I already asked a year ago for a more modern styled mobile menu .. the current burger or all the other fa-icons are really old-fashioned.
But you already offer a much better mobile menu style on the right side of the mobile view ( menu opens only 2/3 and closing with “x” sign).
I´m using only left menu on my site .. so on mobile view there is no right mobile menu sign .. only the left side.
Now my question : Can I change by css coding that my menu is accessible on the right side on mobile view … to get the modern mobile menu style?

Unfortunately this is not an option in our theme. The Side Area (right hamburger icon), can only be enabled when the top menu is being used.

If I would enable the top menu and activate the side area …. would it be possible to hide the top menu and to hide the left mobile menu .. and use the right mobile menu as my standard menu .. as I asked for?
I believe it does’t work because it´s not possible to use left menu and top menu at the same time (even if top menu is maybe able to hide ) ... isn´t it?

If you activated the top menu, then on devices with screens under 1000px wide the menu items would not appear in the header, only the hamburger icons (for both mobile and side area) would be visible in the header. Then you could use the following code (paste into your custom css field in Qode Options > General) to hide the mobile menu icon:
.mobile_menu_button {
display: none;
}
And you would be left with only the side area (right) hamburger icon. Then all you need to do is set a menu in the side area by going to Appearance > Widgets and setting a Custom Menu widget in the Side Area widget area and setting the Custom Menu widget to display your main menu.

Yes, you are correct, it’s not possible to use top and left menu at the same time. You would need to switch to the top menu completely on both desktop and mobile for this to work.

Hmmm … thank you for an answer .. but I believe this is near raping the theme … it would be much easier your developer team would place a select button in the qode settings to choose between 2 or 3 different types of left mobile menu styles

I have a question and I am not asking it in the support forum as I don’t have the purchase code for the template (It was bought by a client and I am setting up a website for him).
I am trying to edit the portfolio-loop.php template in order to retrieve image description metadata. The goal is to have single portfolio item to use the small slider template and show image description as an overlay of the images. Do you think it is possible to retrieve the image attachment description data somehow? I can see you are pulling the image src and image alt text but I can’t manage to pull out the description.

Hi – can’t seem to figure out how to specify the portfolio items that appear in my portfolio slider (3 items in total) ion the home page?! Any help would be appreciated – tried everything I can see!

If you mean how do you set just a certain 3 portfolio items to appear in the slider, then you first need to go to these portfolio items from the backend and find the ID of each one. You can find the ID by clicking on the “Get shortlink” button, and the ID is the numbers after the equals sign: http://screencast.com/t/QeANx2qB
then you need to go to the page you set your portfolio slider on, and in the Portfolio Slider options “Select Projects” field input the IDs of the items you would like to display in the slider: http://screencast.com/t/Hh9BYhMSu1L

I’ve recently started using the theme and the Urban Shop demo. I have a few queries i’d love to get cleared up though.
First – how do I remove one of the footer columns. I only need to use 3 and having an empty fourth one is really messing up my aesthetics.
Secondly – How do I remove one of the cover boxes. Again like the situation above I only need to use 2 and not 3.
Third and finally – On my product pages in a large screen the title overlaps the product page. How do I fix this?

You can set the number of columns you would like to use in the footer by going to Qode Options > Footer and there setting the number of columns in the “Footer Top Columns” field: http://screencast.com/t/eufi1TJO
Regarding removing a cover box, you need to go to the page the cover box is on, and in the backend of the page delete one of the cover box elements via Visual Composer. Then you can create a new row set to two columns, and just move the cover boxes from your row with three columns into that.
