Hi there! Just uploades the theme and the three main plugins that come with it. However, when I came to Layerslider, wp says: Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. (etc etc) public_html/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/
Plugin install failed.
How do I fix this? Thanks!

You can try to delete wp-content/plugins/js_composer folder and try installing again from dashboard. Also, you can try to unzip js_composer.zip file and upload it to wp-content/plugins folder.

I am trying to change the colours on the comments section below blog posts.. the comment box borders and the submit button but i cant seem to find it anywhere.. can you advise where i can find it please either as custom css or the section in the qode options, that would be much appreciated. Preferably the section in the qode options but either will do

Make sure to install latest Visual Composer and Layer Slider.
1. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps 2. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it 3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard 4. Install the plugin and then activate it
Same procedure goes for Layer Slider.

loving this theme. very flexible. a few questions:
1. i want to use my own set of social icons especially in the left menu’s footer. any direct way to replace the existing ones? how?
2. when my site loads, i want the page to have just an intro text and a couple of small images. NO menu, no nothing. but when i.. may be.. scroll down or click somewhere, it should lead me to my actual homepage with all the elements, the menu. i am sure it is possible with this great theme. but how?
3. is it possible to have a scroll bar (not counting the browser’s scroll bar) alongside the gallery thumbnails?

1) Only with custom coding, they just can’t be easily integrated into our existing graphic interface.
2) It is possible, first page with removed header and footer. Again, custom CSS.
3) Unfortunately, this one is negative out of the box. Only if you have already existing HTML code that renders like that, then, you can use it within Raw HTML shortcode.

Thank you for an incredible theme!! Quick question. When the landing/home page is loading it’s black. I want to keep it white while it’s loading like all the other pages. You can use our shortcode for Google maps and add up to five custom markers into any content on your site. Also, Masonry gallery shortcode can be used in any post/page/portfolio item.

Yes they will, because shortcode isn’t related to page template.
Is it ok to update the latest version of WP?
Yes, you can upgrade to WP 4.3 if you are using Bridge 7.6.2. Just make sure to use latest Visual Composer and Layer Slider versions as well.

How do I update Layer Slider? The update isn’t showing up in wp plugins page.
If you have installed latest theme version, then follow those steps:
1) Deactivate plugin 2) Delete plugin 3) You will have now warning message in top of your Dashboard saying you’re missing required plugins. Just follow onscreen instructions and you will obtain latest plugin compatible with our theme.
Note that same procedure goes for Visual Composer as well.
I’m getting this error after following your intructions regarding updating Layer Slider. “You need to authorize this site in order to get upgrades or support for this plugin. Purchase a license or enter an existing purchase code.”
Note that this message is only about auto updates and support. We have bought extended licence which granted us right to distribute this slider as a bundle. So, we’re handling support and updates. You can always find latest version that is working with our theme within latest theme upgrade.

Hi ! is it possible to disable the scrolling effect when I go back to a anchor section of a page from another page (like www.url.com/pagename/#sectionname)
but I like to keep the scrolling effect when using the main menu to navigate within the page…
