I like a lot of things about this theme, but here’s some feedback…

1) It would be better to have alternate templates with left and right sidebars, without having to rely on using the page builder to them in. You could still have a full width template to allow people to use teh page builder should they wish – so they can add the sidebar in with different widths if that need to.

2) Allow users to set the default template site wide via the theme options i.e. the sidebar ones above

3) Allow users to specify the page sidebars site wide via the theme options. At the minute, when creating a new page you have to remember to choose the correct sidebars for the footer, title bar etc – we should be able to set these once and have them be the default. Again it’s good to be able to change them on a per page basis, but setting defaults would definitely be a step forward.

At the minute, I’m setting up lots of pages, and I have to choose the sidebars for the title bar, and the footers, then use the page builder to add the page sidebar….for every single page I’m creating.

p.s. pro tip for anyone else being slowed down by the above, use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/, then set up one base page with dummy text, and keep cloning it with this plugin to set up the basic pages and sidebars, then you can go back in and add in your content.

For anyone looking to create a child theme of this theme, but finds the styling is messed up, follow these steps (posted here to save you the time):

Install https://wordpress.org/plugins/one-click-child-theme/, and set up your child theme.

In the child theme that that plugin creates, look in the functions file. The plugin correctly tries to enqueue the parent styles, but the way the other parent styles are loaded (for the menus etc) means they load in the wrong order. Just do the following.

In that child functions.php, change: add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘theme_enqueue_styles’ ); to add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘theme_enqueue_styles’,100 );

This just loads the main parent theme styles later, and you’re good to go.

I purchased theme few days ago and started building my website. Right now, my Menu Bar and Logo is messed up. In order to solve this, I want to set my Menu bar quite right sided as there is lots of space in the right side. And also want the Logo position quite Left sided. Could you tell me how to do it. Hello, I recently updated my website with your “functions.php” file and noticed that it crashed my entire site and gave me the white screen that locked me out of everything. When I replaced it with the previous update it worked again.

There seems to be a conflict with SEO by Yoast plugin. On each meta description tag, the website’s tagline is inserted before the one set manually via the above mentioned plugin resulting in multiple meta descriptions.
