Do you mean the new updates do automatically? No it is not. you have to do. but it’s not that difficult. I will post a video soon. very simple to do. it’s all wordpress themes, plugins are same.

As you know, we have free installation service and one of them has godaddy hosting. we had a problem to upload our theme on the server. We had to remove “godaddy default plugins” and succeed to upload and setup. I don’t know if it will be working for you. but it worked with this way for us.

So I’m starting to put together the website and a couple quick comments:
1) The standard separator widget with VC does not work. It just plugs in the VC short code on the front end.
2) The registration/login. OMG!!! It’s terrible! LOL. I tried to plug it into a 1/3 section of a row (not knowing what the end results would look like). It completely broke the row. Why do you have a massive login/registration widget with 4 tabs? lol. Maybe you guys have different plans or I’m not doing something right on my end, but wow! lol. Something clean and compact would be preferred. Two small tabs – one login and one for register. Ability to switch tab positions would be good. The forgot password could easily be a small link below (which is what most sites do) and a pop up to reset. No need for the contact section on that widget as everyone has a contact page or info in the footer. Just some feedback for you
3) The search bar – the only widget to place the search bar included that slider you built. Would be much better with just the search bar on it’s own with the option to place a background image, rev slider or your slider.
Other than that it’s rock solid so far. Very impressed! I’ll shoot you an email with some custom work that I’m after.

2) The register/login panel is designed for only full-width. not 1/3 section. I don’t know it depends on how you use. some people think it’s good to use. you can add some information if needs. we will see what we can do for it
3) we will add it little later. not too far.

Something is wrong now… I installed theme and everything works well fromo one week ago until today… but now, the site works, wordpress works, the theme works, but when i want to make some changes in the theme settings, no matter what section, the changes send me an error message “NO DATA RECEIVED”
All others sections, posts, pages, works well and allow me to make changes, is just the theme wich are no allowed it.
I delete and re-installed the theme twice I re-installed wordpress as well
Some other advice ?

Yes you can customize this theme. our theme is based on wordpress codex coding and bootstrap layout. I believe that you have changed some php coding which loads posts or custom post-type. however, all of customization are up to you have to solve. Please create a ticket on our support site. we will see if we can help this issue.

Hi again Rob, and thanks so much for answering my previous questions. Unfortunately I have a few more.
1. I’ve been poking around a bit trying to find out everything I can about the theme, and I came across this reply to a comment:
“This theme is working well with visual composer and it’s included (no need to purchase ) you can add banners on any page except templates. “
Which pages are templates exactly? I depend on quite a bit of income from Adsense (unfortunately) so I’d want to know that I’d be able to continue posting ads where I need them.
2. How customizable are the Item and Event Pages as far as Visual Composer goes? Do all items have to have the same page format or can you create templates in VC?
3. Event Listings on the Item Pages. How is that handled? Just wondering if the example on this page: http://themeforest.net/item/javo-directory-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/8390513 is the only way to list them, or if it’s possible for item event listings to look more like they do here: http://themeforest.net/item/javo-directory-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/8390513
I am so excited about this theme!! I just wish I could see more of or get my hands on the backend to see if it’ll do enough of what I need it to do without major changes.

1. That’s also good question. we have a few templates and we leave them as customizable pages. blogs, 2 maps, item-list and my pages are templates. we may need to talk to our buyers where we add banners. I meant when you create pages, it is free to add images and banners.
2. Event pages, items are not related with VC. it’s all fixed same page. it’s not with VC now. let us see what we can do.
3. your links are all same to our demo front page basically, event pages are also templates. it was not easy to make separated. I guess not only our theme. it may take time to make them work with VC.

I’m sad to hear Item pages aren’t related with VC . Looking at them, I actually thought that was how they were built. Seems like they’re perfect for it?
I’m a copy and paste “coder” for the most most part so I really don’t understand all the complexities, but I envisioned all the info in the Item Page tabs (Reviews, Location, About Us) as being VC Elements you could add to a page through VC?
So you could add a tabs element via VC, and then select a Content Element to go where you want it to go? That would offer a ton of flexibility in an area where people might want a little more customization.
Again, I have NO idea what’s involved in developing this, it’s just the way I had envisioned the page worked when I first looked at it.
That is the ONLY thing holding me back now. If I could customize Item Pages with VC, I wouldn’t think twice about purchasing the theme,.
Everything else is PERFECT.

Hi! I have a question regarding the Search Result Page, does it have to be one of the two map(wide) and map(boxed)-pages? It can’t be the Listing with maps page? I am missing the search function in the two map-pages which is sad… Also; in what coding files are the coding for; “Keywords” (search box on homepage), “Search” (Listing with maps-page)? I can’t translate them it seems with the Localization-plugin? Can I change them manually? Also I can’t translate “Locations” in the search box on the home page. Please help with this! Thank you, loving the theme and WP bakery integration rocks my Planet. 1) I need a custom fields Manager that allows fot Items to define custom type Fields, Seperators, Headings. etc. Those fields should reflect in the Users edit options..but i take thats a given. Please advise if this is planned or do we need to dust develop this. I already bought, I really need this feature urgently. 2) Option To select which Filter options Apply to search i.e by location, search and some other options would be great to have by taxonomy, Field Type etc. Overall Awesome Thank you.
