Sorry, but our parallax cannot be replicated from desktop to mobile due to the nature of mobile browsers – hence why it is disabled when viewing on a mobile. Apologies for the inconvenience.

You can run the builder locally from your machine – no need to use the online version once you’ve purchased. You can make as many drafts/ designs as you like as long as you purchase the necessary licenses if you end up using Foundry for multiple projects.

Hi guys! Thank you for this gem! I have a question: “HTML5 Video Slider” only seems to let me upload my own video in Safari. I tried to Edit Video Source in Chrome and Mozila by changing the file name, but it doesn’t do anything. It refreshes, but displays the original video. Can you please let me know what I am doing wrong? Thank You!

Please check which video is referenced in your HTML. Is your video referenced as MP4, WEBM and OGV? You may find that each browser requires one of these different formats, and you will need to re-encode the video for it to show in each browser.

Hi Medium Rare! I bought this theme a few days ago and I’m very glad I did. You did a wonderful job.
There is one thing I didn’t work out yet. When I’m linking to in-page anchors from the navigation (or anywhere else in the page), the transition is instant. In your demo pages, there are links that go to anchors with a smooth scroll. How to imitate this behavior?

Hi guys, looks like the template works great. I just can’t find out how to create a proper video background. I got a row and a ‘Video Background’-block loading a youtube video – but the video isn’t full height and width of the row. What am i doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi, Love this theme and the variant builder, I’m just wondering though why is developer tools showing me my static site which I created with foundry/variant is trying to load googleads and instream?
Are you embedding a Youtube video? We have had other users report that embedding Youtube causes these requests to be made, which are beyond our control.

But when I publish, it shows up just one picture on top of the other. Totally weird. Not sure if I have to something something with my provider or activate something for it to work or if it’s just some error maybe? I didn’t change anything to the code. To navigate links on a one-page style, just make the links href point to the ‘id’ of the location on the page eg: href=”#section-2” then give the link the class ‘inner-link’.

Hello, I have started using the builder and initially once I edited the image I could pick an image from the library. I placed the images in the folder and it worked. However, now, every time I want to edit an image the library is displaying as empty. I tried reuploading images but it doesn’t work.

Hi, Safari does not offer the download page function so we cannot make use of that. You can retrieve the HTML for your site (page by page) through the “Get Source” window.
We created a manual workaround to retrieve the .variant file from Safari, which you can then use to import all of your work into another browser to continue your work if you like.
