The theme uses the Moodle language files. You just have to choose the Brazilian/Portuguese language pack at the Moodle language settings and you’ll be fine.

I don’t plan to provide any access data for the demo site. Every course is open for guest access, so you can get quite a good impression of how a course will look like for a student. The theme follows all Moodle standards and so of course all core admin settings as well as the course management will work in the way you are used to.

thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle. The course formats can indeed be switched via a dropdown selection field, then this certain format is automatically applied to the course.
It would be possible to use different main colours for different categories, but it will be necessary to use different cloned theme versions. If you decide to buy the theme, please open a ticket and of course I can guide you through this process.

Hi, interesting info on the course formats. We are a bit of beginners of Moodle and it all feels so cluttered – but we’re getting there – our theme is not. Can categories be listed in a grid and or have their own page header

the course categories cannot be displayed as a grid, only the list of courses (like http://lambda.redpithemes.com/course/index.php?categoryid=4). The reason for this is that Moodle does not offer the option of creating a picture for each category as it is the case for the courses.
You can however use the theme’s front page carousel to promote your course categories.

You definitely don’t need to be a programmer or coder to build your courses.
At the support center, you can find backup files for all courses that are shown at the demo site. So it is very easy to replicate them.
And it’s also no problem to start on the scratch: At “my” school, most teachers are also not familiar with HTML and CSS. But you don’t need to use any of the code snippets for the additional stylings elements that you can find in the documentation – you can create a visual appealing course completely without them. The theme applies some styles by default to the headings and sections of a course – and for most teachers at “my” school, this is sufficient. They use some images which they embed to the course, or perhaps a video or an audio file to enrich their courses.
I have to point out that the LMS Moodle requires a certain training period. But you can take a look at Theme Lambda’s reviews: I attach great importance to the costumer support and I spent much time to help my customers with all Moodle related problems. Satisfied clients are my best reference. So especially if you are new to Moodle this might be a great benefit.
