When I insert a movie URL, if followed by a sentence to the following URL will be displayed well , but if POST ends with URL, the movie does not appear .

When the old NEWSPAPER it was displayed well . It is no longer displayed when the version 6 .

Hi, Do you want to have a list with authors and each one to show the latest comment? The theme doesn’t have such a feature and require custom work, sorry for the inconvenience!

That template was built for a video post, if you use it on a normal post it will display the featured image instead of the video. To add a custom individual link for each post you have to modify the code, the function which handles the featured image area can be found here – http://screencast.com/t/rBJQR8Ov3pxE – This is not an easy modifications and i suggest that you hire a professional to help you with this. We would have gladly made it for you but for the moment we cannot offer custom work, sorry for this.

On mobiles the background should not appear, the screen width it too small. If it shows up on some high resolution devices try this css:

Hi,

The theme doesn’t come with such an option , it can only be done with custom css or modifications on the grid. The blocks displayed in the sidebar may also need adjustments to display fine on the newly set width. Such modifications are not easy to make so i suggest that you look for a professional to help you with this task.

The slider uses javascript and it may get broken by a conflict coming from a plugin or a minification. Try to disable all plugins except Visual Composer, if you use a CDN minification disable it and check if the issue is still there.

Yes it does, it comes with a bulk license for Visual Composer. This means the plugin can only be delivered by us via the theme package and it cannot be registered and updated directly from it’s developer. The plugin can be installed from the Newspaper panel – http://screencast.com/t/qdvOzgiVOxQQ

I suspect the fonts used for the share icons are delivered via CDN and a Cross-Origin Resource issue appears, try this solution – http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/71630/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co

The alternative would be to exclude the fonts from the cdn.

i’ve found a way to upgrade without lost anything, anyway which is the most – best cache plugin for newspaper v6 paid and free I’m using Wp-rocket do i need change to wp super cache in our documentation guideline

after upgrade to v6, could i delete the old thumbnail from v4?

If your plugin works fine there’s no need to change it, we just made some tests with WP Super Cache and that’s why we recommend it, other cache plugins may work fine.

To delete old thumbs you could use Force Regenerate – https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/

Or look for a plugin which deletes unused thumbs.

The “Video” stack was made using just theme’s settings and it was designed for a video thematic site therefore video formats posts were used there but you can use standard posts types as well.

Hi,

The popular 7 days sorting creates an query based on a additional view count. Test you posts editor panel for these 7 days custom fields: http://screencast.com/t/71z54ra1pqIv and refresh the post a few times then check if the counter increments.

You should also consider turning off caches if you want this sort option because it’s not working well when using cache and also make sure you have the post view settings enabled in theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/6KcstVW1qL

Please test this without having any plugins active, make sure you empty all caches and also purge CDN files if you use an cnd host then disable all plugins you use leaving just the Visual Composer plugin active and test again.
