I just bought your theme and I’m very happy with it.
I’m just finishing the customization of my website but there’s still one thing that I need to be able to change. My native tongue is Portuguese, so the entire website is in Portuguese, but there are a few details that maintain its default settings (English)
For example, when watching a video I have the option to click “More” or in the bottom I can click “Next” or “Previous” to watch the other videos. Also, in the blog page, the user has the quick view option to click “Read More”.
Is there a way to, manually, change the text that appears in these CTA? (So I can translate it to Portuguese?)

Hi! I have two questions:
1) I can see, how to create a page and set it to Header style with Big Carousel and then make it Homepage. But I can’t understand, how to change the demo content from the Big Carousel to my unique content – where do I have to put the video links for the Big Carousel?
2) I can’t understand, how to set an author page with my suggestions. I installed the theme and the sample data. In the menu Features there is an option Author page – when I click on it, it links to http://demo.cactusthemes.com/truemag/author/vantrimaster/ So, how can I set my own author page?

1. You can delete the demo posts by going to admin panel > Posts > All Post. When you create a new video post, it will automatic display in Big Carousel.
2. Author page: It’s a default page of wordpress. When you click on author name in a post, it will link you to that page. So I’m not sure I get your question

Thank you, Cactus Themes! Now I understand, I misunderstood the author page as an option to create “data base” or a list with video producers and every author page asigned to a particular producer.

It depends on how you organize video series. It can be Channel, Playlist or simple Tags and Categories. Then you can combine using shortcodes to build such pages.

You will need Category Images plugin to set feature image for categories: https://wordpress.org/plugins/categories-images/. That page should be made manually.

PRESALE QUESTION: If we put the url vídeo on the options you gave on the custom post for video… will it slow down the site ?
I own detube and my site speeded up when i put all the videos as regular posts and put the youtube video directly…
I love your theme but i think that it will slow down my site…. too much options for the SQL

You’re right that when the database is too large, it would slow down the site. However, unless you have million of videos, I do not see performance problems within our current customers.

My site has near 2.000.000 visitors each month… I´m loving your theme but i dont want to have the same problem that i had with detube… i had to put all the videos like normal posts …. Is this theme faster than detube or will i need to do the same? Thanks for your help

Hello. I am using the theme in illasaron.com/wp. Although I set the main menu, I get another predetermined menu with items activity, home and advertising space and no possibility to change it. Could you please indicate me to do because I can not use my website without the main menu.
In the Main Menú, when I trie add a new item, I can not save it and the main menu do not show , I have to configurate again in theme options????

The settings should not be affected when you update new version. You can export settings (Option Tree > Export Settings) before updating to backup.

Hi, thank you for reply. I`m using separate page with contact form 7 for user submission and when I disable user submit option in theme option panel everything gets disabled including that page with contact form 7 . I tried to comment out some code in header-navigation.php but no luck so far . Your help would be greatly appreciated ..

So if you want to use the submit form in other places, you can just hide the button on header using this Custom CSS (paste in Theme Options > General > Custom CSS)
.navbar-nav .submit-video{display:none}
