thats really great theme and I am really looking forward to update by directory to this one.
Some questions though:
1 ) Is it possible to import or keep the old items from AIT BusinessFinder theme?
2 ) Does it support WPML? What do you suggest to set up a Right to Left site?
3 ) Does WooCommerce manage the subscriptions? Will it automatically remove the listing once the one year subscription is done?
4 ) Do you offer paid customizations?

Lovely theme! Few questions:
1. Is it possible to list a mix of both locations and people? We want to list professionals and businesses.
2. Is it possible to allow comments (without rating) but still keep a like system?

Great work!! I need to have following functionality for the classified website. Let me know if it is possible with this theme. I have access to developer so let me know if something is customizable easily with the theme by changing PHP code.
1. Sellers will be able to post in multiple categories for FREE. 2. Buyer will be able to search and view listing. 3. In order to contact the seller, buyer will have to click on ‘Contact Seller’ Button and then make payment. Upon payment, buyer will be able to contact the seller. Once payment has been made, then buyer and seller will receive each other’s email addresses via email. 4. Seller should also be able to deactivate an ad and then reactivate it later if s/he chooses to do so. 5. Would we be able to manage custom fields while listing the product from admin panel or it requires changing code manually?

1) Sellers/Vendors can add multiple listings if they want, and they can be added for free. If you’d like to have your users submit their free listings, do not install the WC Paid Listings plugin.
2) Buyers/visitors will be able to search and view all listings as seen in the demo: https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/
3) There isn’t anything like this built into the theme but I assume if you outline this workflow on your website, so that users understand the process, this is possible. All listings have a “contact” icon in the sidebar, under the listing owner’s information, seen here: http://cl.ly/image/143K1w2k1a2z
4) Promotions & Deals can be added with the WP Job Manager – Products plugin. This article has more information: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/480-linking-products

hello great work once again!
just a couple questions about the deal component.
1. Does the person listing the item have the ability to create the deal? or are they predefined deals created by the admin that they select from?
2. Is there a way to view listings that have deals only? or filter them up to the top of the results?

If I want to offer listings (everything) for free, does the user still have to “purchase” a free listing or can it just be submitted for moderation so it’s nice and simple?

Under the home page can I add a ‘Featured Listing’ section so that I can charge the businesses say monthly? Something similar to ‘Recent Listing’ shown in the home page.

There is an issue about the booking with Resurva here.
1. How do i put the booking button shown on the side of review for other’s listing? I couldn’t find any place to show the button.
2. Is it possible I can change the button “book with Resurva” to other plugin such as Opentable or Guestful?

Is it possible to create location based category pages for SEO/ advertising purposes. For example, if I wanted to create pages with a perm. URL for certain cities/ states i.e. Dallas, TX Spas sample URL spas.com/spas-dallas and it displayed the list result view of all of our spa category located in Dallas.
Is it also possible to put some sort of captcha on review form or require sign-in to prevent spam?

1) In the future you will have more control of pricing packages and what fields display on the submission form, example the free package does not display image upload, video upload, limit text that can be input in the fields etc, or your idea about adding some featured content to a free listing (coupon, video, etc.).
Today this is not a feature of the Listify theme, so what you want to do with Listify is not currently possible without first hiring a developer to add this feature.
I’ve added your suggestion to our internal ideas board for further discussion.
2) We are currently promoting Polylang (https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/) instead of WPML until the we can confirm that WP Job Manager is fully compatible with WPML.
3) This is a great idea and it’s something that we’ll add to our list of future enhancements.
4) You can be notified via email every time we update the theme. Updating the theme is as easily as installing it the first time.

I’d really like to see the inclusion of the Homepage Posts and Testimonials widgets from the Jobify theme. This themes a bit light on homepage features that way.

Any addresses will work with the theme. You can either manually add the listings yourself through the WP dashboard or, users can submit their listings to the site and with your approval, will be added. You can charge a fee for listings to be added or, users can add listings for free.

Integration with a plugin like Events Pro by Modern Tribe would be fantastic, particularly as they facilitate ticket sales via Woo Commerce.

Integration with an Events Plugin is planned, there are many options so we are currently evaluating the best plugin for the job, so far we like the look of Events Calendar by Modern Tribe as it integrates with WooCommerce for selling tickets. We will need to add some customize styling and it will be supported by Listify.
We are currently just working on the “kinks” if there are any before we start adding a ton of new features, we need to understand what customers are using Listify for and the types of features they need.

Nice theme, I have few prebuy questions: 1 Is there a widget “Deals&Promotions” to create a page filtered/filtrable by “Locations” ? ex Page Deals&Promotions for NewYork ? 1B I haven’t noticed “Featured Items” neither, is there a widget for that ? 2 I don’t see sidebars, is there a possibility to create page with it or by adding a plugin for that ? maybe it is in standard WP features ? 3 Is there a widget to insert text/photo/social network code on pages? or can we do that in standard WP “Edit page”? 4 with any of listed plugins for creating paid packages/listings, is there a possibility to make listings Free to post, but make paid package only for featured Items, Deals&Promotions ? Or may choose only between all paid, or all free ?

3) Each listing has a “Share” link at the top. And you can add your social networking links (which will be displayed as icons) in the sidebar in the widgetized areas of the theme.

This is quite simply the best theme I’ve ever purchased. And I’ve purchased quite a few in my time!!!
The integration with the various plugins is amazing. I for one am super happy that you haven’t tried to jam everything into the theme, but instead have relied on other robust platforms for the unbelievable functionality delivered. Rockstar effort.
While I can see some small tweaks for potential improvements, this is amazing.

I have this strange feeling with all these suggestions and comments and non-responsive to lots of valid questions an UPDATED THEME IS COMING REAL SOON… Looking forward to see what made the cut for features and updates!
These comments are all from the weekend. I manage all of the ThemeForest pre-sales comments. We haven’t used Userpro Integration on the theme but it should work as the theme uses all the latest standard coding practices for WordPress. We don’t plan on supporting the plugin.
