Voice is a fantastic theme. I’ll be purchasing today. I do have some questions though.
1) Is it possible to make this theme boxed? So that I can use a background wall paper ad?
2) I’m looking to use a different post slider than the ones provided. I’m assuming all I have to do is post the short code in the custom content box? Also, can I use this custom content box on category pages as well?

i was wondering if it is possible in this theme to auto adjust every image on a single post to adjust … since i would like to have every image on the site with the same width. I tried to adjust it in the css style file, width: 800px; but the logo also re-sizes to 800px;

Hello…I am really enjoying this theme so far…great job on the design. I appreciate the comments as well from other users and may I suggest that some of the simplier customization answers be put in the threads? For example I have this question as well…
The featured area. Where to start? It looks great but it’s much too dark, especially if you’ve got fantastic photo’s where you want to showcase them. I’m wondering if there is a way to fix this through CSS or a way you could add a feature to the theme at some point to adjust the opacity levels of the featured area.
It would be great to know the answer to this without having to send another email to support after we post here. Is it possible to do that and how would i go about changing the opacity as it is a little to dark for me as well.

There is already an option for it. Go to Theme Options -> Main Layouts and you will find opacity options for both big post and grid posts in featured area. Make sure you have the latest version of the theme as it is added in version 1.3: http://demo.mekshq.com/voice/documentation/#changelog

Hi, first of all thanks for beautiful theme.There is some problems i faced with. When i set my homepage with modules; 1. i create 1 module with 1 column. It is long module with lost of posts. 2.i want to small 1 column modules near it. but i can only create one module just next to him. i want 3 small module next to this big 1 column modue. Isnt that possible ?
Question 2: Is there any plan for make mage menu with child category showing.
Question 3: I want to show my categories on sidebar. But i have lots of child category. I just want to show parent categories. Can we do that ?

Do not get me wrong. I love the Voice, but I could love it a little bit more So I’m going to ask:
Is it possible to have image options in next update? – I want so much to have ratio 4:3 all over.
It would also make me very happy to have text settings, titles and more, to the left rather than the center. Is it possible?

This is what we already had in mind. The main problem is because at the moment all images have their own specific ratio so we would need to think a little bit how to add this functionality without breaking a lot of existing sites of our users.

How i can put video at header section, it is possible?

Basically, we do not support video as it doesn’t fit into our theme concept in a technical way. But, you can use .gif image instead of a video if you want it to be animated.

You can do it with CSS. Please go to Theme Options -> General and into Additional CSS field paste this:
#vce-featured-grid .vce-featured-title { display: none; }

I’ve noticed that the Meks Social Widget supports the Soundcloud icon/links, however it doesn’t show in the dropdown in the admin widget options. I’ve added it to the classes files for use on my website, but it’s something to look at adding for others in the next update.

Sounds good. I have forwarded this issue, as well as the issue of being limited to the amount of categories we can add to the main navigation to support.
On both of sites that we run on Voice, the responsive google adsense ads are NOT showing in the header location… but are showing on the right nav and under the article. We using the same code for all 3 locations. We have added the code within the “header styling” option… using “text mode”. If we add straight 728×90 banner from Google in the location… the ad shows in the header as it should. Any suggestions?

On a mobile device, the font-size is 14px. How can I adjust it to normal 16px? Try to change textarea { font-size: 16px; } but it only affects desktop font size.
Also, adding h1.entry-title { font-size:32px; } will change h1 on desktop smaller, but it stays 32px on mobile devices. How can it be scale down on mobile devices?

The character limits of excerpt for non utf-8 character is not working correctly. When it exceeds the limit, instead of appending ... in the end, it will replace the whole excerpt with ... .
