is there no way to update the theme from “Theme Options”? Every time i will have to reinstall the theme? We are adding a lot of custom css as well and if the theme in uninstall the coding will also go i guess. Please suggest

Pre-Sales: We’ve had numerous issues with compatibility, upgrades, and speed running other sites built with Visual Composer. Is this plugin required for Codeus? And, have you all done any Page Speed testing with this theme?

Hi, I downloaded the latest Codeus version (from my Envato Downloads) and uploaded the new theme version to my site in order to update visual composer- but my Visual Composer is still out of date? And I cant seem to find the visual composer plug in the theme file contents?

I am having trouble with the page templates that use rounded images. I am using visual composer. I see this line of code in the text block for round images, but I am not sure what to do with it?

Where does the image go?

Also, I can’t seem to get my navigation to move down to be inline with my logo? It seems too high.. www.lolpools.com

We’ve been using your theme for about a year now, and we have enjoyed it. We just purchased this plugin (http://codecanyon.net/item/before-after-image-slider-for-visual-composer/9978381), which should be compatible with Visual Composer, but for some reason, we can’t get it to work with this theme. We’ve downloaded the most recent version of the theme, but that did not resolve our issue.

Can you please shed some light on why this is happening and what we can do to fix it? We would really like to use this plugin.

I’ve created all the Sets and applied them to the portfolio items both in the Sets on the right hand side of admin page and in the Additional Portfolio Sets on the page. Also Activate Filter is ticked.

For example I have applied the Health Set to 3 portfolio items, 1 is on the first page, 2 are on page 2.

While i’m on page 1 the filter brings up one portfolio item and when I click page 2 it shows all items again. If I stay on page 2 and click Health once more, the other two items appear but I would have expected the whole 3 items to appear when I click on Health the first time..

Am I doing something wrong? Is there something else I need to do?

I have a PHP/JS form that we are trying to use on a page in our site. However, whenever we do this, there is a faint blue boarder around the form at some aspects. It shows up around a few of the cells and make the entire form look very unprofessional. This doesn’t happen with other themes so I imagine it is part of the theme (it’s a same faint blue background in our top slider). Is this normal? Is there a way to eliminate this?

I have a couple of questions:

1. I am concerned that my website doesn’t seem to take up a the full width when projected on a large screen. It seems the slider is extending to the full width but the template is cut short and thus the slider is getting cut off. I thought the theme was responsive.

2. I notice there has been an update to the theme released on July 18th which was not made unaware of even though I have selected inform me of updates. Can you please instruct me as to how perform the update?

Re: Required fields in contact form

It has just come to our attention that the contact form on our site (built with the Codeus them) actually only requires that the email address and message fields are truly required for the form to be submitted even though the text “(required)” is included in the form field labels. I need to add real validation to the other fields that say they are required. I’ve looked in page_contact.php, but I don’t see where the validation actually occurs in order to modify it. Can you point me in the right direction please.

Hello I am having an issue installing the following plugins: LayerSlider WP & WPBakery Visual Composer. I hit install and the screen goes to a page that ask for my ftp info, I input the correct info but it says there is an error.

Is there a way that I could manually install the plugins. Could you email me the files.

I get an Error notice that says: ERROR: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.

Hello, I changed the theme layout to fullwidth and now trying to change it back to boxed layout . When I go to theme option it looks like it’s changed but when I open my website it’s still fullwidth. Can you help. Thanks

I’m having a difficult time figuring out how to place the image over the ‘overview’ in a portfolio as you have demonstrated on http://codex-themes.com/codeus/ in the ‘Our Case Studies / Portfolio’ section. I’ve tried the featured image option and it just replaces the words, and I’ve tried matching it up with a gallery. Could you please point me to the part of documentation where this is handled or provide a better description as I’m not able to find anything in the documentation so far.

We are having an issue with this theme and Visual Composer. Specifically, the visual composer backend, shortcodes, and buttons.

We have looked into your demo site, and it now takes you to Scalia, not Codeus. If you are no longer supporting Codeus, can you please let us know, and send us the Scalia theme.
