Categories are pages generated automatically by WordPress. You cannot alter it, unless writing a custom template for that category(s).
However you can create a page and assign it a certain page template (e.g. “blog – list”) and select which category to show on this page and choose order as random.

Today I updated the theme from 3.1.1 to 3.9.0 and the website is totally in blank . I can see only the header and the menu .
I cant jump from 3.1.1 directly to 3.9.0 ?? or what is happened ?

The newest version of Chrome 52.0.2743.82 m is breaking the theme. I put in a support ticket with details.
False alarm, i found the issue, it CloudFlare Rocket Launcher that breaks the theme in the new Chrome version.

When I activate The7 Post Types in version 7.3, my entire website disappears and source code shows only a couple of lines of content. When I deactivate it, the website comes back. Help please!

Neither theme nor WordPress have such limits.
However there’s a PHP setting that limits number of variables that can be sent in POST request. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to double or triple its value.
Youtube movie in Revolution Slider is working on desktop but not on iPhone 6. Site is http://fotobusje.nl iPhone 5 is working, iPhone 6 not. Problem is with Youtube movie and same problem with Vimeo.

Most probably you are using first generation of theme which is almost 3 years old now. Please note that upgrade from first generation to current v.3 is not a direct update: a lot of additional setup must be performed in order to make site look same again.

Plz Add “RTL” Support

We quietly added basic RTL support long ago Therefore many people are actually using it for their RTL sites.
Though I have to admin that there are some issues like arrows facing wrong directions, or direction of scrollers, etc. Therefore we are not officially claiming that theme is 100% RTL-ready.
P.S. Just of curiosity you can look through most of themes that claim to be RTL compatible and will notice same issues Unlike those authors we are honest with our buyers and do not call theme 100% RTL compatible.

On May 20, 2015 I’ve bought “The7” theme and installed on a website but just for testing purpose. Now, I’ve chose to install this theme on another domain, but first, I’ve already deleted from previews one, because I know that I cannot use the same theme in two different domains with single licence. I have a very very big problem: I cannot use premium plugins included with theme (Slide Revolution, Visual Composer, Layer Slider etc) because it’s asked me for purchase code. Of course that I have purchase code but when I put it’s saying me that is incorrect. Maybe I’m putting in the wrong place? I don’t know where to contact with “Envato”. I’m very disappointed and confused. I don’t know how to solve this mess. Can anyone help please. I’m a very big fan of this theme and author but I cannot use it…

Theme purchase code is not valid to activate bundled plugins.
You can use all plugins that comes bundled with The7 theme without entering purchase codes or activating them.
However if you want a bit faster plugins updates, some locked features, exclusive content, dedicated support or just want to support their authors – you are more then welcome to purchase dedicated licenses.

This theme not work properly in opera mini android browser …. the main problem in menu of this theme for opera mini browser only … when you visit a the7 theme site in opera mini browser then the menu of this theme automatic open and website content not show properly …..and i am try for hide menu but in opera mini browser not hide this menu …..... There are only 2 mainstream mobile browsers: Chrome and Safari. If guys from Opera released a piece of crap that will not support W3C standard – it’s their own problem. Yes it’s also right what you say …. but you clearly show that Which are Compatible Browsers(IE10, IE11, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Edge) that supports your THE 7 v3 wordpress theme ….. in the details of this theme you show that Compatible Browsers are IE10, IE11, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Edge but in last reply you say that there are only two mainstream browsers Chrome and Safari … then what you mean by this .

1. I said that “only 2 mainstream mobile browsers: Chrome and Safari”.
2. Theme description states Opera (a desktop version based on webkit engine). Not Opera mobile or mini.
Two issues I’m having:
1) my logo won’t show up on the sliding header 2) anchors in my menu link to rows in the microsite, however they cut off the first part of the row’s content. Can’t seem to adjust the anchor point.
