I have a pre-purchase question: I like your theme a lot, however, my client requires quite a complicated website and therefore I would like to know, is it also possible to use your theme without switching the online shop on? (but it is good to have an option of an online shop for the future cases). Secondly, the theme has many different layouts but I would like to combine some features from one layout, some from another layout. Is it possible or can I only use the features that are listed in one layout.

By default our theme does not have .po file. It only have .pot file to support translate.
You can use Loco Translate plugin to translate text and save file to languages > themes as like screen shot, your file will keep after you disable Loco plugin and update theme.

Hey again, There’s also some other special behavior I’ve found. It just happens in Microsoft Edge (my version ist 40.15 …)
If I open the single product page without prebuilt browser cache, the gallery totally breaks (not every single time).

As I said it just happens to new page visitors without prebuilt browser cache. You can simulate this behavior in the Ikognito(private) tab.

Ok finally I’ve found it’s an edge bug: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/platform/issues/7778808/ It’s possible to avoid it by disabling the srcset on images.

Currently I’m trying to modify the gallery on the single product page…
But there is a horrible and annoying js hack, which breaks the gallery.
http://janstudio.net/gecko/fashion/product/blue-cotton-leggings/If I choose a color in the dropdown it works perfectly fine. But when I hover on the image the wrong one gets displayed in the zoom window. This is because you haven’t updated the zoom container.
Also when I slide forward and then back again the wrong image is getting displayed. This is because you’ve just hacked the image via javascript, which is a really bad approach. Now the slider breaks, because you do not trigger it on image changes.
Is there any fix for this?

Hey, No sry it’s currently not possible, because we purchased it on the companies account. WP Admin is also not possible.
But you don’t need it. Just follow the link above and do the following steps:
1. Switch the color in the dropdown 2. Hover over the Image to get the zoom effect -> now you can see the zoom is working but on a totally different image
You can also see the preview image and the product image are not the same. Because you haven’t triggered the slider… The image is just a JS hack

So I upgraded the theme. And I see the zoom image was fixed, but just with hacking the image url via JS to the zoom container. But the problem is still there. The slider breaks…
Look at the Image in the preview and the image in the thumbnail below. They are different. If you slide around you will see it.
So I really can’t send you my informations. I can just tell you I’m using v 1.4.3 . But you just have to upgrade your dev environment and you will see the bug.
My question: Do you see the problem? You have to trigger the slider if you change the preview image. For now you’re just overwriting the elements image which is the wrong approach. Something like this:
jQuery( ’.slideshow’ ).slickGoTo( parseInt(slideIndex) );

I know this is the old version of the theme, but the issues is the same in the new one. Just compare the active preview image (small image) and the big product image. They are different. Hope this helps.

When you select an image via dropdown the slider should be triggered. And not just overwriting the first slide via JavaScript.

I’ve recently updated to the latest version of the theme (1.4.4) But it seems the bug is still there. I saw your approach to fix it. I think it’s not possible to fix it in the assets. The problem comes from the ”/core/libraries/vendors/openswatch/templates” file. Generally it would be a good approach to use Hooks in the whole theme instead of hardcoding things. If you use them the developers would be able to overwrite your stuff correctly. Anyways, I see you’re triggering slick to always go on the first slide on line 191. In my oppinion this should be much more dynamic. So if I select “Proudct 3” it should trigger the slider dynamically to slide to the index where the image of “Product 3” is. And not just overwriting an existing product. Otherwise a developer is not able to work with it. Because if I know trigger slick correctly there will be wrong images in the markup.
