Was your reply to someone regarding WPML. So the theme does work perfectly with WPML but you recommend polylang instead?
Also, where is the user registration page on the demo? While I’m looking to have the ability for users to register and submit/purchase listings. I’m also looking for the ability for users to register for personal use accounts, so that they can “favorite” listings, claim coupons, write reviews, and be included in contests, mailing lists, etc.
We are currently promoting Polylang instead of WPML until the developer of WP Job Manager says that the plugin supports WPML, even though WPML says its a compatible plugin http://wpml.org/plugin/wp-job-manager/ the WP Job Manager plugin developer says its not fully compatible.

Ok thats fine, so long as I can create a multilingual website. What I really need to see though is the user registration pages and what the backend looks like. I am not able to login using the social login on the demo. I click the links but nothing happens.

I’m not sure what you mean, “does it auto generate the images?” Which images are you talking about? The map is displayed automatically once a listing owner enters their address.

I guess I should say the “Explore Your Community” Part. And one other question is related to Google Map Auto-Suggest you guys have on search bar – is this come with the theme? or what plugin do I need for that function?

Yes, the Google Map Auto-Suggest that is on the search bar, that is included in the theme files.
The Explore Your Community images are taken randomly from one of the listings, the images uploaded to the listings are then shown randomly for each city in the Explore Your Community widget section. http://listify.astoundify.com/article/267-homepage-image-grid

SUGGESTED FEATURE: - – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Although I know you provide a means for users to contact Paid Listings with a Form (three options) would it be possible to extend or develop a plugin for Messaging where Listings Members and Those Interested in Services Have means to contact each other back and forth in the system?
Additional, I attempted to create an account as a user who wanted to favorite a business and also post a review I am giving a Paid Listing Account! Is there a way to distinguishes the account type between personal and business listing. “Employee and Employer” ?
I would like to see as a feature Personal users being able to see Not just Bookmarks but review and messages they left a business listing. Are these possible and any plan for implementation?
Hey there,
There are no concrete plans for an integrated messaging system at the moment. There are existing solutions though plugins such as BuddyPress but the theme provides no direct integration with any.
There is no way to have different roles based on the package selected at this time, sorry.

I really like the look of your theme.
The fact that it uses some solid (well respected) plugins is great.
One small concern I have however, relates to the theme’s speed.

Is it possible to address these and other issues noted in the google page speed report?
Other than that, the theme looks great and seems to work really nicely.

Thanks for the heads up, we are continually working on improving the themes js, php code so that it loads fast, we already have an A+ Rating from Google Pagespeed, as shown below, but we will for sure be continuing to optimize the theme for speed.

Like the idea, and I did create a roadmap suggestion board on Trello, then a few people said, “not a good idea because people will just continue to wait for feature X instead of buying the theme now to support its development”

Well, it’s very difficult ( or impossible ) to make everybody happy, but at least you’ll maybe making happy some of your customers and future customers. Those who wait for a feature X, they have to know that you listen your customers, so, if it’s a solution that helps much people, you will implement it, but if the feature just helps this person, it’s normal not to implement it. For me, the roadmap suggestion has only good things, but haters are everywhere!

I need to know something important.
1. I want to create a website for performing artists where they can create personal profiles. They can post videos of themselves performing, etc.
2. I would like the site to have the function for users to create events. Does it have an event management capability?
Can this site do this or do I have to do coding, because I don’t know how to code.
1. You could customize the submission form to display fields that work for your target audience “performing artists” you can remove, add, change fields using the Field Editor plugin, the theme/plugin allows a person to add a URL to a video and it will be displayed on their listing page.
2. The theme does not yet support adding of events on the listing page, this will come in a future update of the theme. Hey, I’m interested in using this theme for an event listing website, but I just have a few quick questions.
1) In creating an event post, is there an ability to list the event provider (venue)? Theoretically, this would allow a user to view all of the events any particular provider offered – on a unique ‘venue’ page. This would ideally be separate from event categories.
2) If so, would it be possible to separate user reviews, one for any particular event, another for its venue.
3) With regards to the search bar on the homepage. Are the fields customizable? For example, could I choose to have only a box for an event name.

1. Listify does not have an event system built into the theme, the theme supports WooCommerce and listing owners can post deals, coupons, products, bookable products on their listing profile pages, events is not currently an option.
2. This is not currently possible.
3. You would need to customize the search fields on the home page using programming to make the changes.

Pre Sale Question. Hello, it seems a great theme and I like the way to use plugins for features. I need a biz listing with a job board, so I have to understand how you integrated wp job manager with listify. I need the plugin with full features, so I can use addons like resume manager. And I need biz listings. The first thing I think of, is that wp job manager registers job_listing custom post type (the same name of other job themes/plugins), so did you change it? How can I avoid issues? Can you provide some support, guide, tip to get job/resume CPTs provided by the plugin and biz listing CPT? Thanks!!!
We don’t recommend using Listify for a job board, we recommend using Jobify. Listify uses the same custom post type for listings.
We never intended a customer to use Listify to list jobs and listings.

Ok Adam, I know you made jobify for job boards, but I need both functionalities and I don’t want a multisite (listify+jobify). I posted my question after reading faqs and documentation, so I know what is not supported. I’m asking if you can give some tip to use that plugin the way it is supposed to work. I can’t see code, so I have to ask. I primarily have to set up a biz listing site (exactly like listify), that also supports job managing.
You didn’t think about a scenario like this, that’s ok, but you can talk about your implementation, because you know your code.
Anyway, a cpt for listing that creates no conflict with a job listing cpt is a so terrible idea?

I found a bug in the “claim listing” area on all of the listing pages. After I click “claim listing”, the form comes up and works great, but if I forget to fill in a field on the form and submit it, the form still disappears like it was successful. The only way I will know if I missed something is if I either clicked on “Claim Listing” again and it shows me in RED what I missed, or I knew that I was supposed to receive an email but it never came.
In other words, the form goes away before I know it was successfully submitted. I have to bring it back up again by clicking on the “claim listing” link on the page again.
We have developed an advanced “Claim A Listing” plugin / system, it will work along side WooCommerce so that a site owner can charge a fee to claim a listing. You can either charge a fee or allow claim a listing to be free.
This will be out shortly and we will update our theme demo to reflect the new system, we just need to do some final testing before the plugin is released.

Is there no way to adjust site so that the user profile is the paid subscription and what shows in maps/search? Along with that profile posts? And/or A way to limit the number of listings available to post based on subscription type?
