1. Yes, you can set header height via Theme Options.
2. Yes, there is build in form. + If you like, you can use free plugin “Contact form 7” or premium “Gravity Forms”.
3. This can be done by editing CSS only.
4. Yes, There is documentation, some screencasts. PSDs will be available today or tomorrow.
5. This is not theme related feature, but rather WordPress itself (which can be enhanced by plugins).

Our server geographically located somewhere in the middle of US + it experiences huge bandwidth load, since lots of people are studying demo. There’s very high possibility that its bandwidth is not enough to serve some recourses (e.g. images, javascript, etc.) to your location correctly.
This would rock if the theme could be 100% compatible with the “codestyling localization” plugin

I read FastNOC comment above and I thought the images are included in the package. Next I read this in your description page: Attention! Photos on the preview are not included and can be purchased from www.shutterstock.com.
I am a bit confused what’s going on . This images may cost well over a hundred dollars, so you will rock if you indeed have included them. Just remove the text in the description page. .

to all friends on themreforest, as a none-fundamental-web-dev experience ppl, i really recommend this theme,, the user guide is not important, all you have to do is installed, and view the demo short code on their demo site.
then implement the parts you want, if your blueprint have been planed well, trust me, it only take less than 3 hours to finish your web site.

Considering purchase… 1. For what i could see in your live preview, in the fullscreen revolution slider homepage… it´s actually not fullscreen… I suppose this happens because its in “overlapping heading” mode, isn´t it? 2. Is there an option for the porthole slider to go fullscreen? Great theme btw!

I’m afraid no. You’ll have to make your hands dirty in the CSS. Bot you’re not the first person asking about it. I think soon we’ll have to come up with a “simple solution” for that (maybe a ready made style file or something like that)

Great looking theme
On the single post pages can I have images that have an open proportional height? What I mean is if I have some tall images can they automatically scale proportionately (without cropping of lightbox). Like now you are using 593px for the width but I would like open height.
On the blog archive/category pages is there a way to have the picture when clicked just go to the single post instead of opening the image?

first NICE THEME! But i got a little problem with it. When i activate the theme i get the message “Error: Less css is not writable!”. I went to /wp-content/themes/the-7/css/custom.less and changed to 775 but the failure is still there. Help me!

Hi, Most probably you WordPress is a bit misconfigured: you need to set CHMOD to “your-site/wp-content/uploads" folder to 777. This is WordPress requirement, otherwise you'll not be able to upload images to your site (and theme will not be able to save your design customization) . I have purchased this theme and I am really impressed. But I have a problem, many of the contents which are included in the demo of the Theme The7 are missing.
Many of the Demo Pages are missing Also many rounded Benefits Icons are missing.

Hello, Please note that content that you see on demo is HUGE. Not huge, but HUGE Most hostings have limit on dummy content size < 2 MB. So most users will physically not be able to import this big amount of data.
We included ALL homepages and basic layouts for post types, etc. Rest of layouts can be reproduced really easily with page templates and (or) Visual Layout Builder!

I did some some work setting up the theme, changing few options and creating some pages.
Now if I import the demo file at the current state, will everything I’ve done be overriden ?
Also will I be able to remove the demo content with 1 action, or I would have to go step by step deleting posts and pages ?

If you import content this will not occur your existing content. All dummy posts/pages will be added to existing ones.
Ass with ALL other themes you’ll have to remove unwanted posts/pages manually. Though this is not a problem since amount of dummy content not THAT huge and you can always bulk actions in WordPress.

Hi, These themes shares similar backend and program framework put I wouldn’t say that they have similar look and feel (though this is only my opinion )...
Rounded corners can be changed to sharp by editing some bits of CSS.
My recommendation is to choose theme look of which you like the best.

Hi,First of all, PressCores codebase is the foundation of The7.
The7 features different design (and therefore different HTML, CSS and some JS). Its Theme Options are a bit different (as a result of different design). Some elements responsiveness is a bit better in The7. Functions-wise these themes are very close.
So IMO you should go for one that you visually like best.

1) This can be done with single line of css: max-width: 998px !important (you can change 998px to whatever you like.)
2) Actually it works, but [normally] requires screen width > 1240px. Again this can be changed really easily!
3) 1200px. And (again) this can be changed really easily

Right now the corners are all 8px rounded. Can I set all these to say 4 px in the settings? Or do I need to go through all of the css to manually change all of the property values myself?

Looks REALLY AWESOME, great job!!
Some things:
The revolution slider background color is picked up, even though I see that in the code the background color is disabled:

Also, when scrolling with the overlapping rev slider, this happens:

Hi, Either you have very big negative margin set to your first stripe(row) in the content area OR you need to disable the “header overlapping” on this page. Please let me know which solution works for you (I suspect a small bug). Thanks!
Regarding color bg of revolution slider. There’s high possibility that its background is being set somewhere in CSS files. Please use FireBug to explore ALL styles applied to that element.

Well, I installed the dummy content and then it happened. I changed a slide background, but did nothing else. I haven’t even opened the page yet. The demo page is ‘revolution overlapping header’.
I like the overlapping, so if this can be fixed, that would be awesome
For the background color, I found that, it appeared set in the slider settings, my bad!

I’ve looked further into the problem with the overlapping going wrong and I think I know why it happens:
It happens any time I move my mouse over an element that responds (like the business boxes on homepage 7) while scrolling. This is in Chrome, by the way. I tested it in Firefox also, but there the bottom overlap misses. Same for the iPad, the bottom overlap misses there as well.
I believe something is wrong with some jquery or java in the theme package. The demo doesn’t have these problems.
Would really appreciate it if you can check this out!
