Hello, for a website of a client of mine I’m using version 3.0.7 of theme Codeus. I see that version 3.2. is available. Can I update the theme files without losing any settings and without having problems in layout?

My client upgraded to the latest version but I noticed that the visual composer does not integrate with the old content. Everything remains in the page content area. Pages done with the previous version can not be opened with the VC front-end editor. Is there a fix or do all pages need to be rebuilt?

The theme was purchased by my client. I don’t have access to support. This is a general enquiry to see whether it’s worth the hassle of getting support access. If the answer is that pages need to be rebuild with visual composer, no point going to support.
Hi, in general all pages built without vc will be opened in VC without any problems. However, to make it work properly it is recommended to rebuilt the pages using vc rows and vc columns

I don’t understand how this theme has high-rating. The portfolio theme never works. Also, the support team will never reply to you about the theme issue. I’m going to ask a refund.
I ended up hiring a freelancer to fix the issue. I still don’t recommend people to buy this theme. There are reasons. 1) You have to spend more money installing WPML. 2) I posted a ticket in their support forum. However, they haven’t replied to me for 5 days. (which means they don’t care!)

This theme is great but we’ve had an issue with the shop not displaying properly for a while now. Drop down menus not working, product images not displaying and items which are in stock showing as out of stock. All of these issues are fixed when you disable the woo commerce custom skin which comes with the theme. We’ve been trying to communicate with the author via the support page but responses have been very slow. Quite disappointed. Hope this issue gets resolved quickly.
In case anyone is else is having this issue it seems to be out of date woocommerce files which is the issue. We updated these manually and it seems to have fixed most of the issues. The styling of the shop is still messy but we’re going to fix that ourselves too.

And now I find that the WordPress gallery doesn’t work on the theme. It forces it to user your gallery which only seems to display a carousel slider.
How can i disable your gallery and use the inbuilt wordpress one
For anyone else struggling with this open up the shortcodes.php and delete all lines referencing the gallery and you can get back the built in wordpress gallery
Hi, I would like to use the theme for one of my project, but at first I have a question. There is a usual problem with WordPress themes font using. We have some special characters like ??úóí, in “Windows-1250 Central European” character encoding – these characters usually not present in the templates, so its renders them with the default font… Can I avoid this problem with codeus theme? Perhaps I am going to use google fonts. Thank you for your help!

Hi guys, quick question (have no time to use support website). I set up a frontpage of my website (wineguard.ca) as a woocommerce shop page but can’t find how to activate page title there. When I remove this page from Settings>Reading>Front page I see title but not when the page is frontpage. Please help.

Hi. by default wordpress doesnt show titles on the homepage – front page . WP recommends (https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_title#Covering_Homepage) to use following code:
