Hi – the media files no longer show up on my site. Do you know if this might be related to a template update? If I had a mp3 file on a page before, it would show the black play option, but now there is nothing that shows.

I am using your template which I love by the way…
I have 2 issues.. 1: On the demo site, the menu drop downs appear when you click, bur on my site they do not.. You click and then it takes you to a page.. http://www.janettehaslam.com/biography/2: The slider revolution goes right away across the page and not just in the container.. I don’t want the slider underneath the menu. Can you please advise?

We think that you have the option to don’t use the light version of VC, right? If this is the case the theme should still work perfectly, but we can’t ensure compatibility with other plugins.
If you are having issues with the theme when only the bundled plugins are active, you are more than welcome to report them (here or using the contact form on our profile page).
Also, we are already using that version on the theme preview and everything seems to be working perfectly. If you spot something that is not right here http://www.pirenko.com/samba_land/ we would be thankful if you let us know what it is too. This was clerly a major update and some bugs may be present, but for now everything seems to be fine.

Here are our comments:
1) It seems to be working fine here. Please send us a private message with the WP login details so that we can analyze this;
2) This should only happen if there are no posts within the same category. When we analyze number 1 we’ll check this one too;
Also, you don’t need to reinstall anything… As for the Visual Composer thing: we spent 18h trying to change the way that it is included with the theme and the idea is that you can use the “non-light” version. We discouraged you before, because you said you were getting a lot of errors and we thought they could be coming from conflicting plugins.

ok, for example, on the contact page, say i set a featured image, it stretches from left to right of screen and then has the contact form below as well the get in touch info.,. how can i do this with the visual builder. when i activate it, using “page – with sections”, the featured image is covered with my elements, i dont want to size a space to move it down because it will not look good on mobile devices.

Yes, It Was working, now its not. I have 5 items marked with a skill, the others arnt
Ahh. Fixed it TO ALL: The items you want to be shown on carousal, portfolio items need to have an skill item check marked, once done, the Filter Option will show that skill, simply mark that to activate portfolio items with that skill.

I have a navigation item, which when clicked takes you to a page with options to choose from, i want those items to show under the navigation when clicked.. by default I have to click the little ” + ” to see them. is there a way to force it on a specific page?

If you want to have access to a more standard version of Visual Composer please go to Samba Options>Advanced tab>Use light version of Visual Composer and turn it OFF. Please read carefully the disclaimer located near that option.

Hi, I would know if it’s possibile in Samba theme, modify “samba_close” button in “top_bar_wrapper” section (the top bar that appear in a portfolio) to make it go to the previous page (so when I will press on X button, it should do onClick=”history.go(-1); ).

I would modify close button in portfolio, because I have different levels of portfolio and sometimes when I click on it, it doesn’t goes on the exact page.
Here an example: http://www.apulianroots.com/portfolios/santi-di-puglia-2/When you click on “Presentazione Documentario – New York, 31 Marzo 2015” button, it goes in another portfolio page, and then when you click on Close button, it doesn’t return on the exact page. So I want modify this button to make it go every time on previous page.

Here’s a more detailed explanation about how that button works: when you are on a single page the theme searches for a portfolio page that has at least one of the single portfolio post skills. This way you can have multiple portfolios totally independent as long as you don’t mix skills on different portfolio pages.
Your “history go back” idea does not seem good on situations where you came to a single portfolio page from an external URL (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc…), because in this case you will leave the website.

Sry for so many questions. This may NOT be a theme related questions and if so i understand if there is no response. On the ‘Portfolio’ pages, I want to disable the page generated ‘Title’ and instead use one i created with the visual editor, however if i jus tremove the title, then it does not display on the image while using portfolio carousal

Hi Pirenko, I am considering the purchase of this theme however the only thing stopping me at this point is the inability to flip through images in the lightbox with a swipe on a touch screen. Is this something that could be implemented?

Thank you for your interest! Do you need to combine this with portfolio items or just images from the Media Library? The lightbox included with the theme ( http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/magnific-popup/ ) is not ready for that, but if you want to use images from the Media Library you can use an extra plugin…

If you buy the theme, the only thing that we can promise, is to add the script above and the Touchswipe script in the right places so that you can test it (hopefully it will work).

This does not give me too much options.. I cant seem to get a picture to fit properly.. it seems liek its cutting the out edge of the photo off.. what is the proper res of the slider image should be?
