Hi, I’m interested in buying. Do you have a test user?

Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
Every course at the demo site is open for guest access, so you can get quite a good impression of how a course will look like. If you want to know more about the theme features and how the theme options are set up, you can take a look at the online documentation:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/index.html
The theme follows all Moodle standards and so all admin settings, activity modules like the quizzes and the course creation will work in the way you are used to.

Will there be an update to this theme for Moodle 3.5? I read that there is a major change in Bootstrap for this version.

Hi,
this change will only affect the Moodle core Boost theme. Theme Lambda will of course be fully compatible with Moodle 3.5.

Hi, I would like to know if you could show me a preview of the dashboard because With the guest mode, we are not able to try to.

If I have made customizations to the theme (e.g., custom CSS, etc.), will I lose those customizations if I upgrade to the newest version of Theme Lambda?

Hi,
well, that depends on how you have applied your customizations: I always recommend to apply any changes to the theme settings instead of modifying the theme’s core files. For your modifications you can add custom css rules directly at the theme’s settings panel: As an administrator go to “Administration” > “Site administration” > “Appearance” > “Themes” > “Theme Lambda” > “General”. There you can find the text field “Custom CSS”. All these settings are stored in the Moodle database and will remain also after an update.
But if you have modified the theme’s core files, you’ll have to backup the files which you have edited and manually restore your modifications after the update. That makes the update process much more complicated…

I have a question. I installed Lambda and it works perfectly. Congratulations. Now I have created a second course and I want to use Lambda too but with a different color scheme. I have two Lambda licenses, but I do not know how to set up a different color scheme in the second course.

Hi,
yes, that’s possible. But this is only a general comments section.

Kaspersky Anti virus block the website. Can i have the solution for this.

Hi,
I am not sure if I understood your concern correctly: Is your antivirus software blocking your own website? Can you still open the demo site here at themeforest?

Yes The kaspersky Antivirus block my website “www.taruvam.com”. and some times opera web browser also blocking. Its showing like html site without theme.

If your website is sometimes not loading correctly, then this is not a matter of the theme nor a matter of your AV software. You have to contact your hosting provider.

Pre purchase quetion. Is it possible to use this site like ixl.com Like functionalities like membership plans , for parent, child, inistitutes as well quetion nd answers like ixl.com

Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
I have to admit that I don’t know the features and functionalities that ixl.com offers.
Lambda is a theme for the learning management system Moodle. Moodle has a clear focus on educational purposes. It is used for blended learning, distance education, flipped classroom and other e-learning projects in schools, universities, workplaces and other sectors. With customizable management features, it is used to create private websites with online courses for educators and trainers to achieve learning goals. You can also offer paid contents and sell your courses and Moodle also offers the possibility to create a “Parent” role to watch and verify the learning progress of their children. So all of your requirements should be fulfilled.

Hi! Is there a way to add other google fonts? I need to use https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Signika. Thanks!

I was wondering if there was a place to hide site pages from the front page? ie. I’ve made site pages, but only want them to be accessed from the pull-down menus, not listed otherwise on the front page. I could do this in the css, but wonder if there’s a setting in the theme?

Hi,
yes, of course that’s possible. Did you already sign in at the support center?

There you can find an faq and a help article with detailed informations about how to add further content pages at your Moodle site. If you need any further help, please open a ticket at the support center.

Hi, When I have tried to upgrade my Moodle version from 3.1 to 3.4 (using the appropriate Lambda theme version) – The Lambda theme displays incorrectly.

(1) On the 3.4 Lambda theme there is a huge space that appears on the right hand side of the screen (this gives the appearance of the page being “cut in half”). + (2) The course completion checkboxes are all grey out.

Can you please explain why this is happening and what the solution is to this problem?

Hi,
these are no known issues with the theme. After an upgrade of your Moodle site, you always have to make sure that you are using the latest theme version and that you have uploaded the correct zip file for the theme which fits to your new Moodle version.
If this doesn’t help you, please send me an email at redpithemes[at]gmail.com together with the url to your site and the login credentials for a temporary admin access so that I can verify your installation.

Hey eva_pi in carousel no charge the pictures, only the first

Hi,
have you perhaps recently upgraded your Moodle installation? The issue which you describe might occur when you are using an older theme version which is not fully compatible with your current Moodle version. So this should be quite easy to solve: You just have to update the theme! :)

To update the theme, you have to download the new version at themeforest – just login there with your existing account and click on the “Downloads” tab.

The next steps depend on your Moodle version: If you are using Moodle 3.0 or any later version, you can update the theme just like a new installation: Go to “Administration” > “Site administration” > “Plugins” > “Install plugins” and upload the corresponding installation file for your Moodle version there – that’s all!

For an older Moodle version you need an ftp access to your Moodle installation – you can use an ftp client or perhaps your hosting service provides a control panel with a filemanager. You only have to upload the files from the new update to your theme folder and overwrite the existing files there – no need to temporarily switch to another theme or take down your site. When you log in again as an administrator, you will get a notification to start the update process in Moodle.

i can give you hosting on the server and you will have commision for that if you offering that with free installation of the script

Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
The installation process is very simple, you only have to drag&drop the corresponding folder to the Moodle plugin filepicker. There is no need to manually upload anything to your server.
You can take a look here at the theme’s online documentation:
http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/installing.html
And don’t worry: Of course I can help you with the installation if you are still facing any difficulties :)
