Hi ! I installed the latest version of Bridge 7.6.1 from scratch: in Visual Composer, when I insert a tab or an accordion, in the tab item settings, it says that it’s an old deprecated version of the tab/accordion…
also, I noticed I don’t have access to the tours, an the slide panels items in your version of VC : is it a customized version ?!

No, it’s fine. VC added deprecated notice, but we don’t user their tabs & accordions, we use our own template and just use their admin side, in order to render them as tabs in editor. We will remove that message in next update.

Could you be more specific what do you mean by ‘advertisments’? If you mean on Google Ads, than you can insert in manually on page (like free html content) or in any widget area. probably they will not work with ajax page transitions.

Probably it will not initiate itself since js used for it is not included in our ajax logic. Solution would be to integrate it ajax logic, but that would require some custom work.
Regarding bridge theme folder, you can use ‘Hide My Wp’ plugin for example.

I set my qode options for single portfolio items to gallery view. however since the pics in the portfolio item are different sizes the images become different size squares. can i set it so they are all the same size? heres what i mean

There were 2 updates with version 7.6.1. You need the latest one. If you are using Envato Toolkit for updating it will not recognize the update, because we didn’t change the version of the theme, it is 7.6.1. You need to download the latest version from the Theme Forest manually and update the theme via ftp: http://themeforest.net/item/bridge-creative-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7315054/faqs/20218
You can just replace the following files with the new ones: wp-content\themes\bridge\vc_templates\vc_column_text.php wp-content\themes\bridge\vc_templates\vc_empty_space.php

Ok, your way does not work. But I solved the problem like this: I deleted VC completely and reinstalled the newest version (4.6) which is included in the latest Bridge version.
This leads me to the following conclusion: Problems like this are caused by the fact, that the plugins (espesc. VC) are not updated, when you update the theme (either via Envato toolkit or manually). Is there a workaround or a procedure to solve this? Why does the update not work for the plugins that are obligatory for the theme?

VC added method in the code which was not available in previous version of VC. We didn’t realize that, but we posted update after our users reported issue. Also, we had one more update after that one, with same version 7.6.1 as it was just few characters fix also because of new version of VC. Unfortunately css animations on elements are not working on fullscreen section since native scroll is disabled on such pages. You can use full screen parallax section instead, if that is good with you.

I did that. didn’t work either.. Found a solution on your support site from a user.. And that did the trick.
Here is the solution If it helps to try what i did it worked perfectly. You just need to go into the backend of you site using FileZilla or something similar go to the plugins folder, delete js composer from the plugins list.Then go to the latest download folder form Bridge and inside the folder named ‘Bridge’ you will find a folder named ‘Plugins’ inside there is a folder named ‘js composer’ (un compress it if its not already) just upload that folder using filezilla back where the one you just deleted came from. And thats it, it just works straight away.
The problem seems to happen from what i can see because when you upload the theme as a whole its no update js composer which is the Visual Composer, so this is the manual method.Not very happy how this went. Took me 2 hours to figure out how to fix this. And a unhappy client who’s website was down for two hours.

why should i update vc? The envato toolbox just said that there was a update of the theme. No mention of VC update was there. I had the latest version of VC installed. So is your version different from the latest version of VC? Its not good that by autoupdating the theme the website gets broken. That never happened before when updating the theme. I was not the only one having problems with this. Look here and on your support site. Many people had this problem.

You shouldn’t update VC plugin by yourself, since we are doing that and check if the new version of VC is compatible with the theme. We are always including stable version of VC in our theme, and modify the templates (if it is needed) in order to work with our theme. So you should wait until we release the new version of theme that is compatible with VC plugin version, it is the only safe way. We do the updats regularly.

Well ok. But now I have updated to the latest version and your version of VC. And I am suddenly having problems with my Navigation. Im using left side Navigation bar but on certain pages suddenly there is a top bar visible and the layout gets screwed up. After visiting such a page the navigation doesn’t work anymore.

Which version of theme do you have? New version of Bridge theme is approved few hours ago. It contains the fix of reported issue with ‘Empty Space’ shortcode.
