Hi Ya’ll..I’m enjoying the theme. Issue: you all say it’s WPML compatible…but WPML doesn’t. lol…It’s not listed as WPML compatible on their site and sure enough, I’m having trouble getting it to work. Thought it was cornerstone at first but deactivated X and it works on another theme. What gives? Thanks!

Much like Susan Airachi above, my theme also broke after latest update. I have posted a detailed request to support earlier today, but have not yet gotten a response. I have pasted that below. I too tried to install Cornerstone after fully reading through the changelog, but that actually crashed the whole site and I had to deactivate just to get my site back. Can someone please help? Thanks!

Hey there I went into a site we are building with X theme and it had updated to the latest version. We aren’t using a child theme. The rest of the site looks ok (http://clientsandbox.xyz) but all of our buttons utilizing the icon shortcode are missing the icon. This worked fine before the upgrade. We are still in VC so we thought maybe we needed to switch to Cornerstone for them to work as we read the changelog and noticed this was now a required plugin that had not been installed yet. We installed the cornerstone plugin, but upon installation our entire site went to a white page, including not being able to access the backend. I had to go to the network side and deactivate the cornerstone plugin from there and then the site came back up and all was normal. I tried the same process and deactivated the X-Shortcodes plugin to see if then the site was accessible, but that did not work either and I once again had to deactivate cornerstone.
Can anyone help? At a minimum I need my icon shortcodes to work. A prime example of the issue is on the bottom of the home page. All three of those large buttons should have icons and it is spacing the button like they do, but the icon is missing. Please advise! Thank you in advance for the help!!
Our WP version is 4.1.5. Of note, I did try updating to 4.2.2 and the update went fine/site still looked good Then I repeated the cornerstone install process, but it had the same outcome as described above.

I see that several people in the past asked about adding images to mega menus. Has there been any update to add this capability?
No, and there are not any immediate plans to as the intention of megamenus in X were for organizing numerous text elements. There are various 3rd party plugins that extend this type of functionality further which customers are welcome to use, however how you see them in the demos is how they work out of the box within X from an integrated styling standpoint.

Yes indeed! You can set the content area to boxed or full-width (and on boxed as wide or narrow as you’d like to the pixel).

Holy SHIZA #NEXTLEVEL! It’s been forever since I rocked my X design for a client and wondered what X has been up to so I just saw the whole 45 min video your new ‘Cornerstone’ plugin/page builder and then some! I wanted to check it out myself as it looks Amazing Themeco! so i did a WP instal and uploaded the latest X… but the Cornerstone plugin won’t upload/activate … would I have to buy another copy just to play around with it?

You can use Cornerstone with your installation. Make sure that you’re using the latest version of X and under X Addons > Extensions you can install Cornerstone. If that is not working you can try a manual install by going to Plugins > Add New > Upload and go into the x theme folder under /x/framework/plugins/ and in there select the cornerstone.zip file. Let me know if that did the trick.

I am out of office and absolutely can’t find a submit ticket button on the mobile version of your support site. Since the last update my site only shows those elements that have no opacity / no animations, everything else shows a blank space instead! I have first tried disabling other plugins but could not solve this. This is the address: www.quidnoviconsulting.com – please advice!
Edit: I installed cornerstone and it went back to normal. Do you suggest I take further measures, too? Is there an updated guide to the theme for those who were used to the previous version? Could you please mail out next time in case there’s a major change like this one? Thanks

Major Flaw in CornerStone Possible & Having issue getting real tech support
Cornerstone has failed on most of our pages where it will no longer allow for editing using Cornerstone. We have tracked the issue down to migration of data from 1 MySQL database to another. A typical process when someone goes from one host to another; typical in scenarios where a website is developed in one location and pushed to another location when it goes live.
In our case, we were using cornerstone for 100% of our page building with a few CSS edits saved in a child style.css file. During this process, we were successful in not touching the “Yep” option when asked if we wanted to edit a page outside of Cornerstone. At no point did we want to edit anything outside of Cornerstone, just as we have done previously in Visual composer.
Now almost every page in our new site is locked out of Cornerstone; unable to change anything unless we want to start over from scratch in that page. .
After several messages over 4 days with Theme.co support, screenshots tof the issue and extending access to our wenbsite to the their tech support team, I have yet to see any actual troubleshooting.
Information our emails was ignored, replies typically took 24+ hours to get a response, canned responses that ignored our actual issue were twice posted and no evidence of troubleshooting was presenting.
As an example, a proper troubleshooting step would be to try and replicate the issue within our development website by recreating content from one page to an other, comparing the outcome. Further, simply showing any work performed would be excellent. None was produced. Essentially, a short rebuttal was offered to our information with little effort proven.
Finally, to add insult to frustration, the last message posted ignored our last post. They simply accused us of knowingly clicking the “outside of Cornerstone warning” and offered no further assistance.
This is not indicative of what I was lead to believe about this company and I hope I can get some actual assistance from someone better equipped at Theme.co.

Secondly, we have many customers using Cornerstone which is working just fine, so whatever issue you are facing is unique to your particular install and not a global issue which is why there may have been an extended back and forth in trying to diagnose what is going on with your particular installation. A member of our staff has replied and explained the issue. The issue was not with Cornerstone but whatever migration tool you used. Serialized data can’t be corrupted unless manually interfered with by the user directly or migration tool. If you need anything further with regards to this, please follow up with them in the forum as that is where all support is provided, and they will be happy to further assist should you run into any more issues.
Howdy, folks!
I haven’t even activated X (it’ll be on a live site); I’m just playing around in the Live Preview, and it’s looking great.
The only thing is, as I play with all the options, once I try to turn Ethos’ Post Carousel on, the preview stops updating, no matter what other options I choose.
Not a huge deal, and perhaps it’s just me, but I thought you’d like to know.
