Have setup competency framework in Moodle. Am using the lambda theme that the client bought and forwarded it to us.
We are unable to apply the competency framework to a course and activity. Typically the competencies link comes under course administration but in lambda theme it is missing. Please help.

it seems that you are using an outdated theme version. So fortunately, your issue is quite easy to solve: You just have to update the theme. Please download the latest version again from ThemeForest. Inside this download package, you can find an installation folder for Moodle 3.9.

the only line which points to the theme folder and Lambda is regarding the block management and this is because of an error in the block_manager in one of the lines above. The “Capability “moodle/community:add” is not part of the theme, it belongs to the Moodle core. So I doubt that your issue is theme related. But you could try and temporarily switch to the default Moodle core themes “Classic” or “Boost” to see if there are any differences.
Please let me know if you are getting any different results with one of the Moodle core themes.

The theme follows all Moodle standards and so of course all core admin settings as well as the course management will work in the way you are used to.

You just have to choose the French language pack at the Moodle language settings and you’ll be fine: The theme uses the Moodle language files and also has an own French language file for the theme settings, so everything will be automatically displayed in your language.

of course I will keep Theme Lambda compatible with the upcoming Moodle versions. You can already use the current theme version for Moodle 3.9, but I recommend to wait until the next update is published. I will still have to do some tests to ensure a full compatibility, the update will be released within the next two days.

Hello I hope you are well. I am very interested in purchasing this theme for Moodle urgently. I have some basic questions:
1 – does the design cover the student and teacher areas too? (i.e. after logging in) or is that just what Moodle provides 2 – on the demo site is there a username and password for student and/or teacher to login to see what those look like? 3 – This is not directly related to you, but I was wondering if you know your moodle theme is compatible with Iomad? (https://www.iomad.org/)

Regarding Iomad: Iomad is based on Moodle, so it should be possible to install and use any Moodle theme, but I can’t give a guarantee that Lambda will be 100% compatible with all changes and additions for this LMS.
