Hi there,
No we don’t – our templates use our own builder called Variant.
Thanks, Craig
hello there, the variant html builder is not working. its not loading for me, do you know when it will be back up?
Hi, can you please explain what you are experiencing? Have you tried a different browser? we recommend Google Chrome for Variant Builder. If you would like, you can open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com and we’ll be able to diagnose properly for you what is happening on your machine.

Hi I need your help before buying need to ask few question I am unable to place image over image in your page builder. For exmple I want to place a background image and then image above that in the middle then text around the image how can I do that without coding ?
Let me explain hole working how I want.
In revolution slider you can work in layers right ? I want like that as many layers as I want I can add image over image and text and I want to place where ever I want by controlling arrow keys then want to export as html website/page is this possible in your product ?
Hi there,
No – the slider does not work using a layered system like revolution slider, to achieve that you’d need to do it by adding your own custom HTML once you’ve exported from our builder.
Thanks, Craig
A simple presale question: this does come with the music template that I see here?
http://foundry.mediumra.re/home-music.htmlAnd I will be able to load my own photos, Soundcloud and video? That’s all I really want to do.
Hi there, Yes it does come with that template – you can embed your own media from Soundcloud by using an <iframe> embed that you can copy from your Soundcloud page.
Cheers, Craig
Awesome, thanks!
Hi,
Is there a basic tutorial about how to to get started with this item for someone who is a beginner to web design?
Thank you
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
Did you check out the documentation that comes with the template download? There is documentation for both the template and the builder which should help you get up and running with the basics.
Cheers, Craig
I did, it mentions opening the builder.html file in my web browser, but I don’t see any “builder” HTML file within the downloaded contents. Is there a youtube video or anything that’s clearly explains this for someone who is almost completely new to web design?
I purchased the 6 month “support” package. How can I take advantage of this to get quicker customer service for my questions?
Thanks
You can open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com to get the conversation started and we’ll endeavour to help you with whatever we can.
The builder.html file is in the variant folder, which you will see when you unzip the package. To open it, just right click and select “open with” and choose Chrome or Firefox (for best results).
any update coming soon?
Hi there, We are always open to suggestions on improving our items. If you have any feedback, we’d be glad to hear it.

Can I published this web and template into my own web hosting? If yes, what are the server/web hosting requirements?
Hi,
Yes, the intention is that you make a single site per single licence purchased. You simply need a basic web server, and if you plan on using the mail forms, you need a server which supports php. I’ve used site5.com and never had an issue. They are also very affordable and offer unlimited plans.

Hi, purchased theme a while ago, but seems to be missing from downloads – I need to download again as the mail/mail.php file is missing from my install?
Sorry, but your account is not showing as having purchased Foundry and it sounds like you might have mistakenly downloaded from an illegal source – which does not include mail.php. The mail.php file is never accidentally or otherwise omitted from our offical Themeforest downloads as they are built automatically.
Perhaps after you purchased, you were issued a refund? That’s the only explanation I can think of that would remove Foundry from your downloads.

I’m new to website building, and HTML is a bit of a foreign language to me. I have created a site on the variant builder which I really dig, and my domain is linked with a web host (cPanel) ready for me to upload the html files of my site within File Manager. I saved the site I had made with variant builder as an html file, and then renamed the html file as index.html so that it could be the main page of my website. But what files do I need to upload to my public_html folder within cPanel to launch the site? I have read that the entire downloaded Foundry 1.9.9 folder minus the variant builder must be uploaded along with my site’s specific html code from the builder, but when I zip those files together and upload them to cPanel, my domain still says that the website is under construction. What part of the website files upload am I missing to launch my site, or do the files need to be in any specific order? Thanks for your help!
It sounds like everything is OK up until the uploading.
When you are uploading, are you then unzipping the files at the other end (on the server) ?
The files do need to be unzipped and reside in the public_html (or similar) folder.
No order is necessary. Just unzipping on the server I think will work – or you can use a transfer program such as an FTP app which will let you copy the files over without zipping them files to begin with.
I think everything should have uploaded correctly. Everything was unzipped and taken out of folders, but I’m still getting a website that looks far worse than what I see on the variant page builder… No images show up, and the fonts are different with text not centered, etc. This is what the website looks like right now. What did I miss? Thanks so much for your help!
http://www.lukewestermeyer.com/The js folder seems to be missing or could be in the wrong place. I’m noticing none of the scripts are running.
Hi,
Do you have one page examples? Is there a class to have mobile menu / header fixed?
Thanks
Hey there,
You can override this in your custom.css file using a media query.
Cheers, Craig
Hi,
Is there a way to display image titles in gallery (for thumbnails and full-size)?
Regards, Mark
Hi there,
Yes you can add a “title” attribute to the element like so:
a title=”My Title” href=”full-size-image.jpg” data-lightbox”
Thanks for your help!
Regards, Mark
No worries Mark
Hi,
one mor thing, how can I enable titles to appear below images in gallery thumbnail view: http://granitgarden.pl/foundry-gallery.jpg?
Regards, Mark
Hi Mark,
You could do this by adding a element below the element in the element.
Hi,
I tried but it did not work. Could you please send me exact code of element?
Regards, Mark
Please open a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com and we’ll pick up the conversation there.

Hi,
I tried building a page using ‘Full Screen’ Page, with “Large Centered Nav” with “transparent” options, and with this the mobile view is breaking, there is overlay text up on the menu. How do i fix this?
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing Foundry!

Can I purchase all the themes and combine into 1 project so everything is consolidated and shared across all the themes?
Hi, sorry but no, the themes vary quite significantly so the CSS styling can’t be ported from one to the other.
great theme…. I have a questions, how do you delete sections? I have tried and tried and I can only delete content or do a delete all…
im using the demo
Hi there,
Hover on the section title in the sidebar and click the red ‘x’ icon
hi – pre-purchase question – woudl I be able to link to specific tabs? and do you offer full width pages?
Foundry’s pages are restricted at a particular width to keep the design coherent. If you need further width then you might need another template. You can of course make a change with CSS but we don’t recommend it for design reasons.
Hi! is it possible to place the toggle of the offscreen navigation on the LEFT side of the screen? thanks!
Hi there,
Yes, you can add a rule to custom.css which sets the .mobile-toggle to ‘left: 0; ’ instead of ‘right: 0; ‘
Thanks, Craig
thanks Craig. You aaaaaalmost told me how to do. So close, so far. (that didnt help me by the way)
Switch the class on the mobile-toggle from ‘right’ to ‘left’ and then change the div housing the logo from module left to module right
Hi, is there in your plans to make the builder updathe the live website? That would be great!
Hi there,
No not at this stage – this would require the builder to run live on a PHP server and would remove much of the convenience of running the builder locally.
Thanks, Craig
