A caching plugin that influences the admin area? I guess you had some sort of object cache enabled?
yeap. I de-registered the theme, cleared all cache, registered the theme again and everything went back to normal. I was confused as well as i knew that i registered my theme in the first place as i received the updates… Everything is ok now. Thanks for your fast assistance.

With the recent update, the row stripes seem to be missing. Our entire website of hundreds of pages is built using stripes which were customized to give us the look we wanted. Not only can I not find the stripes, but the stripes classes seem to have been removed from the vc rows leaving me with no convenient way to target and style with CSS. Please say it ain’t so!

In order to resole it:
1. Make sure you have “The7 Elements” plugin installed (The7 > Plugins)
2. Enable rows/stripes in The7 > My The7, under “Settings” block.

Nope, they’re not going anyway. We mark features as “legacy” or “deprecated” so that new The7 buyers use their newer alternatives (Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons native features in case of rows/stripes).

Our contact form is really simple shortcode. There’s not much settings available for it.
However The7 is fully compatible with Contact Form 7 plugin. You can build whatever form you like and customize it as you need.

However note that Armada was updated 20 July 2017 and we are not planning to discontinue it.

Hi! If I have to move the website I am working on with this theme to another domain, do I have do something in particular? I’am changin the domain and the server and i registered the theme on the test domain. I mention that I will use the theme only on one domain.

In order to move your site to other domain simply de-register the theme on your current domain, move the site (we recommend “all in one WP-migration” plugin) and register the theme on a new domain.

It depends on what method of moving sites you choose. We recommend “all in one WP-migration” plugin because it is easiest and most safe for this purpose.

Is there a VC option? or 7 theme option to create a 3-column of text boxes with a left justified icon? On the main demo, just below the slider, there are three text columns with headers, and icons on the left side. How do I create this same effect on my website? I want the icons there, and also the text left justified just next to the icon. Not with the icon. The icon itself has it’s own padding separate from the text box. Is this within the same column?

Please navigate to any theme options page and click “save” button. Don’t forget to clear the browser cache afterwards.

It’s been way more than 24 hours now. I know your support is very limited and is nothing compared to the round-the-clock support other theme developers provide, but not the point where I would wait for almost 2 days to get an answer. And nope, saving settings and emptying the cache didn’t do anything.
Please do not exagorate and do not post misleading comments. Very few, if any author at all, provide what you call “round the clock” support. And definitely not major authors on ThemeForest.
Never had to wait for more than 8 hours for any answer, including on weekends. But anyway, I am not in a mood of arguing. Now are you going to give me the support I am paying for or I will have to wait for your developers to come to the office on Monday?

I suggested a solution that I knew could solve the issue. But apparently it didn’t. I’m afraid we’ll need to wait for more qualified engineer to take a look into your issue
However I’m still guessing that it is related to the cacheing. To me it sounds like either theme cannot create fresh dynamic CSS file or a caching plugin blocking it..
Will you please try to temporarily disable the caching plugin (if you are using one) and check will it solve the issue?

Hi, we are looking for a way to replace the Teaser option across our site, which we use extensively. You reply to a related question above: “”Teaser” if basically a column with an image and text. Our designer says that at this moment it is easier to use standard VC elements to get same (or better) layouts.”, but you do not give further details as to what exact combination of elements are you referring to. A single image and text would do the same? Are you referring to something else? It is important to learn what is the best way to address this, as it seems we now will need to take some extra steps while developing a similar setting like the one created with the Teaser , with just one click. We are not too sure this will be as effective as it was with the Teaser.
Always keep in mind this “backward” effect “for the rest of us” when making changes like this, we say.

Will it suffice if I say that we are currently planning a roadmap on improving Team, Testimonials, Teaser and other our shortcodes?
I cannot go into more details. Not because it’s a huge secret, but because we have not decided what we will be doing with them yet.
Only thing I can tell for sure is that we are not going to remove these elements from the theme. We have a huge user-base and realise the importance of backwards compatibility.

Posts and pages are completely different post types. There’s practically no chance one turned into another without using dedicated for that purpose. My best guess you’ve simply enabled the comments section for the page. That’s why it may look like a blog post without being one.
Thank you. All I did though was install a fresh installation and imported your demo content. I’m a new to your theme, so if comments are enabled it’s a part of the default settings that came with the theme. So what is happening is every time I open a page, it changes to a post. So say I open the contact page, I add my phone number then click update, it changes the page to a post. So I will make a video to show you. If this is normal, I never experienced this with Avada. So why would a demo content page change to a post? I have no idea? I know this is not support, but I’m not sure how many days it takes to hear from support.
Honestly, haven’t got even a slightest idea.. Maybe some bizarre caching. Our support engineers will get back to you soon.
And for the record I make WP troubleshooting tutorials for another theme company and I have never seen this before. Even with going into the myphpadmin and changing the post type back to page and deactivating unneeded plugins, any page reverts back to a post. I know your job is to make your theme sound the best, but even an apology for any issues would be nice.
Excuse me , but apology for what exactly? There are 70 thousand people using the theme (legally and much more illegally) and this is the first time ever we hear such report.
Again, it is technically impossible for the theme to change page into post. You have to be altering the DB directly without using WordPress native methods. Naturally for security reasons it is not allowed on ThemeForest.
Are you serious? You cannot even say sorry for any issues, support will contact you soon? There had been two updates already in the last few days. I’m trying to find a fix. I will make a video and show you exactly what is happening! Don’t treat people rude why paid and was stating an issue.

2. They are animations from Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons plugins. I guess you can view them in their respective demos.

If you want to use a portfolio that way and you find its features to be sufficient – you absolutely can.
sorry, i miss you there. I need for both (projects and products) a specific place in the backend to add them (products post type and projects post type), archive pages, and pages for each project and product. Is that possible without theme customization?
You can use different categories for portfolio and catalog. But technically that will be one post type and content will be mixed there. Not a great idea I think.
You can create a child theme and duplicate a post type though. Our support engineers can consult you about it. However note that you need to know what you are doing.
Yes, I need 2 different post types, different archive pages and different layouts for projects/products posts. So, I need all portfolio feautures replicated to products. Can you do this if necessary? For example I would choose a mansory layout with filter for projects archive page and a grid layout with + a products menu in the sidebar for products.
This is possible. But it requires theme customization. Our support can give general guides on how this can be done. However you need be comfortable with child themes, “PHP for WordPress”, etc.
