meks, there really needs to be an option to put the new comment box above the comments, not below. The site I am building will be heavy use and there will be lots of comments. Having to scroll forever to get to the comment box is just not good.
I really don’t want to have anything custom to solve this, so I can keep up with your updates. Can you please make this a priority for the next release?

I definitely don’t need to provide a link on this one, its easy, all of the millions of sites using Disqus or Livefyre have the comment box above the comments.
But just to show it, here is one of my personal blog posts with Disqus comments were the comment box is above the comments themselves. http://0v.org/installing-ghost-on-ubuntu-nginx-and-mysql/
I was thinking about WordPress native comments example. You can of course install Disqus plugin on our Voice theme and get the same layout as you have sent in previous example. Disqus is fully supported.

I do not want Disqus. I just want the comment box above the comments so more people will comment. With all the big services doing it, it is the new default. I will be using BuddyPress for a lot of stuff on the site, so I want to make sure I don’t go with a 3rd party comment system, as I want the comments to be part of their profile as well.
You have made an amazing theme here, with more options than I could dream of. I am just wondering why you are pushing back against this obvious one?
If one of my posts has 200+ comments on it, which will be happening on my site, the comment box will be so far down that a lot of people wont ever get to it. It needs to be at the top, and I shouldnt have to edit core theme files to make it happen.
Please help us all out and give us that option.

We are not pushing back against anything here. I was just being honest to let you know about our working policy. Please understand that a lot of similar requests comes from a lot of our users every day and we need to carefully choose further steps for each update and for each theme we have and that’s a lot of work.
If a user wants some feature that is urgent and important to him specifically, we have great developers to handle all customization requests in very short time. So it is up to you to decide whether you want to submit customization request or just wait until we have time and priority over other users’ requests to put your specific feature into a regular update.

Love the theme. I want a small feature added.
The smart author widget, I have it placed on my author template. It shows the author just fine, thats great. But I want it to show the authors social links too, like at the bottom of a post in the author box there.
The other feature I really need is the ability to provide a description on tag and category pages.

The plugin you have pulls in the author description and image, so it is reading the data from their profile just fine. Why cant it read the social information too? Its just database calls.
That’s because social fields are added via theme, they do not exists in default WordPress database configuration. And that’s why we would need to make custom features inside a plugin for this specific case…

That I get, however, you wrote the code that works in the theme to pull the data out. And this is a feature that everyone would probably love to have, so the Smart Author plugin should probably get this. It shouldnt just be something for me.

Hello i read in another comment about how to resolve the Missing: author issue that i saw in my google webmaster tools. I added the author to my layout and hopefully this will resolve this. However i cannot find how to resolve the Missing: updated issue. Can you help?
Update field is related to your date/time so you just make sure it is checked in meta data options as well.

i think i have one more issue when i create a post and it starts counting the views, how comes that after changing something in the post the views go back to 1 or 2 – i had a post with nearly 100 views and after rewriting it it went back to 2 views – not the first time that this happens – any chance to fix that please, thanks

Today I took a look at your new theme “Sidewalk’, and was impressed with some of the new features. What i really liked was the ability to box the site and add a background image as it added a lot of warmth and personality to the site. Could you let me know if these option will be coming to Voice or we have to move to “Sidewalk”?
I have noticed a couple other people asking about the ability to ‘box’ Voice, thus I hope it is something you will consider.

When we where building theme we tried boxed layout on Voice and we thought that it looks unusable because you have full width post slider, full width header and we tried to follow “Material design” principles.
Do you have suggestion how we can wrap everything so it will look nice? Since we are working on Voice updates and new update should be out by the end of next week I will talk with my team to see if we can figure it out how we can implement this feature.

First off thanks for letting us know that you tried to impalement a box them for Voice,
As for suggestions… i do have a few.
The first is the Slider it’s self … its nice, but the reality is “Sliders” are NOT great for SEO and load times… nor are huge sliders used on popular “magazine” sites. If you are going to have a slider, it could be smaller to fit within the width of the ‘box”. If you look at the leading magazines in heath, money, parenting, travel and pets… almost none have big sliders. I’ve added a list below of popular site at the top of Google Search for several verticals.
Example: http://www.cosmopolitan.com/ http://www.marthastewart.com/ http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/ http://www.ricardocuisine.com/ http://www.parenting.com/ http://www.dogchannel.com/ http://www.nationalgeographic.com/ http://www.chatelaine.com/Optional slider option: If you do want to have a big slider, a suggestion it to have one like 15zine theme.. One big image, 2 small.
Couple other comments: I would also like to say that I prefer the choice of fonts and dividers in Sidewalk over Voice… the theme as a whole feels a lot more polished, professional and… well more like a magazine.
All this said I really love Voice, am impressed with the support and looking forward to seeing what you guys come out with in the coming weeks and months.
... I also would like to say i think the feature area of Throne is better than the big slider in Voice.
The last thing I would like to point out relates to something you may want to consider as well… and this is increasing the width of the right nav so it can take the 336×280 large rectangle ad by Google; I say this as it is now listed as “one of the most popular” ad sizes… https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/17955?hl=en , other articles relating to the 336×280 include:

Please understand that 336px ads are not supposed to go sidebar. There are usually put into content of an article, it is very common thing. 340px wide sidebar wouldn’t make much sense as most of widgets don’t need that much width and it is not looking so good.
Also, we understand that some people will like some feature from one of our themes more than from our other theme. That’s why we have made several themes as we are just not able to fit everyone’s taste into a single theme
However, we can always help you with some additional styling and design, we offer that kind of services for all our users.

Great. Will do. True – design of your theme is probably the best just as I like – neat, modern, with a good taste.
I’m still having two issues, One where the Prev / Next option is reversed on single posts. instead of Prev showing the previous older post and next showing the next newest post, or the previous post & next post in a forced sort order via Advanced Post order plugin, the posts are flipped, so previous is newer & next is older. I’ve tried forcing the order in reverse by manually altering the publish date for all the posts in question but it doesn’t seem to change the order. The Order plugin options to propagate it’s sort to prev & next posts is ignored by the theme. Two, gallery posts image thumbnails have css sizing issues, especially on mobile, posts with two images won’t size to fill the two column space, and float below the top image on smaller screens. Please advise.

We still have an issue were we cannot add any new categories to the drop downs…. when we do, the main navigation bar disapears. You had sent some code to try… which we did… but it didn’t fix the problem. I did send an email to support last week and have yet to get a reply.
If you look at http://www.professorshouse.com/ and click on “Your Home”... the drop down is maxed out with 8 categories.
As I am on the topic of categories… are drop downs the only option? Is there any option to have a secondary navigation like: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/ ? If the user clicks on “life”... you see the categories under the “life” section.

Today I decided to check my website speed with Google PageSpeed Insights and noticed that Google views the theme as not mobile-friendly. There was a picture provided how google bot loads the website through a smartphone and the image in the slider of the post was viewed as out of the border. Moreover, the logo of the website was shrinked and cannot be seen accurately.

I am finding the WooCommerce integration to be very limited. There is no WooCommerce config option like I have in my other themes I have purchased. I can’t seem to make the product page go full width. In addition, the page that is supplied is broken and the header text spills out of the page.
http://imgur.com/Psv1QsvThe ad support doesn’t really make sense. When you view the website on a mobile device the leaderboard size ad just disappears, and the spot for the sidebar ad is not visible until you scroll half way down the page. This theme needs more work.

We are already aware of it, you are totally right. Don’t worry, we are preparing an update in a day or two which will fix the problem with woo commerce title and mobile ad.
Regarding woo commerce features, yes, there is definitely more room for improvement and we will also put some work into it. Please understand that we have a lot of requests from our users and several themes which we need to maintain so we are working hard at the moment to fix and improve all those glitches. It is just a matter of time.
