How do you add images to the gallery drop downs under an individual service?
I see in the page code that this may have something to do with it but cannot quite work out how I know what info to put in there to make the images i have uploaded show?

just enable Visual Composer for services under Visual Composer / General Settings, enable lsvrservice. And then add Gallery element when editing service page.

It is enabled but Visual Composer but does not come up when I edit or add a service? Visual composer does come up for other sections such as pages though…....
Played around a bit more. You also have to have ‘post enabled’ in visual composer for services to work – having services enabled and not post means you will not see VC on services. An issue to be worked out in the next update maybe.

Try to resave those settings under Visual Composer / General Settings. It is definitely working for me.
Hi Lubos there is a problem with the portfolio. When I try to edit a project changing gallery position everything disappear. It seems like there is a problem with page positions. Same happens if I add new text or shortcode in visual composer area into the project. At the moment it’s pratically impossible edit portfolio at all, because almost everything I do makes the portfolio project disappear. Wordpress 4.2.2, bluecollar 1.1.3 Please help! Thanks
PS I noticed that another similar problem is in pages: when I try to change sidebar position in sidebar template nothing happens and sidebar stays always on the left side
Hi I noticed now that portfolio project shows only if Gallery position is on top. Not showing if I change to any other position.

I’ve just tested it and everything works fine on my side. Try to disable all 3rd party plugins not required for this theme. Also, feel free to share URL of your site so I can take a look.

I have been trying to update the theme since version v1.0.7 and i cant get it to update withought loosing elements on the page..
I have done many updates with WordPress with different themes but with this theme its very strange.

Hi,
you are the first who is reporting such behaviour. Standard way to update the theme is to deactivate and remove the current version and just install the new one. You definitely shouldn’t lose any settings doing it that way. But you can also do it by overwriting files via FTP. Just unzip installable bluecollar.zip file and copy bluecollar folder to wp-content/themes. No way you can lose any settings in wp-admin doing it like this.

I need some help on the Service post type archive… I do like the default theme settings for the service section on the homepage, however I have unique content for the service archive page and I’m not sure if or how this content can be added. Even if the content was below the default service thumbnails, that is all I need…

well, it is not possible by default, but if you don’t mind adding it via code, then you can do it by editing archive-lsvrservice.php file in theme’s root and put your content either before line 23 (if you want to display it above Services) or after line 86 (if you want to display it below Services).

that’s not a regular page, that’s the Service post type archive. You can find the link to this page under Theme Options / Services, but basically it’s just your-url/services (make sure to switch your permalink format to Post name under Settings / Permalinks).

Just following install instructions. When installing plugins it comes back with the following error for all:

Hi,
don’t know what is going on, but you can try to install them manually via Plugins / Add New / Upload Plugin. You can find all plugins in Plugins folder in full package.
If that fail too, then the other solution is to unzip those plugins and upload their folders via FTP to wp-content/plugins.

This theme uses TGM Plugin Activation class to handle automatic plugin installation and this approach is more or less standard for all WP themes on ThemeForest nowadays. So it is really weird it doesn’t work for you in this case. But well, it happens.

this theme doesn’t support this feature. You can enable it by opening includes/visual-composer-setttings.php file and removing line 5, but again, it is not officially supported so you are on your own on this one.

Well, you should at least try to enable it as I described, maybe it will work for you.
Refunds are handled by Envato, but I would be very suprised (and shocked) if you get refund for such reason. But it’s up to them to decide.

there is definitely some issue with your hosting. When I opened your site for the first time, icons worked. Then I’ve reloaded the a page and they stopped working. Then reloaded again and I got “ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT” message.

Of course, this is a major issue. But I am afraid it would be the same with almost any theme using iconic fonts.
You can try this solution: Open .htaccess file in your WordPress root and add the following lines:
# Apache config <FilesMatch ".(eot|ttf|otf|woff)"> Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" </FilesMatch>
If that won’t help, then just contact your hosting provider and explain your issue. Chance is that they’ve already dealt with this in the past. Many hosting providers are using some kind of security filters which automatically blocks loading of iconic fonts.

you mean background color of header overlay? Please read the documentation on how to create color skin. The definitions for header overlay can be found on lines 518 and 519 in .scss file. Just replace $accent-2 and $accent-3 with your colors (only on those two lines) and don’t forget to convert it to regular .css (as per documentation).
Or you can hire a freelancer who will do it for you.

I did a work around in single-lsvrservice.php and replaced the

And made a meta-field named “top_slider_url” in Wordpress.
This is OK with me. (The template is in the Child-theme).

class="slide-inner" is a custom CSS class to handle the height of the image to different screen widths.

If anybody copy the code above, make sure you have the right amount of div ending tags ”/div”.

if you mean services in header, then you can do that by editing components / page-header.php file. Go to line 85 – it looks like this:
'posts_per_page' => 100,
Change 100 to 4.
