Hello,
I am required to change the theme name shown in the code for css and various things (aloelectro).
What is the best way to change it without completely breaking the theme?

Hi, step 1: You change name in 2 path below: app\design\frontend\aloelectro
skin\frontend\aloelectro
Step 2: You login admin and go to System > Configuration > Design > Package > Current Package Name > Change to new package.

I think I did it 
just wanted to confirm it will not break anything.
Changed the directory names in app/design/frontend from demo2 to final
changed the directory name in skin/frontend from demo2 to final
and changed the theme name in the configuration in magento to final and everything shows up as it should.
Wanted to just make sure this wouldn’t break anything before I commit

I want to remove company, address, City, state, zip code and email from guest checkout page. After order, my operators will call the customers, and ask them above information by telephone. If you want, you can help us to automatically write any character to above fields and hide them. My operators will edit these fields from admin panel. These wills is only about Guest Checkout.

Hi, I’m not sure you can hide it because some field is require, you can use extension onepagecheckout here http://www.onestepcheckout.com/?aid=986 for custom field.

I think the script written in this theme changes product pictures’ size to 240×220 pixel. If resolution is not compatible it gives white border to the picture.
Q1) I want to change 240×220 pixel to 240×360. All of my pictures are compatible for the 240×360 resolution.
Q2) I want to remove NEW and SALE icons from “product-item-info” class.
Q3) I want to remove SKU from “product-item-info” class.
How Can I change them?

I’m downloading the latest magento install after the latest security update and i’m having trouble installing the theme properly. I’ve installed it properly before a few times during tests and development.
After installing the theme on the latest 1.9.3 available at magento’s website – everything works and is smooth until I get to the MagicSlider edit page.
I get the following error: Fatal error: Call to a member function setUrl() on null in /home/nicemena/public_html/app/code/local/Magiccart/Magicslider/Block/Adminhtml/Magicslider/Edit/Tab/Gallery.php on line 29
Its the same on the category add and edit page.

Thanks, that worked but now when I try to create a product – I select “default” and “Simple Product” and it leads me to a broken page. This is the URL: domain.com/admin/catalog_product/new/set/4/type/simple/key/9555c45b9fe0a629ff946d0ecfe36ebb/
The page loads without anything except for the search fields from the product listing page.

I found what broke it.
Just did some testing and its the Patch – 1.9.0.x that breaks the theme. Realized I had 1.9.3 installed.

Can your electro magento theme have few features as in electro wordpress theme as listed below:
Accessories (product add on grouping) and specification (table) in product landing page is present in wocommerce electro but not in magento electro
Special offer countdown product in wocommerce homepage has progress bar of product sold (already sold / available) but not available in elctro magento theme
As in electro shop page extended grid view and list view small are also present but in magento theme they ae not there
can abovesaid 3 features be arranged in magento theme as would prefer magento theme for my e-commerce project

I’m interested in purchasing this theme for Magento 2. Does this theme come with it’s own blog for Magento 2 or does it require an added extension? I’ve bought one theme already for Magento 2 only to find out they created a fake blog page and the theme actually didn’t have a blog it requires a $349 extension to have a blog.
