I noticed that on my BuddyPress site, if a logged-out user views the site from a desktop browser, there is a “Register” and “Login” link displayed on the toolbar.
However, on a mobile phone, there is only a plain black bar when viewed in portrait mode, and only the WordPress icon on the left if viewed in Landscape mode. The links are missing from the toolbar.
This seems to be a BuddyPress issue regardless of the theme used; but is there any way through which I may get the links to show up on the mobile browser as well, using Kleo?

You could add a link inside the mobile menu, or if you really need it outside the menu, then you’ll probably have to do some layout modifications.

Hi, I’d prefer not to create the links manually inside the menu as they’ll always be there regardless of whether the person is logged in or out, resulting in clutter.
The way Wordpress/BuddyPress did it is dynamic – when the user is logged out it shows the ‘Register’ and ‘Login’ links, and when they are logged in they show the functions available to logged-in users.
It seems to have something to do with the responsive CSS, and it took into consideration both the horizontal resolution AND the entire screen estate. When I used a tablet with a larger resolution, the text links appears in landscape mode. The odd thing is, my phone has a resolution of 1080×1920, and my tablet has a resolution of 1200×1920.
So technically the horizontal resolution of both devices are the same; but the menus only appear on the tablet, and only when it is in landscape mode.
Any advice oh how I may amend the CSS (or otherwise) to make the links show up regardless? There’s loads of space on the bar, yet they do not show.

A solution to show menu items based on user state would be using the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/
Please note that there is a big difference between your device resolution and the rendered width of a browser, which is called viewport, you can find a few details here: http://www.canbike.org/CSSpixels/
The layout is optimized to mimic a mobile app menu under certain viewport width, so in your case you’ll need some modifications to the menu html structure, or an additional element added there, just in some cases ( on mobile devices for example ).

How can I charge members of my site for creating groups? I have the PMPro active but do not see any options to either restrict a URI. Also, create group is not a page which I can edit in my wordpress and select a certain membership level

great theme which I had to reinstall due to some idiotic mistake I did.
Now I have a problem concerning the translation via the external plugin codestyle localization, that you are recommending in the manual. It’s seems to be gone. http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/ shows “We couldn’t find that plugin. Maybe you were looking for one of these?” as result. Google is no help either. Do you know, if the plug-in still exists and where I can still find it? I need to translate the side in German and with poedit; it’s a pain in the *$&§#!

How do I create a custom sidebar for each page?
You can do this from “Appearance > Sidebars” and you can assign them by going and editing a page, where you’ll find a dropdown to choose your preferred sidebar for that page.

Updated again and again site died.. i enabled wp_debug and that does nothing. I run hundreds of sites and typically this is caused by something done on your end please fix this!
Please understand that if this were to be an issue from our side lots of customers would complain about it, and your case seems to be an isolated one.
This mostly happens because of bad quality custom codes added to the functions.php file or modifications that you might made directly to theme files. This might also happen because of old, outdated plugins.
If you can’t offer more details about the issue then we won’t know what to fix ( if it were to be an issue from our side ). Looking forward. Cheers

Hello, you should set WP_DEBUG to TRUE in wp-config.php so you can see the generated error. From my experience it could be related to PHP memory limit that needs to be increased to recommended 128 MB. That can be set by your hosting company.
