How do I change the height of the topmost header bar (the one that has the social media icons on it on header layout 2?

You can use the same selector as I gave you above. Just add height: 50px; to it. Change the height to what you prefer.

Hi, thank you for your reply. When I added height: 50px; to my custom css, it shifted my header logo to the right for some reason. This is the css code I had put in altogether (in conjunction with other css code you had recommended).
.fusion-header-v2 .fusion-secondary-header { border: medium none; height: 50px; }
Am I entering it in wrong?
If I delete the ‘height’ line, the rest of the code works fine, and the logo does not shift to the right.
-Also, is there a way to make the smaller top header with the social icons sticky, along with the main menu header? Thx

Currently the top header section (top bar) is not sticky, there is no option to add that either, unfortunately it would take some code adjustments to achieve.

Hi, there appears to be a very thin line (maybe only 1 or 2 pixels thick) between my topmost header row (the one with the social media icons), and the main menu header (with my logo and menu items). I am using header layout 2.
There also seems to be a small gap of a few pixels immediately above the small header containing the social media icons.
How can I remove these gaps?

Both are borders added for design reasons. If you don’t like them, you can add this to your custom CSS field: .fusion-header-v2 .fusion-secondary-header { border: medium none; } to remove them.

I purchased and installed the avada theme however I am having problems with the theme styling and spacing. I registered and and sent theme cannon support my issue over 24 hours ago and I have not heard back. How long does it typically take to receive support?
I am trying to remove the space between the header and the slider. There is a large gap of space about 75 pixels high between these 2 and I cannot figure out how to remove.

Just a note about reply times, over the weekend the reply times can go over 24 hours, but we try to keep them around 10-12 at all times. We also had an issue with our ticket system yesterday and a server going down so we were a little backed up, but all is back to normal now

Actually the font size inside the footer widgets is controlled by the body font size. If you want to change it independently, you could use a few lines of custom CSS for it. If you need help with that, please signup at our support center and submit a new ticket. Include all the details about the issue, your site URL and version of Avada. You can place icons next to any menu item when using the built in megamenu. And the icons will link with the text of the page name.

thx, to clarify can I 1) have an icon only in the mega menu without text that can be clicked on that goes to another page. OR 2) can Ihave an Icon that sits above the text that can be clicked on that goes to another page? thx again!
For #1, there is a clever way to set it up, remove the navigation label and use in place, after that, just add the megamenu icon. The icon will be linked to it.
2 is not possible without custom css.

That can be done with custom CSS. our support team can help with that, signup and post a enw ticket at our support center. Include your site URL that shows the menu / icon and they can provide the css to adjust that.

If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

No plugin we could recommend specifically for this. Generally speaking though the plugins from WooThemes (authr of WooCommerce) that are created for WooCommerce work pretty well. But if there really was an issue, you could post on our ticket system, as said above, and we would be happy to investigate.

Hello, this is a pre-sales question. I like your theme very much and I am sure it will do everything i need but i have one question. Can you tell me if the header can be made to look similar to this http://thecakeryleamington.co.uk/ I need to have an image for the header background and have the logo positioned as the one in the above site with the main menu in the same place. I have looked at your demo but cannot see how this can be done so any help or advise is very much appreciated.

To get that exact setup will require some custom CSS and edits. You can place the logo on the left and menu on the right and use a background image. But that site has a unique position for the logo and background behind it that would require some customizations.

1. Yes you can do that with the free Contact Form 7 plugin. It allows you to build unlimited forms and place them on any page or post. We offer design integration for it as well, and support.
2. That is not a built in feature, however there are many different plugins out there that can be used for this.

Hi, I’m looking at buying your theme and what I would like to know is can I buy the theme once and use it on 2 websites – 1 for the final product and 1 for getting used to all the features and testing plugins etc?
I tend to use a private domain name to test and learn the theme before making a website.

Each single license of $58 entitles you to use the theme on one site, so if you need it on two sites you would need 2 licenses. However if you are only using one of the sites for testing and setup, then that should be fine, just make sure that each live, finished site has its own license.
