Hello, I’m thinking about buying the theme but I still have a few questions:
- is the WPBakery Page Builder included or is it only supported and I would have to buy it additionally? I would like to build it completely with the WP Bakery Builder. I have no programming knowledge - Style and CSS changeable via Coustomizer? - Up to which PHP version is it compatible? - Is it possible to create a HOMEPAGE without scrolling down? E.g. only an image over the whole screen and with buttons (e.g. like this start page: www.ukphotographie.de)

You can add it by going in the Appearances > Menus and a new menu item with a link to your cart and the content <i class="fa fa-bag-shopping" />

Activation process messed up my whole shared server. resources sat at max. I ended up having to have them back up all content all sits on that cpanel and put them on different server. I purchased a independent cpanel hosting for this instal. I go to activate and bam everything frozen again. Contacted godaddy they suggested I not use this theme. I have had activation now spinning for 7hrs. my php.ini is all set correct and everything is green.

Those texts are on the ModelTheme Framework plugin. You should go on your translation plugin (loco translate/wpml or other plugin) and translate the string from the ModelTheme Framework plugin (it is not on the theme).

when I do update to v 1.4 of this theme header and menu lose all styling. Do I need set some options again for it to work?
And I don’t know if it was like this from the beginning, but mobile menu don’t have styling and all submenu are opened even on v 1.3. Are there options for this?

Have you modified your parent theme before the upgrade? In this case you should restore a backup.
And you should always backup your website before any upgrade. Technically, we never rewrite theme options on updates, so most probably you have edited the theme.
Note: You should never edit the parent theme (always add overrides on your child theme).

I have checked my earliest theme backup and mobile menu not working there too. When I send v1.4 via ftp header and loader lose styling too.
I did update to WP 5.9.1 too, is it problerm with new wordpress?

Again, there is no way you will lose the theme options on upgrade of the theme or WP (WP 5.9.1 is safe for upgrade).

Both images are changed from the back-end of the page. Just edit the page and search for the selection with background and change the parallax image: https://imgur.com/GYNY1pB, https://imgur.com/DfH9mZN.
About the image from the blog post header just add the following CSS customization in the style.css sheet where you add the path link to your own image:

Very happy with the theme overall. My only problem is about the PHP versions. If your hosting service uses the PHP version higher than 7.1.33, you will have a warning as /wp-content/plugins/modeltheme-framework/init.php:746 which you will not be able to login to your WP dashboard etc. ly solution is to manually reduce the version level of your PHP setting.

Make sure you have updated the theme to the lates version (1.4) and also update the ModelTheme Framework plugin to version 1.4 (that problem was fixed a while ago on version 1.3 of the theme), see our full changelog here https://modeltheme.com/changelog/trankad/.

Thank you for recently updating the Trankad theme to version 1.4. I am excited for the new update and improvements. I checked the change log but didn’t see any mention as to which wordpress version is recommended with the Trankad version 1.4 or which is the recommended PHP version. I am currently using Wordpress version 5.5.3.
Should I use the latest Wordpress release 5.7 released 3/9/21 or should I use 5.6.2? Also what PHP version is recommended with the new update as well?

The entire content from that page (it is a page) was built using the WPBakery page builder.
Make sure that the ModelTheme framework plugin is also active (check on Appearance – install plugins).

Thanks for continuing to update the theme; enjoying the Trankad theme a lot.
FYI – This current version of WPBakery 6.4.1 in Trankad 1.3 is not compatible with Woocommerce; which essentially breaks the front end WPBakery Editor.
The temporary solution to use the front end editor is to disable the woocommerce plugin; but this issue is fixed in the new WPBakery 6.4.2 plugin update. Might want to push another update to 1.4 Trankad with the new WPBakery update to fix the front end editor.

Update: I actually purchased a separate WPBakery license to get the updated version of WPBakery 6.4.2 in an attempt to fix the issue quickly but it still didn’t fix the issue above.
What actually fixed the issue was downgrading Wordpress version from 6.0 back to 5.5.3.
Hopefully WPBakery Plugin does another update to fix the compatibility issue with Wordpress 6.0; until then I will keep my Wordpress version to 5.5.3.

We are curious how you got the WordPress 6.0 installed on the site, since it is now officially released: https://wordpress.org/download/ (5.6 is the latest released WP version).

Sorry for the confusion but I meant Wordpress 5.6; not 6.0. Thank you for posting the link on how to update the bundled plugins without having to wait for a theme update. (Will try that next time there is an update for one of the bundled plugins like revolutionary slider or wpbakery)
Either way, WPBakery 6.4.2 or 6.4.1 is not compatible with the new Wordpress 5.6 at the moment; the WPBakery backend editor doesn’t show up on the edit page and on the WPBakery frontend editor, when you click on the edit pencil, the boxes don’t load correctly.
I don’t think this is Modeltheme’s nor Trankad themes fault; it is because Wordpress 5.6 was just released on 12/08/2020 and WPBakery hasn’t fixed the new compatibility issues yet. I am sure WPBakery will fix them soon in a future update.
For now I am using WPBakery 6.4.2 and Wordpress 5.5.3 to fix the issues.

Yes, I’ve already seen a lot of people complaining about bugs regarding the newest WP version 5.6. Most probably they will release a patch version such as 5.6.1 or 5.6.2 to solve all of this mess caused by this update.
At this moment it is safe to keep the WP downgraded until the next version gets released.

Is it possible to request a refund for this theme. a full day of trying to install with demo content and I have done nothing but waste time. I could have completed this project already with a better theme.
