The only thing that has kept be from buying this theme was the lack of built-in WooCommerce options. I see in an above comment that you will be adding more Woo features? Is there anything you can tell me about the next update? I am so tempted to buy this theme.
Sure, for starters AJAX cart functionality! Beyond that, a configurable cart navigation item (colors, data, layout, et cetera) has been added that updates when the AJAX index functionality is active. Also, when the AJAX index is active when adding an item an animated alert displays informing visitors that an item has been added. We’re excited to introduce this much anticipated and requested feature in the next update!

Hi, is there a tutorial on how to do a page with video intro in cornerstone? Like the main demo.
Hi There,
There is a video tutorial here that walks through various slider configurations including the video header at the top. Keep in mind the configuration and turning on of features like the video header haven’t changed and aren’t something you set in Cornerstone. Our next update will include a Revolution Slider Element for Cornerstone that will allow for integration of slides within Cornerstone, but you can currently set the video header following the instructions outlined in the video above independent of Cornerstone.

No this is not possible. You are not allowed to resell / redistribute our theme on any other marketplace or website. You can use it for 1 single customer or for one website of your choice but not reselling it.
I’m wondering about all the RAVE reviews at Hong Kiat and others written BY Themeco.- and you can’t even comment unless you sign up with creepy disqus. “This post has been brought to you by themeco? Isn’t that cornerstone’s makers? If so – why should we trust this review?” I’ve bought this theme but not yet used it. But This seems kind of creepy and untrustworthy. Any explanation?

There are many posts from many companies on that site and other various design blogs sponsored by their respective companies to help get the word out about updates and feature announcements. We did not write the article, and any testimonials cited there (at least with regards to our product, can not speak for others) are actual, unsolicited testimonials from our customers. For a detailed list of even more customer reviews you can check out this page, broken down by month.
As for Disqus being “creepy” – can’t help you there as they are a 3rd party, but we haven’t personally heard that before

It makes me wary of the over-the top- “this product will save your life!” review. Others who read this will feel the same way. You might want to address that with Hong Kiat. It makes both you & him look untrustworthy.
I think you are missing the point. It is not untrustworthy to disclose something as a sponsored article as that is the point of the disclosure. You see it all the time in newspapers, magazines, online, etc. The owners of the site can also choose use their own affiliate link if they wish. If they are Envato affiliates and want to promote the theme with their affiliate ID, that is their option to do so however we have no control over that since their team wrote the article and it is their site. If you review their site and countless others across the web you will see thousands of articles like this from many different companies (another theme company just the previous week on the same site). On our article, all of the quotes and customer testimonials listed are unsolicited, actual testimonials from our customers. Since it is an ad though they have disclosed that. If you have issue with them using their affiliate ID to promote the article, you would need to contact them directly as we have no control over that.

How can I make the background image fixed, instead of repeating on scroll?
Are you guys planning on making your theme more woocommerce friendly? Would be nice to see some more options. example/ Cart icon in navigation that shows how many items in cart and whats in cart on hover.
We do have an exciting new WooCommerce feature coming in our next update that is right up this alley

Hi, We purchased your theme and have everything set up but we cannot get rev slider to install and we cannot get visual composer to install. Whenever We try to install revslider from wordpress admin we get the following error:

This error indicates that you’re having a hard drive limit issue, meaning that you do not have enough space on your web server or running out of certain limitations. Please get in touch with your web hosting provider to resolve this and/or double check all the web hosting settings.
Is there a way you could email me the slider and visual composer and I could install them manually?
They are included in your download under Framework > Plugins.

One more question I have is whenever I go to Appearance > Customize it just get a loading screen that never loads.

That is a background image being called from our server which is why your SSL Cert is not showing secure (since the image file is not hosted securely on your site). You can download the image directly and then go into the Customizer and set the background to that file and it will then be hosted on your own domain.

I am having mobile issues with this template. I am getting markup tags on mobile view, and I could have sworn there was a “enable mobile view” option box in this theme. Did I dream that? Is there a way to have the short codes supported in mobile view, or will this be my daily endeavor to fix?

You shouldn’t have any markup on mobile view (and if you are using Cornerstone you can click one of the view buttons to see how your page looks on various devices).

I had worked on this through a test site then switched it over to a new domain when it went live. So, that netherworld time of it transferring over created some glitch on the two phones that showed shortcode on the mobile site.
So, with that, I really don’t have an issue anymore (I mean, I obviously have issues but not with this theme)!

Hello there, I first just want to say I am thoroughly enjoying the X theme! But I had a slight request. It is a tiny miniscule detail, but it may lend even more to the greatness of this theme. My request is as follows: I am adding an accordion to my page, I am copying and pasting a large amount of information in the body area of one of my accordion pages. It is over riding everything and creating one giant block of text. I am manually adding
andto the entire text area to break it up. If you guys could add on the tool box a ‘Quick CSS’ button of sorts with just a little drop down of these simple CSS Codes to place within the text it would be quite a time saver! Especially for future clients of yours like myself. ((Another thing, after adding all the CSS Coding to the text, if I go back to edit it again it will remove all the Coding I previously added. Perhaps an issue to be looked into?)) Thank you, Michael

Thanks for writing in! It seems that the code you wrote in here has disappeared as maybe you didn’t use special characters, but I’m assuming that you mentioned utilizing <p> tags or somthing similar to break things up. If you switch to the “Visual” tab when editing, the WordPress editor can automatically add these <p> tags for you and you can also format other things as needed. In the “Text” editing tab, everything must be handwritten, this is simply the way the WordPress editor works, which is not something we can alter given that this is a bad practice to change expected behavior.
I’m not sure what “CSS codes” you’re mentioning here either without any further specificity, but if you wouldn’t mind sending us an email with a little more information, we’ll be happy to clear up anything else there.

I would like to install the theme to a test site to build a preview site for the customer. Can I use your theme in this site and then “uninstall” it from the test site and use it on the real one without buying another license? (The website in the end is only one, and I no longer need the test site)

I’m getting error 403 when installing Cornerstone Plugin.

Try installing manually by going into your WordPress dashboard under Plugins > Add New > Upload and then going inside your X theme folder under /x/framework/plugins/ and selecting the cornerstone.zip file.
Menu visibility problem on iPad and other small screen devices.
If you hold iPad, or any other tablet, in a landscape orientation and click on a menu to open it, the second level and below will disappear off screen.
Try that with any of these demos (try to expand “Home” menu):
“Integrity > Home 1”
“Renew > Home 3”
“Icon > Home 1”
“Ethos > Home 1”
Could you flip the menus to unfold in a different direction when a screen edge is close?
This issue renders parts of your theme unusable.

That is simply because those particular menus have a LOT of items to include all of our demos (most sites won’t have near that many items in their dropdowns).

All these demos have only 5 to 6 primary menu items. Does not seem like a lot.
It appears if we chose one of these layouts we can’t have two-level deep menus (second level goes off-screen on iPad) at all.
So no solution in any foreseeable future, we should just see if it fits?

Allow me to elaborate on things a little further. Integrity 1 for example, which has 9 navigation items including the 3 menu items for bbPress, BuddyPress, and search, is quite lengthy in terms of navigation and as mentioned previously most site navigation won’t have this much to it. That being said, what you’re experiencing with the “Home” menus for example is a very small edge case where all of the following conditions must be met:
- A menu must have enough items to stretch the full width of the navigation before it goes into “mobile” mode.
- The first menu item must have a submenu.
- A link inside the submenu must also contain a submenu.
While this is certainly a very small case for when this might happen, we can certainly understand that this is something that might likely occur and as such we will make a note of this and see if it is something we can look into (i.e. such as having the menu open on the other side if it were to be hidden).
For now, you can keep these considerations in mind and realize that this only affects a very small use case and it is easily avoidable with proper information architecture or perhaps structuring a menu slightly differently depending on if this is something you might happen to run into.
