Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
Would you mind opening a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com with a link to your site so we can take a closer look at what might be going on?
Thanks, Craig
Hello Does this support multilingual websites especially Right to Left
Unfortunately, RTL is not implemented at this time.

Hi, We will be releasing an update late next week which will add Variant features such as custom meta in page head and custom scripts in the foot for analytics etc.

Hi there, I just love your theme. Very well designed and with a lot of different customisations. It’s perfect for us.
Do we have to install the Variant Page Builder? Or we just need to edit the css and the html files. We prefer not to install the VPB and work as a normal Html site.
How about the languages? We need to develop a site with 2 different languages. It is possible.
Thank you! All the best Miguel
Hi,
There is no need to install anything with Variant Page Builder – Variant is a builder that runs locally on your own machine and generates HTML pages that you can then edit with a text editor afterwards if you want.
To build a site with two languages, you can put the pages for each language in a subfolder and link between the two folders in your nav bar.

Thank you James. Kind regards
No worries
Hello, please, how to position the background image in the center bottom? (and also in the center top). I have tried a lot but no luck. thanks and great theme btw!
Hi there,
If you’d like to open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com we can provide you the CSS snippets required to position the background images in this way.
Thanks, Craig
submited. thanks
I’m starting to use variant builder and could be awesome if there’s an option to edit manually the html/css/js AND it keeps saved on the .variant files, so any future modification to a designed template will not break up by the manual modifications. Thanks.
Hi, this is also a highly requested feature and after much consideration, we are nearing a solution which will be implemented in an upcoming update to Variant.
Regards, James
I’m trying to setup the menus, but I don’t see the way to create 3 columns on the mega-menu (each one a vertical thread) or to move the position of the menu items. Thanks.
Hi, moving menu columns may not be possible, but you should be able to clone the outer list item to create another column.]

Hi , How would I hide the logo on mobile?
Hi,
You can add a class hidden-xs (needs to be done in HTML) to make it hidden on mobile.

Hi, is it possible to make the navbar with a smaller height after the page is scrolled? thanks
Hi there,
Yes you can hook on to the nav.fixed class to achieve this:
nav.fixed .nav-bar{ height: ##px; min-height; ##px; }
Cheers, Craig
hello. It seems that somehow some of my css of the custom.css document are working, but some are just being ignored. and that happened with no reason. I have it called properlly <link href=”css/custom.css” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” media=”all” />
What might be the issue? thanks
Hi there,
Would you mind opening a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com with your custom.css file attached so we can check that everything looks right?
Thanks, Craig
Hello,
You guys have made a great product and I can’t wait for the future as this product evolves even more.
I have changed the flickr username and group id and nothing is loading. Is there something I must do? Also, only your id’s work for Twitter, instagram, and flickr.
I got the flickr to work by making all my photos public. . the instagram I can’t get to work though in the bottom widget
Hi there,
Due to the recent Instagram API changes you’ll need to register your own API key and client access token. Here’s a guide that steps you through how to do this:https://github.com/adrianengine/jquery-spectragram/wiki/How-to-get-Instagram-API-access-token-and-fix-your-broken-feed

Twitter does not issue Widget ID’s anymore? Cannot use the Twitter module in builder. Help?
Hi There,
We are currently working on a solution to style a new twitter widget that will work in a similar way. For now, existing widget IDs appear to be working, but new widget cannot be created. Unfortunately this is out of our control and we’ll notify buyers when an update is ready.

Where do I find the builder.html?
Hi there,
Open builder.html from the variant folder in the download package.
Cheers, Craig
Ive downloaded the file and copied across to my domain, but how do you install it? nosh.catering

Guys, there seems to be something wrong with scripts.js tabs and product img sliders aren’t showing correctly as seen here — http://bit.ly/2aJ8iec Is there any update to fix this?
Cheers, Chris
Hi there,
Your page is not referencing the flexslider plugin, you’ll need to include that with the scripts at the bottom of the page (where all the other javascript plugins are referenced).
Cheers, Craig
The template looks very nice and useful to create HTML static pages. But I’m just wonder now about what can be the best way to integrate an e-shop feature/functionality without the need to use a CMS ? Is there any external service that is possible to use like the Flickr/Instagram/Twitter feeds? or by an i-frame? or.. what do you suggests to use for it ? Thanks
Hi there,
You might consider using something like the Stripe checkout feature to integrate a small payment service in: https://stripe.com/checkout though if you’re looking to manage a full e-commerce store you will still be better of using a full-blown CMS to manage the items.
Cheers, Craig
Absolutely love the work put into this. very detailed and overall great help. One quick question regarding the blog, in the example you show many different ones but in the variant builder i only see one option and trying to figure out how to make it so that i can keep making multiple ones. Did I miss something? i didn’t see it in the documentation unless you refer to it by a different name? Any help appreciated.
Hi, and thanks for purchasing
You are correct – not all blog page variations are available in Variant with Foundry. Given that Variant is not a full CMS solution (rather, a page builder and editor), we feel that the blog pages included in the package are best suited to those who will adapt the template to a blogging system or CMS, rather than edit their blog using Variant.
James
Hi Foundry Team,
i love your work, it is fantastic. There’s just one little thing: I tried to speed up smooth scrooling or deactivate it but then all the background images disappear. Please, let me know if there is any chance to get rid off smooth scrolling at all or speed it up so that long sites can be scrolled naturally, it really slows down scrolling which can be annyoing (and is uneccessary) on long pages.
Thx in advance
Christian
Hi, I have answered your ticket on ticksy – simply remove scroll-assist class from the opening body tag of your page.
James
Hi there, it seems that when cloning an image in the contained grid gapless module, for adding more images to the grid, the first image looses its title and category text, although the new one has the appropriate text fields (checking this on your demo site)
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’ll resolve this and release an update.
James
