivating it and see if that fixes it – it sounds like that’s the issue.

Hi Guys.

After successfully updating my theme, I am now getting this message:

The following plugin needs to be updated to its latest version to ensure maximum compatibility with this theme: Layer Slider.

I have version 5.6.9 layer slider on my site and I see the latest is now 6.1.0

I can’t find the Layer Slider zip file in your theme update files I downloaded.

Hi there,

simply deactivate Layer Slider and then go to Appearance -> Install plugins and click then update under Layer Slider.

Remember to reactivate Layer Slider after you complete the update.

Yes, there’s a Catalog mode which removes the purchase buttons. Captiva Theme Options > WooCommerce General Settings. If it’s enabled it removes the buttons.

If you need us to log in to your site and look closer at any issue you’ll need to renew support.

There’s no easy way of doing it right now via theme options I’m afraid. What I would do is use a child theme and modify page.php to remove references to “skrollable”

You may also need to do the same in page-full-width.php too.

Hi, purchased this theme with a different account, but hopefull you can still help me. I’m having some problems with these two grey lines beneath the menu (see http://nl.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=303b6ew&s=9 ). How can I remove them? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi Andrew

It’s a menu item. Appearance > Menus – change the menu dropdown to ‘Top Menu’ – you can edit it there. Remove the old Contact Link and add the new one.

Hi dear. I’m sorry but after a lot of search, I have some questions. Firstly, i would like to say you thank you for your work about this template!! But i would like to install the new update without loose all my change about the template. How i can do it?

Secondly, i would like to put social logos at the footer like on your preview.

Third, how to change change the translate on the popup when i switch the mouse on the shopping bag? it’s about add to card and the checkout.

Again, i would like to removed the line :”sort by default, the grid and list choose and the “show the 5 results? on the “boutique” page.

Too, I would like to put the button and the number of product just under the price.

Lastly, i would like to know how to change the size of each banners or blocks on the responsive template?

Hi Captiva, in our eCom built with Captiva and WooCommerce, the “Sort by Price” button doesn’t work: http://www.strikecalzature.it/shop/?orderby=price We tried to ask to YITH support (the company with several premium plugins on our site) but for them the problem is related to the theme and woocommerce. Via console i can’t see particular errors, every price is inside every variation so.. can you help us? Best regards, Michele

The sort by price shouldn’t be affected at all by the theme as it’s not something the theme generates – it’s generated by WooCommerce. You can confirm this by switching to one of the default WP themes and seeing if the issue persists.

The theme IS optimized. Your pingom evaluation is misplaced. Our theme demos are not optimized as they are completely uncached to allow for our theme live demo customizer work.

Second if you evaluate the actual results of the pingdom test you’ll see all the issues are pretty much not things you do with the theme – but with WordPress, server setup and WordPress plugins.

It’s possible to get Pingdom scores of 90+ with pretty much any theme if you know what you’re doing.

Despite the notice, you do not need to enter a key for LayerSlider. We purchase an extended license for the plugin on your behalf. You can safely ignore this message. We periodically update the plugin when new versions are made available and once we’ve tested them to make sure they work well with the theme.
