Hi,
I just purchased your theme and seemed to have lost one of the three input fields (keyword, location category) on the Search Your City page. Please help me get all three to show again. Thanks!
Bug fixed: Input field will not show without one of the listings having a category selected.
I was just going to reply and say that, but you beat me to it.
Don’t forget to read some of our documentation lots of answered questions, and we keep adding to it daily: http://listify.astoundify.com/

With demo loaded: Some buttons, such as bottom “create your account” don’t function correctly. They just redirect to the main page. Then from other pages redirect to the incorrect pages
Did you link them to the my account page so there user can create the account? http://listify.astoundify.com/article/246-changing-the-call-to-action
I successfully used WP CSV to import my listings for free. Download the free plugin, install it, then export your “listings” (dummy data) or any listing you have added yourself and then you’ll see the layout you need to have on your csv file. Add all of your listings to the csv and import it back into your WP CSV import area and you’re done!
Would you do a screencast showing the processing?
What would you like to see?
Perhaps you could help write a short tutorial detailing the process? so it will help other Listify theme owners. We can then add this to our documentation area, thoughts?

I just now sent you an email.
Thank!
Hello! Pre-sale question.
Using the demo account for test, it was not possible to set the address correctly, with details. Only the “city name”. This is a limitation of the “demo account’? I mean: can the user find and set the address correctly on the map (with latitude and longitude)? As you stll do not have a demo backend for visualization, can you show me an image with where this adjustment (address on map) is made, in the listing submission form?
Thanks in advance.
When you enter a verified address, using the Google Places API, the plugin will get the latitude and longitude from Google and then store that in the database, it can be edited by the user on the front end or in the backend.
Cheers! Adam
OK. But I think not all addresses are “verified addresses”. When I was trying to put the address (using the demo account), only generic addresses appeared… Or I do not even understand how your system works.
I ask if this “settings” window (like this) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1657501/Screenshots/lm02il9txbp1.png opens for the user (owner listing) so that he can find his address easily on the map. Because it is impossible to predict which street and which building number he will choose … that is, we can not register specific addresses “before”, creating a previous database. Thanks!
Sorry! The message above is a question.
Presales Question – Do the products that a shop might have appear on their page? I could not see any demo page where this is? How does a store add new products or discounts?
Can the individual listing page for a store or shop or even restaurant be set up in tabs? ie. Tab for each section; ie. overview, products, team, events ?
In the next version of the Listify theme all products that a vendor/listing owner has added will display on their profile page, example of what a profile page looks like: https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/author/spencer/
How does a store add products/discounts? Using WooCommerce Product Vendors: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/507-how-do-i-allow-vendors-to-sell-products-through-my-listify-powered-website
We don’t have plans to add tabs in the Listify theme, so many other directory themes do that, and it just looks pretty naff. I’m the designer of the Listify theme and personally don’t love all those tabs.

Hello a pre-sale question.
I want a directory theme and I really love the design listify has! But I want to know if it is possible to put on one page all the events/special offers that the bussiness have on my site.
Thanks
also I’ve noticed that the only way to search about a business is from the main page. After I got on a businnes single page or on a local business list, the only way to find another one (maybe not related or from that area) is to go back on the main page. That’s not user-friendly. Is it possible to give the abillity to search from different pages? The search at the top of the page is not helpfull at all.
Question: I want to know if it is possible to put on one page all the events/special offers that the business have on my site.
Answer: In a future update of the Listify theme we will create a dedicated template page which will allow the display of all events/special offers etc it will look much better than the current “shop” page: https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/shop/
We are also currently improving the search at the top of the page, when searching it will display the business listings just the same as this page: https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/listings/

Hi, can i have psd files please ?
thanks
We design in the browser, and then if there are certain parts that need to be designed then we usually just use Sketch – http://bohemiancoding.com/sketch/
Need to create a PSD from the theme design? Use: http://www.pagelayers.com/

Wooooooo this app is awesome !! thanks @Adma
Woot!
Hi, I love what I see so far, just a quick question before I buy.
Is it possible to add a location by dropping a pin on a map if it is not possible to enter an address (Submit Listing)? I would also like to list countryside locations, for example rivers or lakes.
Best of luck for sales!!!
We plan to create an additional plugin that will allow the listing owner to drop a pin anywhere on the map. Currently the system works with the Google Places API to find the longitude and latitude of an address.
Cheers! Adam
Hi Adam,
Many thanks for your reply, would you be able to give me any idea of when the plugin will be available? This is quite fundamental for the site I am developing.
In my opinion this would be a great feature, in my experience, most themes and plugins that get locations from users give the option to better place the pin, Google Places API isn’t always 100% accurate and locations aren’t always address specific.
Thanks in advance,
Jody
We currently do not have a timeline for this plugin as we are currently still working on the advanced “Claim a listing” plugin that works with WooCommerce and the Pricing Package / Submissions Fields management plugin. We may know when this plugin will be available later on in December.
I would recommend adding your email to our mailing list or follow us here on Twitter for theme / plugin updates & here on ThemeForest for our new theme releases.

Hi Adam,
Thanks for your reply, I look forward to news on this plugin. I’ll add my email and follow you as recommended.
Keep up the good work,
Jody
Hi great theme but one issue:
Users will then be able to upload any of their own images or choose existing images from the Media Library.
I don’t want users to have easy access to other users uploaded images. Nor do I want them to need to search through the library to find images. Is there anyway to fix this? I can’t progress with my site
.
When logged in as a no-admin account users do not have access to the media library from the frontend. Need help with this question more in detail?

hi, do you offer any setup service?
We recommend using a service from Envato Studios to setup our themes
http://bit.ly/envato-studio
When you search anything, listings show up like blog posts, show the postdate, and number of comments. This screams WordPress default.
Soon it will look like this, in 1.0.0.5 of the theme

This theme is very confusing regarding user subscription/registration. I know it’s new and you are trying to improve, but here are some questions below. I’ve been reading your docs but can’t find solutions:
- What paid plugins are necessary to be installed to run the website as shown in demo? Is Restrict Content Pro necessary? Are woocommerce plugins required? woo subscriptions? woo products? woo paid listings? woo social login? - Plans and pricing page is empty after demo import. Why? - How can user be required to buy a membership plan to post a listing?
Thanks for your help.
1. http://listify.astoundify.com/article/532-what-paid-plugins-do-you-use-on-your-listify-theme-demo
2. No.
3. WooCommerce is required.
4. If you want listing owners to be charged a recurring fee to list on your directory then you might want to invest in a subscriptions plugin, more info: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/510-can-i-charge-a-subscription-to-the-listing-owners
5. If you want a to charge a fee to list on your directory them you will need the WC Paid Listings plugin, more info: http://listify.astoundify.com/category/222-wp-job-manager---woocommerce-paid-listings
6. If you want social login on your website, then you might want to invest in a social login plugin, more info: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/521-can-i-use-social-login-on-my-listify-powered-directory
7. Want to setup plans and pricing? You’ll need the WC Paid Listings plugin and then follow these guides, http://listify.astoundify.com/article/321-woocommerce-paid-listings-creating-a-job-package- http://listify.astoundify.com/article/275-homepage-pricing-table
8. If you have WC Paid Listings installed, when a listing owner creates a listing, they will be prompted to paid for the listing when submitting it to the website.
When uploading images to the gallery using the ‘submit a listing’ form, it gives the following error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas04_data02/31/2341131/html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-imagick.php on line 344

Hello,
very nice theme and very good display on mobiles.
Pre purchase questions: - do you paln to add a Get directions functions in Item details?
- how Events are managed? I mean, are listings owner able to set Events?
Thank you
1. Yes we plan on adding the “Get directions” function.
2. Events are not managed by the theme.
I believe WooThemes is releasing a Events plugin for WooCommerce we will support this plugin in our theme so that vendors can post events , and allow customers to purchase tickets.
Not officially supported in the Listify theme but you might want to check out:

Wish list – to have a place to add in our Google Analytics tracker code!
Please use: https://wordpress.org/plugins/goolytics-simple-google-analytics/ it would be much simpler using a plugin that already does this instead of adding a plugin feature into a theme.

Why is my listify using job_type as the post type… I’m guessing this is shared code from jobify which is fine but it shouldn’t show this for listify’s post type as it’s not relevant and looks bad in the search url string.
Your demo’s looks better:
https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/listings/?search_keywords=&search_location=&search_categories=29&search_radius=50&search_lat=&search_lng=&search_region=&search_context=6 my dev looks like this http://dev.xxxxxx.co.uk/?post_type=job_listing?search_keywords=&search_location=&search_categories=67&search_radius=50&search_lat=&search_lng=&search_region=&search_context=837&filter_job_type%5B%5D=freelance&filter_job_type%5B%5D=full-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=internship&filter_job_type%5B%5D=part-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=temporaryI seem to have hidden it by updating permalinks.. I guess you’ve just overwritten it with a pretty permalink – this bit still doesnt make sense though:

hi love your jobify theme and this one looks great too.
is there a way to remove the sidebar map from the listings category pages? is there a demo account we can login to, to see how users add and edit their listings?
looking to upgrade – http://onestopweddingshopstaffordshire.co.uk – and this looks like a great option
also is there a way to have “free” listings which have less information than “premium” listings
so for example free listings do not have contact details or website addresses etc, but the premium listings have options to add all information available…
Question #1: is there a way to remove the sidebar map from the listings category pages?
Question #2: is there a demo account we can login to, to see how users add and edit their listings?
Answer: If you create, pay and submit for a listing you will have access to the dashboard where you can see how a user can edit their listing. In test mode, you can use the card number 4242424242424242 with any CVC and a valid expiration date.
Question #3: also is there a way to have “free” listings which have less information than “premium” listings
Answer: We are adding over time more features and this will be one of them.
Cheers! Adam
Hello,
Just bought the theme today, looks great. Will be testing in the next few days. Installed all plugins required and demo content.
First error I notice with contact forms: When clicking “claim listing”, get this error:[contact-form-7 404 "Not Found"]
thanks
Another question: how to remove keywords field from homepage? Just leave location and category fields? And is possible to change order?
Please review:
http://listify.astoundify.com/article/344-setting-up-your-forms
At this time we do not offer customization support with our free help service, i.e. Help me customize the home page, remove the keyword box, change the wording on the search fields etc.
I keep getting this message: This request has been denied for security reasons. If you believe this was in error, please contact support.
I get this issue with a few web hosts, i.e. GoDaddy, BlueHost, HostGator, they will block my IP address for no reason. So each time this happens, I’ll have to request them to whitelist my IP (as my ISP gives out dynamic IP addresses to broadband users in residential area, so it changes every now and then) Its really annoying.
This is not a issue with the Listify theme.
Cheers! Adam
