hi,
couple of things i want to ask
1. when listing events in grid i notice that it is not responsive on mobile. the columns are really narrow and do not show in 100% width like items grid does
2. is it possible to add fields to the add event page., i would like to make kind off a fiverr where registered people can make jobs with a price with events but would be nice to add maybe like in item a slideshow with images and addvideo
3. There is a big round profile image when logged in on the top left corner. How can i add picture there. I added already featured image and profile pic in my profile but do not see that image changing

As you may know, it’s a directory theme. we added woocommerce / custom design for a service. this theme is compatible with only default woocommerce plugin and not sure about other 3rd plugins.

I want to create a directory especially for travel (with listings of travel blogs, travels agencies, hotels, restaurants…), something like this actually : http://www.traveltourismdirectory.info/
I’m actually bothered by the fact your theme seems convenient only for listings of businesses (hotels, restaurants, buildings…), but not for actual websites like blogs… (a guy who is travelling around the world will not be able to indicate his location on the map).
So is it convenient for regular blogs too ?

I am not really sure how you will organize the travel information with maps. however it’s basically for posting directory items (listings). you may need to see our demo sites for the details and see if it’s fix to your project before you purchase. as you may know this is a template theme. we don’t provide private customization. you may need to hire someone.

Thanks for your reply. I don’t know if I explained correctly, sorry. I actually want to create an oldschool directory, such as www.dmoz.org or www.traveltourismdirectory.info, to let people submit their website (travel guide, travel agency, restaurant…) with a link to their website with the anchor of their choice, because that’s what directories have always been about (SEO purpose).
Your theme is awesome, but I just want to make sure I can do that.

Thank you for the details. however I am not 100% sure if our theme is all fit to your project or same as the sites. (I never used them). however this theme is for a directory to post companies, locations, some information by categories/locations. I believe it should be fine. however, please have a look at our demo sites for the details if it’s fit to your project.

Thank you, if it’s possible to deactivate geolocation for some categories that should be fine… Also, can I organize the directory with these categories : - Top categories : countries (China, Thailand…) - Sub categories : businesses (hotels, travel agencies…)

the tax (=taxonomies) are like this..
Location tax : China, Tailand
Category tax : businesses, hotels,agencies
or
Category tax : businesses,
Sub category tax : hotels,agencies
Our theme is based on wordpress taxonomies. it’s same as wordpress any theme taxonomies. please check it out.
this url structure is not provided by our theme. www.example.com/asia/china/restaurant/ wordpress has a little different way to have a permalink. please check it out wordpress permalink. if you want to make a different way, you may need to find “rewrite role plugin”.
the links will be improved in the future. but slug name instead of category id.

Me again! I’m starting a new directory website and as I said I found Javo the best. Your fast updates make it better. I have to choose between Javo and 1 other. I opened “Next Version Update Plan” link but it needs purchase code.
1. Can you let me know which features you have in plan and when exactly it will be released?
2. I’m a designer and maybe I can handle RTL support but I believe what you do on your product of course will be much pro and perfectly clean. Do you support RTL in next version? If no, how hard can it be to modify myself?

Our developers are handling some issues for next update. we may notice the list when it’s ready.
We may work on it in the future. but not on next update. next update would be a maintenance update. I heard it’s possible to use a tool to make RTL but we have not tested yet.

I would like to know if it possible to LINK to images displayed on a listing rather than having to upload them to host them on my own server?
Where the DETAIL IMAGES area is – it would be nice to have a field where I can put in an image’s URL to link to it.
I think it’s a good idea to have this option so that 100s or 1000s of images don’t have to be hosted by us – but instead can hotlinked to the images on the businesses website. Saves a lot of time having to save images, and then upload them to our server to host the image.
Is this possible?

Pre-Purchase Question (just to get sure):
I want to create a website directory, so no need of google maps at all. As far as I understand and I see it on your Demo (Food with Image) I can create CATEGORIES with an image header AND I can create Items with an image header?
I struggle right now with another directory script that supports only google maps and no images so want to change it and yours looks great.
How far can I edit the layout and fields of the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION and CONTACT area?
Like adding more social contact informations etc.
One last question, after claiming an Item, how much of the informations can a user edit? Different fields for different membership packages?
Isn’t really clear for me on your Info Page.

Yes you can create item list pages with images. however all of items are related (connected) with google map. please make sure if it’s fit to your project before you purchase. (we don’t want you to purchase a wrong one )
We have custom fields option and there are check, radio, dropdown, text, textarea. it shows on “additional information”. but there is no option for linking field yet.
After claiming the user can edit most of information. there is no different membership packages for editing options.

Hi Javothemes, first of all, excellent work this theme. i have small issue with IE. can you please give me advice how to solve it? On the item page the ‘About Us’ box next to Location, Events etc is white in Internet Explorer but in Firefox it is Blue.

Unfortunately it’s not for property theme or site. there is no categories for property such as amenities. I am not sure how other theme post-type or tax. but it mostly different.
if you want to use our theme as your project, you can do. but please have a look at our demo for all of functionality before you purchase. we don’t provide customization for your project.
There is a field to add email address. then you can add yours not the owner of listers.

MailChimp is one of very popular email system. I believe that you can import or export your address. I think it’s good to use. we only worked on mailchimp compatibility. if you have others, you can try to use them.
