Hello I am having an urgent issue. My pages are loading sooo slowly. I have used several different caching plugins, optimized most of my photos. I have other websites with WAY more photography and images and they run perfectly fine. My site loads and loads, and then only goes if you hit the refresh button. And on mobile phones its even worse! Can you please help asap, I really would like my site to improve this. I did send a ticket for another issue a couple of days ago, but haven’t heard back, I guess because its the weekend, but this issue is definately the priority because I cannot show anyone my site in this condition. Please help thanks!

In this case, if you’re not going to use Contact Page template, we recommend that you use Contact Form 7 plugin as it is fully compatible with our theme and lets you have contact forms displayed as your content -

This inquiry is specific to a particular website configuration but, as a general rule-of-thumb there are two aspects to be considered.
1) Server side – try getting in touch with your hosting service enabling gZip compression and leveraging browser caching to enhance the load time when it comes to the servers’ algorithms.
Or take a look at these two articles in order to do this yourself:

2) You could optimize your content (images that is) with some image optimization tool – JPEG mini for example in order to compress them with out losing noticeable quality.
When it comes to the theme code itself it is already optimized to the fullest so no further actions in this direction are required.
*Alternatively you could try using one of the popular caching plugins. But please have in mind that we’ve not tested any plugin of the sort with our theme and therefore cannot guarantee full compatibility. Thanks for understanding.

Hi There,
On the mobile header, to the right hand side there is a “Search” icon, can we change it to be a “Phone” icon that opens the the phone function on a mobile device?
This would be a huge improvements and in my opinion a fundamental for mobile functionality
Any chance we can have some short code for this now and then have it implemented in Qode options?

I’ve uploaded the theme via FTP (and attempted through the WP interface as well) and the Qode is still not showing up. There are no limits to size on the server, so its not the issue you mention a few times. Please advise. Thanks
Nevermind, for some reason when I used Filezilla as opposed to the CPanel in GoDaddy, it recognized the theme. Now to figure out how to make it look like the demos

I just purchased 1 bridge theme. I will be building it on a development site (which is my domain), and then moving it to the clients website, which is another domain. I only will use Bridge for this one wedsite. Is this OK, or will it cause conflicts with licensing ??

Each domain you’re using our theme on has to have a separate license (by Envato licensing regulations). So if you’re building one website using our theme you are fine with using one license.

a client of mine has this theme and they wish to add audio to the fullscreen video (and controls, but this is less of an urgency) i’ve had a look throuhgh the comments and have seen that it’s possible but no explanation of how, presumably just editing the file the video embed to not be muted? Can you let me know which file needs to be edited to do this or if theres a command that can be entered into the slider configue on the page

Note that only muted parameter is missing. Save and re-upload the file back onto your server.

Hello,
Visual Composer is included, right. But I miss some features available in Visual Composer standalone product, like the “Widgetised Sidebar” and some more nice element. Why have you removed these? Or do you have any other options to use a widget in a page?
Also I miss the Visual Composer Settings tab Design Options. Where is it?

Hi Andreas,
Bridge features Visual Composer but some of the shortcodes are initially disabled as they are not used by our theme and others have been improved in terms of functionality and styling to match the overall design and ensure a better user experience.
However, if you want to enable some of the default shortcodes you can do so by going into your theme folder/extendvc/extend-vc.php – edit this file so that you comment out the code that removes VC elements you’re looking for.
To revert Visual Composer’s admin panel to its basic state, please go to your theme folder/includes/plugins/visual-composer.php and remove this part of code – http://screencast.com/t/ngjBDTTaDOqY
