Alhumdulilah problem solved by adding html code in url link - target=”_blank”
Okay!
From my Admin login how can i edit the center area (welcome to…. and four boxes below welcome) that is below side show of home page.
Hi,
the contents which you can see at the demo site were added by using labels. So if you go back to your Moodle front page and turn editing on, you will see an “edit” button next to each label resource. At the theme’s documentation, you can find a section which shows how to adapt the contents: http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/adding_content.html
In my admin login, I can’t even see my home page. When I login through admin, it goes directly to dashboard with courses list in it. How to go to home page from admin login.
Yes, to modify the frontpage, you first have to return there. You should have the Moodle Navigation block at the dashboard. There you’ll find a link to “Site home” – that’s the frontpage.
The reason why I was not able to see Home page in through admin login is – “Site administration> Appearance> Navigation” here at “Default home page for users” it was set to “Dashboard”. If we change to “Site” then only we can see Home page else it will not show home page instead show dashboard page. Thank you for your support.
Please note that the “Default home page for users” setting does not only affect the admin login. Now all your users will start at the Moodle front page. I would recommend to use the dashboard as the landing page for your logged in users because that’s the best place for the course overview and the starting point to access the courses. So you might want to reconsider changing this setting option.
Cannot see Moodle Navigation block when login through admin login.

No, your solution doesn’t work. Please help in getting Moodle Navigation block at Lambda theme front/home page of admin.

Hi, I have a question about course format. The sections on topic ex) A Sample Course Section on page: http://lambda.redpithemes.com/course/view.php?id=4 can be separate page? Thanks
In other word, I love the course format which has all section on one page but, I want to get separate page link for each section.
Hi,
are you referring to the “Show only one section” setting option (like at this screenshot)? Yes, that’s of course possible. The “jump”-menu for the “one section” topics format however is by default hidden with Theme Lambda. I always had the impression that it doesn’t really belong to the pagination and you can still access all other topic sections via the Navigation block. But if you decide to buy the theme, just contact me again and I can guide you through the necessary steps to display this dropdown menu.
Thanks, it’s useful. I have concern about child theme. we need to do some customizing for the theme. is child theme coming together with package? if not Is it possible to create child theme and is it not too hard?
A child theme is not included in the package but of course it would be possible to create one. However, in most cases this won’t be necessary: I always recommend to apply any changes to the theme settings instead of modifying the theme’s core files. Lambda is a very customizable theme and you can add custom css, scripts and your own code directly at the setting options.
Hi eva_pi,
hope u re doing okay. I have an issue with courses layout and really no idea how to fix it. Despite of moving all blocks to left column the main section dosent expand properly and the right column stays empty (edition mode off).
I’ve read that it could be an issue inherited from essential theme but so far i couldnt find the solution.
Could you please give me a hand?
Greetings, 4aLifeTime
Hi,
this was indeed once an issue with an older theme version, perhaps you might still be using this outdated version. So for a first approach, I would recommend to update the theme and make sure that you are running the latest version.
If this doesn’t help you, please contact me again via the contact form at my profile page (you have to be logged in at themeforest to use the contact form): https://themeforest.net/user/eva_pi
Hi, Our team is considering to go with Lambda theme. But, I have a question before we decide. Is it possible one course has two course format then it can be switched by clicking button on interface from user?? Thanks.
Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
Unfortunately, however, such a feature is not possible. This is not a limitation of the theme, but the LMS Moodle does not allow users and students to switch between the course formats. Only course creators like teachers, managers or admins can change the format of a course since this may also affect the didactic implementation of a course.
I just updated to 3.5.1 and have had the Lambda theme for years. Now the slideshow transition shows the first image and does not show the next one. It just places the image icon at the top right corner. In fact, it shows only one image and does not show the rest. I have verified that the slash arguments are enabled. Please help.
Hi,
I have just responded to your support ticket.
Hello, I want to know if on the homepage I can see the list of categories and subcategories. Thank you very much!
Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle. It’s of course possible to show the categories and subcategories at the front page. You can use the Moodle core front page which allows you to display any combination of the following: news items, a list of courses, a list of enrolled courses, a list of course categories or a list of categories and courses.
Hello, can I get an identical copy of the DEMO version? Because I bought the theme and I’m having a bit of trouble getting the exact version of the demo version displayed. When configuring the template in my existing moodle. Missed the Slides and menus at the top of the page, missing all the blocks of the footer page, just like the last section Last Courses … Is there any easier procedure to get a page with the exact design of the Demo page?
You can see my results on https://forceclass-00.linuxforce.com.br

Hi eva_pi
I’m a teacher using Lambda in my University’s Moodle install. I’ve added a ‘course-pano wrapper’ to the top section of one of my Moodle courses and it looks great. But I really need to add a button to it too. Something like this:
Home
But doing this make the content in the wrapper too long for the height of it – the layout is all wrong at the bottom.
Is there a way I can override the height of the ‘course-pano wrapper’ for this one course? Or can you suggest another way of adding this HOme button to it that might work better?
Sorry I haven’t sent this question as a support ticket but I’m not the original purchaser of your theme at the University, just an end-user.
Any help you can offer will be much appreciated!

Hi There!
I had a problem with the custom CSS section, I can’t add more lines of CSS code because if I add one more, the theme literally colapsed and show me the elements by default not with the changes that I did in custom CSS. I tried to write some CSS on the style.css file, but didn’t show me the changes that I wrote.
Thanks
you can use as many rules as you need at the custom css settings, there is no limitation. So I assume that there is an error at your css code.
So please open a new ticket at the support center
https://redpithemes.ticksy.com
and send me your custom css. I will take a look at your modifications.

There is an error in the theme: Uncaught TypeError: jQuery.easing[jQuery.easing.def] is not a function
It hits a thousands of times. Started after I upgraded moodle from 3.3.2 to 3.5
It affects carousel tool
Hi,
this is no known issue with the theme. After an upgrade of your Moodle site, you always have to make sure that you are using the latest theme version and that you have uploaded the correct zip file for the theme which fits to your new Moodle version.
If this doesn’t help you, please send me an email at redpithemes[at]gmail.com together with the url to your site and the login credentials for a temporary admin access so that I can verify your installation.
Hi! I did exatly what you told me to do. Every thing gone all right! Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Hi, Just now we purchased this theme. Our moodle version is 2.9. How can we import demo content as in theme demo
Also how can we configure top navigation menus
Hi,
I have just responded to your support ticket.
I have embedded youtube videos and as you suggest I added . The thing is all videos are aligned left and I cannot align them center as I need. Could you please let me know the CSS changes I need to do to achieve that?
I have just sent you an email, please check your inbox at bullseye.com.uy
Hi,
I want to remove from my login page the forgot your password box.
Should I edit the file style.css or is there a better way of doing it?
Thanks
Hi,
I always recommend to apply any changes to the theme settings instead of modifying the theme’s core files. For your modifications you can add custom css rules directly at the theme’s settings panel: As an administrator go to “Administration” > “Site administration” > “Appearance” > “Themes” > “Theme Lambda” > “General”. There you can find the text field “Custom CSS”. If you’re updating the theme, all files (and with that all changes you’ve made there), will be overwritten. But the settings are stored in the Moodle database and will remain also after an update.
If you need any further help regarding this customization, please open a ticket at the support center: https://redpithemes.ticksy.com
Hi, our company is planning the deploy of your theme in a new moodle platform in Test / Production and high availability environment. Do you have a licensing scheme or buying one is enough? Look forward your answer, thanks!
Hi,
thank you for your interest in Theme Lambda for Moodle.
The regular license is for a single project, so it would also cover your test or development environment – but you can use it only once on a production site.
Please feel free to contact me again if you have any further questions.
Thanks! It is, indeed, a single site (a unique site)... what we have is a cloud environment with on-demand elastic deployment of new instances.
Yes, that should comply with the “regular license” here at themeforest!
Perfect, thanks!
Good night guys, after upgrade my site and lambda to moodle 3.5 i’ve got a undefined pop up that apppears randomly in the frontpage and courses.
I know i don’t have support because expired but i read that some other users have the same problem. Can you please help me or gimme a clue about this problem?
Thx!
there should definitely be no such popups at your site, but I doubt that this is theme related. You could try and temporarily switch to the default Moodle theme “Clean”, I assume that you will get the same error there. There are many topics regarding this issue at the official Moodle forums regarding this issue:
https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=366000
https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=364844
https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=348362
In each case, the issue with the popups were caused by a wrong setting at the core Moodle installation and/or the server.
Thanks guys, gonna check all that threads.
“The content on the frontpage was added with labels. In the theme’s documentation, you can find the section “Adding content” (http://redpithemes.com/Documentation/assets/adding_content.html ) where this is described in more detail.”
This is a description of adding content, it does not show where to go or what link to click on to start adding content. Again my apologies, but I am getting supremely frustrated
