I would like to apologize before hand if you have already responded to a question similar to this one.
How I can I add and make backgrounds stay fixed while having content inside/on it? Also, how can I make solid color bars with text on it? I’ve been trying to figure it out, but not luck. Please see images for reference. If you have a tutorial(s) that’d be great!

Those use the full width container. Add one to the page, then edit the element. You can enter a background color or image. Then set the parallax background option to anything other than “none” and it will produce that effect.
You can place any other content inside the full width container and it will float on top of the background color or image.

Hi, I just have a few of queries.
1. I’m using Header Version 2 but social icons are not showing. Is there an option for this that I am not seeing? 2. With the product carousel is it possible to display Popular products and Most Recent products? I can only see options for product categories 3. Also on the product carousel is it possible to remove product categories from the display under the product image and also add product ratings? 4. The last one for the time being…On the single product page is there a way to edit the colour and size of the variance title (eg Size M,L,X) font? at the moment the font is very small and also the same colour as the website background so you can’t actually see it.

1. Make sure you have entered your custom URLs for the social icons you want t show, you an do that on the “Social Media” tab in theme options
2. Not at this time, it is a category based slider.
3. Yes you can remove product categories, that is an option in the carousel settings. Edit the element to select that. There is not an option to show ratings though.
4. Hmm yes there should be, if not it can be done with custom CSS. I cannot recall at the moment but our support team will know. Submit a ticket for this and any other question and they will gladly help.

Check your header settings, they will only show with header 2-5 and need to be assigned to the header content area 1 or 2.

I have installed WooCommerce to make a webshop on my installed Avada Fashion theme. I have run into a few issues, though; I can’t seem to find where I change the appearance of my webshop – e.g. make product pics smaller, change background from black to white (only on the SHOP page), and be able to see my categories (and select category to see its products), as well as change the slider/full width image at the top of the SHOP page???

The shop page is like any other page, you can edit it and add a slider to the top, or change to full width, etc. find the page in your admin and then edit it, look in the fusion options box. You can also change background color of the page there. or add a sidebar with categories, etc.
For product pics, this depends on a few things. In theme options > WooCommerce tab you can select the column layout for shop page, based on that you should make your product image sizes.
Also product image size are controlled in the WooCommerce settings. See the section at the bottom of this post about image sizes: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/woocommerce/
And the color settings for product boxes and type are all controlled in theme options as well.

hey there….
Is it possible to compress avadas main.min.js file…....no gzip compr. or other are successful. ( the file is round about 1 MB….i think it is too big….)
or should i outsource that file to a cdn….......
also it takes such a long time the style.css is loaded on my page
is this only a problem with my server and other plugins, css, js elements??

edit: round about 40-50 files of avada could not compressed…...is there any way to “gzip” them to have a better loading speed of my site???

Are you using a cache plugin? That is the best method to help speed up your site. But yes your server has a lot to do with it also.

Thanks for the comments! The video is older but same process applies.
Are you previewing the item as a draft? That is a known WP issue, if you publish it you will be able to see it.
If that is not it, check your permalink settings. Go to settings > permalinks and click save changes to reset.

Hey, i wonder can we put instead of the slider (for example I am using Revolution Slider) and I want to put the button on the mobile preview instead of slider or some element that could link to certain page (I think that we cannot put link on the fallback image now)..Please help

Support is slow and install of fusion plugin (required) breaks wordpress. if your on a deadline Avada maybe is not the right theme to use.

Have you looked into basic troubleshooting tips? Fusion core certainly does not break WP, if it does then there is another issue going on, and most likely it is due to low PHP configurations. But if the images are cut off on yours then it is due to the image size you entered. When you add an image to a flip box, it has to have the exact size entered for width and height. Look in the flip box options, edit the element and look under image widtha dn iamge height, enter the exact values there of your images.

Where can I see the changes between 3.8.3 and 3.8.4 versions of Avada, because I’ve updated the website I’m working on and there are a lot of unwanted changes after replacing by FTP with Avada last version. I had to get back to the previous version and everything works fine. The website is 100% full width with Fashion Demo and some of the photos and frames were not full widt with the new version. In 3.8.3 everything is working like the Live demo. The problems were on laptop, mobile and PC with Firefox browser only. I hope this issue will be corrected soon.

There should not be any visual issues when updating, especially form 383 to 384. Make sure you are also updating fusion core plugin, and clearing out your cache (browser, plugin, etc).

Hi, is it possible to disable “Ajax Add to cart” on woocommerce Shop Pages (Overview Pages)? I use the woocommerce catalog mode plugin and with that it should not be able to add a product to the basket, but with ajax the product is still added. Thanks for help André

This depends on your setup. Depending on the header layout, maybe there is some header padding used. And if the menu height is larger than the logo, this can also create top/bottom white space on the logo. So to give you precise instructions we would need to see your site. I would like to build a site in 2 languages, that would work something like this:
1 – Home page would be static. Visitor would choose between our 2 offices (USA or Brazil)
2 – Content of each language (or office) would be different, because we offer different services in each country – there also would be different disclaimers and etc. Lay-out would be the same though (maybe minor differences)
3 – some content would be the same (like history, about us, team).
Is this possible with Avada?

Hi, I used your theme on http://www.impfm.com/house/ and create a website and then i moved it to http://www.pmir-inspection.com/
But after i moved a site , i see 2 difference on both sites which you can see too if you open them.
1: video on http://www.impfm.com/house/ covers the whole page but video on http://www.pmir-inspection.com/ is small in size
2: If you scroll down page on http://www.impfm.com/house/ , you wiill see how video get disappear and page covers the video like a lovely effect but if you scroll down http://www.pmir-inspection.com/ you will see video will just normally goes up without effect
My question is why there is a difference , am i missing something ? like if i am missing some effect on new site
