I am using your theme for some time now, but due to the latest updates – I have a change in behavior regarding the search component. Could you tell me in which way does the search in the header work? Is it searching by tags; attributes; keywords…? Since now, whatever I write – I always get the same result, which is a list of all the products, regardless of whether the result is appropriate to the searched product or not. So basically, it means that no search is being conducted. Anyway you could help with this?

Hello,
By default, the search form on header looks for products by keywords. It will display products which have the keyword in product name or in product description. This is the default way WooCommerce looks for products. This theme just display the WooCommerce’s search form on header. If you want to customize it, you may need to install an additional plugin. This theme was designed in the full-width layout and all product layouts are displayed very well in this mode. Therefore, it is complex to make product page displays in the boxed layout. We have to test it carefully. I can be done in some product layout only if it is possible. We can’t make sure it is possible or not, but we will try to test it and include it in a future update.

You can use the header builder to build your own header layout. Then you can add more icons to your header as you wish. But this theme doesn’t support the account icon at this moment, we will add an icon for it in the future update.

Good morning, I’m using your Konte theme and I created my site with home page version 7 (like this: https://konte.uix.store/home-v7/)
I noticed a strange behavior: if I’m on any page of the site, when I do a search, the search results are shown to me on the home page, under the whole banner area. You need to scroll down the page to see the search results.
The same thing happens on your demo: starting from the home v.7, if you try to search (with search at the top left), for example “belt”, the search results (2 products) are shown on the same page, but below all the 5 banners that are on the home page.The other version of the home page on the demo, instead, correctly lead to a “search results” page only.
How can I correct this behaviour?
I would like every search made from any page on the site (using the search at the top left), take the visitor to a results page and NOT to the home page, because otherwise the visitor does not understand that there has been a search, but he thinks he has returned to the home page.

Thank you very much for your feedback. By default, WooCommerce uses the shop page to display search results if you are looking for a product. With the home v7, we set the shop page as the homepage, therefore the search results are displayed on the homepage.
You can use this CSS to hide the top banners when the search results are displaying.

You can build a similar header layout like that. But this theme doesn’t support horizontal sub-menu. The scrolling text is not supported either.

The “Download” page is automatically generated by WooCommerce, you can’t edit it. This page is used to manage downloadable products which are purchased by a customer. To remove this page from the Account page, please remove the option “Downloads” in Account Endpoints options under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced.
