If you have a child theme, you just need to replace new version of theme. if you need tutorial how to child theme, please see this post on our knowledgebase. ( http://javothemes.com/forum/knowledgebase/changing-some-fixed-words-with-child-theme/ ) you can create style.css on child theme. if you modified a lot or some core codes, you need to see our change log and modify them.

hey,
first, love the theme and your support as well!!! would be cool to have a radius search. e.g. like cityname/zip with an radius from 25KM
that would be very helpful for search in the map but also for the attached section.
Because I offer a country wide service, but people just interested in services from the region where they living… So first they could enter the place where they from, then the radius (standard 25KM) and just see the service or categories offered from the region where they live…
looking forward to get feedback. would do a extra payment for this function if needed…

After new update site not work, no connection with database. You still worse.

I have been telling you many times to post your issues on our support site. not here. it’s “Pre sale questions” place. however we have not got any database connection bug reports so far. it could be some missing issue. if you keep complaining without posting support site, please do not update new version. just keep the old version. it’s still enough to use without new feature.

PMPro is for membership. you can make some payment packages. free to some amount price for posting. if you are not willing to charge, you don’t need. the payment has recurring and more payment gateways (not only paypal). we had our own payment system however it was not easy to keep adding other gateways. therefore we made compatibility and added our options. 1)Can you ask on the next version your dev to add an option to remove the circle on individual items showing who published it
2) Can you ask also to give us a way to use the location tag in combination with category tag like in map-wide but i want to use it on homepage with the javo option categorie
3) to disable user from posting comments or posting items to have the choice of what the user do just simple configuration but it avoid css coding for every simple change
4) also to give the option to show the list in list not in grid if we wanted to

really fast lol I am doing very good and Javo is really important part of my future business but you need to ask the dev to add more options in the panel to give more flexibility
For instance if i do not use event I do not want to see the circle , same if i do not want to use rating
Also the tabs need more flexibility like i can use it for what i want if i want to use rating i enable rating in the tab
last one you need to add one more logo to the page and i suggest you create a tab logo and put all the logo from Javo to be changed :
javo-directory/assets/images/javo-directory-logo-v1-3.png is not in the theme option so everytime we replace Javo with new feature we need to reupload the log can you please put it in parameters in theme option this is the logo on individual page
i see you are making lots of progress and everybody use the them in a different way that is why option flexibility will satisfy everybody
I do not want to code the child them all the time
also i do not know what to do sometime

Hi, great theme, thanks for making it. I’ve spot a couple of small bugs: 1) In the box view the address gets listed when you click an icon on the map, however, on the wide view it doesn’t get shown, could you possibly add that?
And 2) The opening hours details had a couple of spelling mistakes, “aditional” instead of additional” and it says “Tue” instead of “Thu.” Thanks again.

1. you can create more text, dropdowns, textarea, check, radio boxes. however we have not added link text fields. I have talked to our developers and they are working on it. if you need to customize them, we can only help to provide the file names.
2. Do you mean email to the owner of the listings? yes it is.
3. I am not sure what you mean but it seems to be little advanced options which we don’t have.

Is it possible (with some manipulation) to only have fixed width and different heights on images in the grid. (on the listing page http://javothemes.com/directory/item-listing/)
I would prefer to show the grid in Masonry grid layout, since we have a lot of mixed portrait and landscape images. With this layout, portrait images don’t really work. (I would drop the slidshow function for this feature).

Yes Rob,
Classic Pinterest style is good (with some css styling). Now we can’t really use the theme, since we need to show both type of images.
I would love to have the map and search function with a wider Pinterest style grind under, also with infinite scroll.
While we are at Pinterest, I would also love to show the items in the same type of modal/lightbox style as Pinterest (with permalink just as they have). So you don’t have to go back, just click outside the frame to see the grid again.
I think both features would make a lot of sense for your theme. No1 to solve different images sizes, No2 would make a great user experience for clicking through all the searched/selected Items. (Back buttons are a bit enjoying if you are going through a lot of Items).

If you see “location” on item pages, it goes to the owner of listings. there are also contact forms on maps and it goes to the owners.

I really like the look of the theme and it offers features the other directory templates do not. It also looks and works great on a mobile phone. Well done!
I need to get started on a directory site and I would love to buy your theme. However, the lack of a monthly payment option is really a problem for me. I want businesses to be able to add or claim listings and then choose a monthly or annual payment. The monthly payment would be done by Paypal automatically, every month until the business decides to remove the listing.
At this stage I know you have plans to include this… but realistically, how much longer do you think it will take? 1 month, 3 months, 1 year? Its very important for my decision to buy your theme. If not then i’ll probably have to buy Atlas or similar. I would prefer to buy your theme though.
Please answer honestly and truthfully.
Has any of your purchasers found a way to use a plugin to handle monthly payments?

Hi, I am trying to set-up the package page and insert the shortcode for it. I am unable to find it. In VC I use the Payment Plan but it does not look the same as on your Demo page, under New Shortcodes. I would like it to look the same, with blue letters and looks much better. can you advise on this please Rob?
