You can use the primary colour for buttons by adding the btn-primary class, then add btn-primary-1 to the other button and in custom.css:

.btn-primary-1{ background: ####; border-color: ####; }

where you choose your own colour.

Unfortunately Twitter have removed the option to add widgets on your account and have instead opted to only allow users to embed a Twitter-styled widget to the page. For now this is the only way to use the Twitter feed.

The new version of Foundry which will be released today will have a fix for the twitter problem. James

For the time being – Foundry comes with the LESS files, so you do have the option to build new colour schemes, etc with a preprocessor. We don’t have any immediate plans to port the style to SASS.

Blending the CSS from Pivot and Foundry will not be easy, and unfortunately this is not something we support.

1. The Variant builder produces HTML – so there is no integration with any CMS, that would be done by choice of the developer.

2. Yes, there is support for both MailChimp and Campaign Monitor subscription forms

3. Yes, you can set a timer to show the modal, have the modal display when a user scrolls to a point on the page, or show a modal when the user’s mouse exits the page – or naturally, when they click a certain element as a trigger

2: No, only MailChimp and CM are supported “out of the box” but someone with intermediate skills could adapt for aweber.

3: All of those settings are controlled in HTML using data attributes – please check the docs at foundry.mediumra.re/docs/foundry_docs/index.html

Any text editor can be used to edit the html generated by Variant. We use Sublime Text.

Using the @font-face rule is a good start, you’ll need to ensure you’re correctly referencing the font and you’ll be able to see if the font is being correctly referenced by inspecting the page and checking that the font file (otf) is being loaded into the page.

The Ticksy issue is now resolved – you should be able to open a ticket now if you’d like to open a ticket with a link to your site.

I’m on your support ticket site now and its telling me the purchase code that I am copy and pasting directly from the document is wrong…. Now what?

Here is what I tried to submit in the ticket:

Please review the link to your own demo. Notice that on the “Intro Sections” the slide with the golden gate bridge and the text in the bottom left corner with the social icons, it is not responsive. Once brought down to the mobile size, it messes up. Is there any way to fix this as it is creating issues on my test site.

Our test site is set up at: www.musiccityfirecompany.us The home page I am using the code from the above mentioned section along with the Video BG. Its fine in all sizes until mobile where the jpg is very small and the text goes missing or only shows some of it and overlays the Logo.

You can click “Show” next to the trash bin, then your deleted items will appear. Click the item you want to bring back. Then click Show again to un-show the deleted items.

this only shows deleted pages – yes? so if I delete a button from a page and then want it back, is this possible?

Yes, the show trash option applies only to items which have been previously deleted from the current page. They are recoverable by showing trash.
